Peaceful, sic, Islam Exploding

Peaceful Islam, oxymoron or not?  If you believe American President Barack Hussein Obama, Islam is "peaceful," but if you read the newspaper or follow the news, other than gossip, fashion and sport sport, you'll hear something else.

The Attack at Turkish Airport

You don't have to be an accountant or rocket scientist to see that the vast majority of terror attacks nowadays are perpetrated by muslims.
Suicide bombers hit three Saudi cities on penultimate day of Ramadan
The explosions targeting US diplomats, Shi'ite worshippers and a security headquarters at a mosque in the holy city of Medina follow days of mass killings claimed by the Islamic State group.
And the largest international terror organization is run by muslims.

Mastermind of Paris, Brussels terror attacks caught!
November 2015 Paris attacks
On the evening of 13 November 2015, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks occurred in Paris, France and the city's northern suburb, Saint-Denis.[7] Beginning at 21:20 CET, three suicide bombers struck near the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, followed by suicide bombings and mass shootings at cafés, restaurants and a music venue in central Paris.[8]The attackers killed 130 people,[2] including 89 at the Bataclan theatre,[9] where they took hostages before engaging in a stand-off with police. Another 368 people were injured,[4] 80–99 seriously.[5][6] Seven of the attackers also died, while the authorities continued to search for accomplices.[3] The attacks were the deadliest on France since World War II,[10][11] and the deadliest in the European Union since the Madrid train bombings in 2004.[12] France had been on high alert since the January 2015 attacks on Charlie Hebdo offices and a Jewish supermarket in Paris that killed 17 people and wounded 22, including civilians and police officers.[13]The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks,[14][15] saying that it was retaliation for the French airstrikes on ISIL targets in Syria and Iraq.[16][17] The President of France, François Hollande, said the attacks were an act of war by ISIL[18][19][20] planned in Syria, organised in Belgium, and perpetrated with help from citizens of France.[21] All of the known Paris attackers were EU citizens[22] who had fought in Syria.[23] Some of them had returned to Europe among the flow of migrants and refugees.[24][25]
Simple fact. That is unless you're Barack Hussein Obama...
“Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”  Barack Hussein Obama

Not All Terror Victims are Equal

Why is Jewish blood considered cheaper than any other?

This post is not to belittle the recent terror attacks in Paris, nor say anything against those victims of ISIS Arab Muslim terror. But I'm sick and tired of the fact that we never see international identification and sympathy for Jewish and Israeli victims, like we see after other terror attacks. And I'm not only talking about responses from abroad. The Israeli media, politicians etc are no better.

being passed around on facebook
This composite compares the headlines of the Paris attacks and the Arab terror attack on the Litman family just before Shabbat which resulted in the murder of the father and son.

  • "Terror attack in Israel: Father and son were killed in an attack near Otniel."
  • "Terror attack in France: About 150 were murdered..."
Why the difference in verbs? One is killed in an accident, and the Litman family was not in an accident. They were attacked--targeted by Arab terrorists. The resulting deaths were murder, plain and simple.

The world is responding to the Friday night ISIS terror attacks in Paris in all sorts of ways.
Solidarity in symbols: Responding with light to Paris attacksJust an hour after a series of attacks rocked Paris on Friday night, the Eiffel Tower went dark in mourning.
But the response worldwide was to turn on the light: Three colors began appearing in solidarity: blue, white, and red. (Yahoo)

Here in Israel we've had to cope with many terror attacks with similarly proportionate deaths to the population, but in no case has the world shown much sympathy nor any identification, outside of Jewish communities.

As I've said many times, I have no doubt that the fact that the world sympathizes with the Arab aka Palestinian sic terrorists who murder and terrorize us here in Israel contributes to the confidence and enthusiasm of the terrorists  who are terrorizing France and the rest of the world.

What a Terrible Start to The Week and Jewish Month

I first titled this post "What an Awful Start to The Week and Jewish Month," but as the news of all the terror attacks kept reverberating in my head, I realized that using the word/adjective "Terrible" with the linguistic connection to "TERRORIST/TERROR" was much more suitable. I had never connected the two words before, but now it is so obvious that they have to be connected.

This past Thursday and Friday were Rosh Chodesh Kislev, the Jewish Month that has the shortest daylight and really begins winter. I had a lovely Friday at Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh for Women's Rosh Chodesh Prayers and then a very busy day finishing the cooking and cleaning. I wasn't on the computer nor listening nor checking news. It must have been similar for my neighbors, because nobody mentioned an rumors about a serious fatal terror attack near Hebron before Shabbat.

Rabbi Ya'akov Litman, HaY"D (in photo) and his son
Netanel, HaY"D were murdered right before
Shabbat near Otniel, south of Hevron.
So, I just wasn't prepared for the news that Arab terrorists had shot up a car of innocent Jews which resulted in the murder of two of them, a father and son.

