The True "Conflict" Between Israel and The Arabs

Just like a doctor can't and shouldn't prescribe treatment without a proper, true, accurate diagnosis, we, the State of Israel will never achieve peace until we recognize what the problem is between us and the Arabs and then find a useful way of solving it.

The real reason there's constant war between the Arabs and Israel has nothing to do with anything that can be mediated or negotiated away.  It is not a "conflict." It is not a "spat." It is not what is called in Hebrew sichsuch  סִכְסוּךְ.
• a conflict between two gangs• recent violent conflict in the region• Everyone in my family always tries to avoid conflict.• There was inevitable conflict over what to name the group.• They're having serious conflicts over the budget.• I don't see any conflicts between the theories.• You'll need to resolve the conflict between your parents' plans for you and your own ambitions.
The very simple truth is that the Arab aim is the destruction of the State of Israel and the death (or banishment) of Jews. Remember that officially many Arab countries, including the so-called moderate sic Jordan is Judenrein, empty/cleansed of Jews.
Fatah leader calls to destroy Israel "from the river to the sea!"

"O our free people of resolve and sacrifice in Gaza, you are more honored than us all... We remain committed to the promise: freedom, independence, and driving out the occupier from the entire pure land, from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.
Long live free Gaza!
Your brother, Tawfiq Tirawi."
The State of Israel's hasbara information campaign and its foreign and defense policies unfortunately are totally faulty, because it keeps on avoiding the true issue.

United States Iran Policy Successful for... Iran

A mainstay of American policy is the "carrot," negotiations, even with some of the world's most dangerous countries and entities. United States officials put pressure on Israel condemning it for a variety of alleged sins, while being sympathetic to Arab terrorists. It's not only Israel that is expected to negotiate compromise give in, U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama has representatives negotiating with Iran to appease coddle them into stopping or reducing their nuclear weapons development. At least, that's the plan.

"Mediation," which Americans consider an effective way to "make the world a better place" is realistically useless when dealing with psychopaths, whether individuals, terrorists or countries.

For many, many years, Israel has been warning the world about Iranian nuclear weapons development, and the world's reaction was to ignore it. Israel should just have done a quick (granted technically difficult) bombing to destroy the area, such as we managed under Menachem Begin in Iraq.

This sort of action could only be successful if it's a surprise. Well, the timing for a surprise has long ended. One of the reasons is that the United States prefers negotiations.

Simultaneous to sending a negotiating crew, Iran hasn't stopped building nuclear weapons and rockets to attack other countries. Hat tip IMRA.
EXCLUSIVE: Iran Unveils New Missile Equipped with MRV PayloadsTEHRAN (FNA)- The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force has equipped its short-range Zelzal missiles with newly developed Multiple Reentry Vehicle (MRV) payloads, a military hi-tech owned only by a handful of the world states.
The surface-to-surface Zelzal missile is equipped with thirty 17-kg bombs which can destroy a wide range of targets and is a proper option for targeting airport runways and equipments, installations and facilities on the ground.
The solid-fuel missile with a 300-km range is among the most important missiles which can attack enemy targets and bases in short distances.
Zelzal was unveiled on Sunday in the presence of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in a two-hour tour of the IRGC's Aerospace Exhibition, where state-of-the-art equipment and hardware were showcased. (complete article)
There's also a long-range missile:
Iran's latest cruise missile, Ya Ali (AS), has a range of 700km
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) displayed a newly developed cruise missile deemed as a major boost in Iran's cruise capability.
The new missile production, Ya Ali (AS), was displayed during the Supreme Leader's tour of an exhibition of the IRGC Aerospace Force's latest achievements.
Military experts said the new product can hit targets 700km in distance that is more than two times the distance that the best Iranian cruise missiles could fly. (complete article)

Negotiations are used by Iran as a distraction, like the hucksters with their cup trick. While the word's "eyes" are on Iran's negotiating team, its nuclear weapons development  team is working at full-steam.

The final results will be beyond everyone's worst nightmares, G-d forbid.

What's A Mediator? or Why Israel Should Ignore American Pressure?

I got a kick out of seeing something in Israel's extreme Left Haaretz newspaper which echoes what I blog about the United States and its mediation sic between us and the Arabs.

What's a mediator?

Mediation, a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), aims to assist two (or more) disputants in reaching an agreement. Whether an agreement results or not, and whatever the content of that agreement, if any, the parties themselves determine — rather than accepting something imposed by a third party. The disputes may involve states, organizations, communities, individuals or other representatives with a vested interest in the outcome.

Mediators use appropriate techniques and/or skills to open and/or improve dialogue between disputants, aiming to help the parties reach an agreement (with concrete effects) on the disputed matter. Normally, all parties must view the mediator as impartial.

Mediators don't impose, especially prior to mediation.

United States President Barack Hussein Obama is so sure that his agenda is the right one that he is not embarrassed to go against all principles of mediation. Yes, he's a fraud; he's not a mediator.  The United States is putting unprecedented pressure on Israel to impose its pro-Arab position.  It's time for Israel to declare American "mediation" ended, null and void.

Stop the farce now!
