The Jewish People Have a Documented Right to Rule Israel Unlike Others...

The Jewish People Have a Documented Right to Be in Israel Unlike Europeans, Asians, Africans etc. in the Americas, Australia, New Zealand etc...

The only people/nation to have lived as a true nation, governing body in the Land of Israel aka Judea, later renamed by Hadrian to mask its Jewish identity.

We've been living in Shiloh since 1981, forty-five 45 years.

Biblical archeological experts agree and confirm that Shiloh, where I live, is the authentic Biblical Shiloh. There are no disagreements, which is pretty rare. Not all Biblical locations can confirm their identity/location. For example, experts disagree about Kever Rachel, the Tomb, burial of place of Rachel. Some think it's north of Jerusalem, not south in the spot that people visit.

Archeologists from all over the world, ever since the science began, have come here to dig and try to match what they found to the Biblical narrative. Also tourists, like Mark Twain, came to Shiloh and documented their visits. Twain found it deserted, which was how my neighbors who were the first Jewish families to return to live here in early 1978 discovered it.

In recent decades more and more archeologists, Jewish and Christian have been devoting their time, energy and expertise discovering connections and proof to what's written in the Bible.

Dr. Scott Stripling has been heading an annual month long dig in Tel Shiloh for years. His archeologists come from all over the world.

I heard the well-known Tanach scholar Rabbi Yoel Bin-Nun tell of his first visit to Shiloh, in between the 1967 Six Days War and the 1978 Jewish return. He hiked around trying to identify specific locations from the Biblical text. When he walked from south to north, at the furthest northern end, he saw wit was flat and a size that matched the area of the Mishkan Tabernacle. He was the first to recognize it.

Historically, the Jewish People ruled for over a thousand years, Judges, Priests, Kings, including a short exile between kingdoms. The Land was conquered by invaders, but no other native people ruled. Cities lost population and farms dried up, until early Jewish Zionists arrived to rebuild the Land and establish a Jewish State.

Much newer religions adopted parts of Jewish narrative forefathers and even claimed ownership of our Land as their own to try to delegitimize us to keep the Jewish People away. But archeologists have discovered synagogues under churches and mosques. Christianity and Islam are thousands of years newer than Judaism

Think about it, and share further.

Save The Date: Rosh Chodesh Shevat

Rain or shine we do our best to get to Shiloh Hakeduma Tel Shiloh for Women's Rosh Chodesh Prayers.

Shiloh is one of the rare Biblical sites which isn't debated. Today's Shiloh is the site location of the ancient one where the Holy Mishkan Tabernacle was located for almost four hundred years. The Mishkan predated the Holy Temple as the location for Jewish Prayer. And Shiloh predated Jerusalem as our holiest city as center for prayer.
Chana's prayers for a son took place in Shiloh in the area where we pray. Her much awaited and prayed for son, Shmuel, was brought to Shiloh after being weaned. In Shiloh he was taught by the Priests and later became the transitional leader of the Jewish tribal nation.

Today the area of Ancient Biblical Shiloh is a wonderful archeological park with activities and exhibits for all ages. You can contact them for more information. 025789111, visit@telshilo.org.il Public transportation, any bus that stops at the Shiloh Junction and then a few minutes' walk.

Rosh Chodesh Nissan- Month of Miracles

Every month, the first of the Jewish Month, Rosh Chodesh, we, a number of women from The Shiloh-Eli area, sometimes more and sometimes fewer, gather at the Place the Mishkan, Tabernacle rested for almost four hundred years, in Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh, to pray together. The Bible tells of Hannah praying there for a son after many years of being barren. A son was subsequently born to her, Samuel The Prophet who led the Jewish People from the anarchy of Judges to the rule of the Davidic Monarchy.

Here we are Rosh Chodesh Nissan at Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh

Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh is a well developed archeological site open to visitors on weekdays. There's lots to see and do. Phone: 02-5789122, visit@telshilo.org.il.

Wintery Rosh Chodesh Shevat

Chodesh Tov!