Reuters
And of course I hadn't a clue of the massive terror attack in Paris over Shabbat, which had nothing to do with Jews and antisemitism. Over a hundred people have been murdered by the Islamic State ISIS terrorists in a series of coordinated attacks there and many more injured.

Reuters
I have no doubt that many Europeans are getting terrified of all the Arab refugees streaming flooding into Europe. The leader of the Paris attacks was a refugee who had arrived a few months ago. There is a fact that is being ignored by the European Union in its attempts to show how humanitarian they are. Arab Muslims do not make an aim/effort to integrate and assimilate. And the quantities of Arab Muslim refugees even small towns must take in are impossible to comprehend.
German town of 100 must take 1,000 Syrian migrants
I'm sure that the powerful politicians and bureaucrats who made these decisions live far away, very much like the Americans in the 1960's who favored integrating schools, but not where their children studied.

Especially considering the very low birthrate of white Christian Europeans, it's clear that in the generation or two, Europe will have totally changed. Start checking out the ethnic and religious status of the school children and the maternity wards, and the future will be clear.

What is the Attraction of ISIS and Radical Islam?

For quite awhile now, the news has been full of stories about otherwise normal, even educated and affluent people who have joined ISIS and radical Islam.

Foley beheading
The British were horrified to hear a man with a London accent announcing the beheading of James Foley last year.
British authorities launched a hunt on Wednesday for a man with an English accent who appeared in an Islamic State (IS) video purporting to show what Prime Minister David Cameron called the "barbaric and brutal" beheading of an American journalist.
A masked IS jihadist, dressed in black, who stood next to a kneeling James Foley in the video released online spoke with what sounded like a London accent.

In Israel it has been revealed that Arab teachers, not unemployed or poverty-stricken manual laborers, promoted ISIS.
Israel's Shin Bet undercover internal security agency and police said on Monday they had arrested and charged six Arab citizens, including four school teachers, with supporting and spreading the ideology of Islamic State.
The six, residents of the Bedouin Negev desert town of Hura in southern Israel, were charged with various offences and three were alleged to have planned joining Islamic State militants in Syria, a statement from Shin Bet said.
"The investigation uncovered that the suspects met secretly to discuss and promote Islamic State's ideology," Shin Bet said.
"The hard core among the activists are employed at schools in the Negev. Some took advantage of their position and attempted to plead the case for ISIS among pupils and teachers on school premises," it added. (Reuters)

A recent front page story in the International New York Times was about a young American woman who had been recruited into a radical Islamic group via the internet.
Alex, a 23-year-old Sunday school teacher and babysitter, was trembling with excitement the day she told her Twitter followers that she had converted to Islam.
For months, she had been growing closer to a new group of friends online — the most attentive she had ever had — who were teaching her what it meant to be a Muslim. Increasingly, they were telling her about the Islamic State and how the group was building a homeland in Syria and Iraq where the holy could live according to God’s law.
One in particular, Faisal, had become her nearly constant companion, spending hours each day with her on Twitter, Skype and email, painstakingly guiding her through the fundamentals of the faith. But when she excitedly told him that she had found a mosque just five miles from the home she shared with her grandparents in rural Washington State, he suddenly became cold.
The only Muslims she knew were those she had met online, and he encouraged her to keep it that way, arguing that Muslims are persecuted in the United States. She could be labeled a terrorist, he warned, and for now it was best for her to keep her conversion secret, even from her family. So on his guidance, Alex began leading a double life. She kept teaching at her church, but her truck’s radio was no longer tuned to the Christian hits on K-LOVE. Instead, she hummed along with the ISIS anthems blasting out of her turquoise iPhone, and began daydreaming about what life with the militants might be like...
I can go on and on with examples. But the question is why anyone could be attracted to such a life. In a sense it brings me back to the days of the late 1960's in the United States with the rise of the extreme radical Leftist "weathermen" group of terrorists. They did not come from the lower classes at all.
For the bombing of the United States Capitol on March 1, 1971, they issued a communiqué saying that it was "in protest of the U.S. invasion of Laos". For the bombing of the Pentagon on May 19, 1972, they stated that it was "in retaliation for the U.S. bombing raid in Hanoi". For the January 29, 1975 bombing of the United States Department of State building, they stated that it was "in response to the escalation in Vietnam".[4]
The Weathermen grew out of the Revolutionary Youth Movement (RYM) faction of SDS. It took its name from Bob Dylan's lyric, "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows", from the song "Subterranean Homesick Blues" (1965). "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows", was the title of a position paper that they distributed at an SDS convention in Chicago on June 18, 1969. This founding document called for a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other radical movements[6] to achieve "the destruction of U.S. imperialism and achieve a classless world: world communism".[7] (Wikipedia)
Here I am dancing down 5th Avenue
Salute to Israel Parade, 1968
At the same time as they were turning extreme Left and then to terror, I was discovering genuine Torah Judaism through NCSY and YU Seminars. The 1960s was a time when many people searched for a truth and purity to enrich our lives. I couldn't understand those who had been attracted to violence and hate then, and I can't figure them out now. My fellow classmates in high school, Great Neck North, went to civil rights demonstrations, while the civil rights I demonstrated for were that of Soviet Jews.

