The Israeli Rabbinate has officially declared that we're suffering from a drought. So, we're supposed to pray that G-d give us rain.
But the rabbis know well that there is a reason why there's no rain. We're being ruled by politicians who aren't doing the right job. When the Israeli Prime Minister calls for a Jewish only building freeze, G-d's reaction is to burn the clouds out of the heavens. That's why we haven't had the blessing of rain.
We must pray that our politicians metamorphose into true Jewish leaders. Once we have that, the rain will come, the right time and the right quantities.

All the rain seems to be coming down on Sydney.... it's been raining for weeks.
Somehow your blog disappeared from my Blog Roll and I only just realised... I updated a few things and some blogs disappeared....anyway you're back there now, sorry about that.
Devorah, I was wondering why I hadn't gotten visits from you. I'm redoing my blogroll after changing templates. So I have to get you up there, too.
I will pray for rain, and leaders who are righteous, love and honor His Torah.