It's clear that there is something missing in the lives of many that attract them to the focus and discipline of extreme Islam. It's very much the opposite of the prevailing, "no truth" and no absolute value system in modern life. Many people want the certainty of definite right and wrong, even when some of the principles go against the normative western morality.

I think that the world as we've known it the past seventy years or so, since the end of World War Two is about to make a radical change.

Your opinion.... comment and share, thanks.

Why The Sudden Increase in Terror Attacks? Islam's Ramadan, Of Course!

On Friday, before Shabbat we were watching the world news on television, and all they talked about was the sudden sic inexplicable sic outbreak of terrorism and violence by muslims all over the world. With straight faces, the commentators insisted there was nothing to tie the beheading in France with the terror attack in Tunisia with the massacre in Syria and the mosque bombed in Kuwait. Either they were really stupid or great actors.

State Department: No Evidence Three Attacks Were Related
In my mind the reason was so obvious, because there's more tension here in Israel, too. It's Ramadan!

Everybody knows that during Ramadan Arab Muslim terror attacks increase, just like there's more rain on cloudy days than on sunny ones. It goes hand in hand.

Ramadan, which floats around the annual seasons, due to the peculiar rootless calendar Muslims follow, requires fasting during the day and then feasting at night.

Before getting into the theology that many use to explain and justify terror attacks, I'd like to say that physiologically, the long fasting followed by feasting, especially when it happens late spring early summer, does cause emotional instability and impulse control problems. But you don't find followers of other religions attacking others when they fast and feast.

Have you heard any Muslim religious leaders condemning the violence and terror? I just went through a whole bunch of the biggest of the news sites to look and found zilch aka nothing! Where's that gentle Islam United States President Obama keeps talking about?
"...Islam's role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings." (Aug 21, 2009 U. S. President Obama's Ramadan message)
To state the truth simply, I must say that the world is in danger. I hate to sound like a scaremonger, but there are sizable amounts of Arab muslims in countries all over the world who are not trying to integrate and assimilate into their new societies. They have an agenda, and it's neither peaceful nor humanitarian. France has already experienced a few attacks, and anyone who thinks they aren't all connected is lying to him/herself.

Jordan Has The Most to Fear From Arab Palestinian Terrorism

National borders as we know them here in the Middle East are pretty modern. And like in Europe* there have been many changes over the past couple of hundred years. Pretty much all of the present countries, barring one, has some historic basis. Egypt and Israel (as a Jewish country) probably have the longest documented history, although there was a long gap in time, about two thousand years when there wasn't a Jewish State.

One Middle East country has absolutely no basis in history and is ruled by colonizers/occupiers placed by European powers in the mid-twentieth century. That's Jordan. According to Wikipedia:
With the Great Arab Revolt in 1916 and the consequent British invasion, the area came under Occupied Enemy Territory Administration in 1917 and with the British mandate of Transjordan in early 1920s, it became the Emirate of Transjordan under the Hashemite Emir. In 1946, independent Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was formed and shortly admitted to the United Nations and the Arab League. In 1948, Jordan fought with the newly born state of Israel over lands of former Mandatory Palestine, effectively gaining control of the West Bank and annexing it with its Palestinian population. (italics mine)**
For many centuries, European powers played god with lands and continents that were administered either as city states or tribal areas. Any place that hadn't been christianized was subject to European colonization.

Over the decades of Jordan's existance it has periodically been threatened by the same Arab terrorists who want to destroy Israel. They very rightfully see the Hashemites as invaders and colonizers/occupiers.

Hat tip to IMRA for the following article:
Jordan
Jordan reiterates firm stance against terrorismJeddah, Sept. 11 (Petra) – Jordan reiterated on Thursday its firm stance against terrorism and affirmed the need to eradicate it from its roots.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh told a joint US-Arab ministerial meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia that the Middle East is facing serious challenges to the regional security and stability...Jordan, the foreign minister said, believes that the Islamic State poses a direct threat to its national security, calling for closer international efforts to uproot this terrorist organization before it is too late.
"Terrorism is a threat to the region and the whole world," Judeh said...
The Jordanian Government knows well that the Islamic State is directly connected to Hamas and all the other terrorists plaguing our region.

*old joke about the Polish-Russian border change
"I'm so glad that we're under Polish rule again."
"Why?"
"I can't stand those freezing Russian winters."
**The truth is that the United Nations had allocated the West Bank sic as another new Arab country, but Jordan invaded it and occupied it until it lost it to Israel in the 1967 Six Days War.