Today's Rosh Chodesh Shevat, and I had to decide between risking getting soaked and then stuck at Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh or just walking to wear I could see the Site of the Biblical Mishkan Tabernacle and pray there. I went for the view of the holy site, rather than risk my health. Judaism stresses that one isn't supposed to risk their heath. That's why today, when group gatherings --including prayers-- are considered possible contagion sources for COVID corona, many people either gather in small minimal groups outdoors or stay home for prayers.

A friend and I joined together via WhatsApp video for Hallel, which we prayed out loud. I don't think anyone was within hearing distance to me. Considering the weather, it was perfect.

Of course the weather did get brighter immediately after we finished, but I expected that. And I also was sure that if I had walked to Shiloh Hakeduma Tel Shiloh it would have rained. One can always count on Murphy's Law.

Next Rosh Chodesh will be Adar, which falls on Friday and Saturday/Shabbat, February 12 & 13. So we'll plan on praying together that Friday, 8:30am Gd willing.

בעוד חודש יהיה ראש חודש אדר, ימי שישי ושבת, אז בע"ה נתפלל ביחד בשילה הקדומה ביום ו', 12\02\2021 ב8:30 בבוקר.

In all the years I've been organizing Women's Rosh Chodesh Prayers at Tel Shiloh, this is the first year when two months in a row it rained Rosh Chodesh morning. Gd willing this is a good sign for the Land of Israel and the Jewish People.

Shiloh, One of Judaism's Holiest Sites

As time goes on, since we made the move to Shiloh thirty-eight 38 years ago, I've become more and more attached to its holiness. If you read the Tanach, Bible, you'll learn that it was the first capital/central city for the Jewish People. Shiloh is one of the locations Joshua leading the Jewish People was able to enter without a battle. The Canaanites had left.

According to the Biblical text, the Mishkan, Tabernacle was assembled on a flat area, where it remained for close to four hundred years. The Kohanim, Priests were in charge, and Jews arrived to pray, especially for the Jewish Holidays. Archeologists have found enormous jugs and the remains of food. The Bible relates how Elkana would come with his family, gathering others on the way. His barren wife, Hannah, went to the holy spot to pray for a son, whom she pledged to Gd would serve Him and the Jewish People. A son was born to them, Samuel the Prophet. Women have come to Shiloh to pray ever since.

For well over a decade I've been inviting women to join me praying together on Rosh Chodesh, the first of the Jewish Month to pray together. Next Rosh Chodesh will be Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, Tuesday October 29, 2019, 30th of Tishrei, 5780, 8:30am. We can't have our prayer group at the beginning of Tishrei, because it's Rosh Hashannah.

I know that many Jews go to pray at graves and tombs, but I feel that those places are extremely problematic. Gd has made it clear that we're not supposed to pray via dead people. That's why the location of Moshe, Moses's grave is unknown. Gd took him and his body. Also, unlike the theology of other religions, we're supposed to pray directly to Gd, not via an intermediary.

Women, unlike men, aren't required to pray with a minyan, quorum of ten or more. Please join us if you can. Our prayers are silent, except for the singing together of Hallel on Rosh Chodesh. For more information email shilohmuse@gmail.com, "Rosh Chodesh" as subject.

Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh has a special women's event a few days before Rosh Hashana, which they call "Tefilat Chana," "Hannah's Prayer." This year it will be Wednesday, September 25, 2019, 5pm, tours, music and Rabbanit Yemima Mizrachi as main speaker.

Wonderful Weather, Rain and Rosh Chodesh Prayers

It's winter here in the HolyLand, and if we don't get lots of rain in the winter, that's bad news. So, when we had three days of rain, I was happy.

Our sages tell us that weekend/Shabbat rains are the greatest gifts from Gd. It's a time we're not supposed to travel. We are lucky to live near the synagogue, so there's no inconvenience. As long as electricity works, and the heat is on, I'm not going to be tempted to complain.

This morning, when the sun showed its golden strength, not hidden by clouds and rain, everything was sparkling and clean. Leaves looked like emeralds, decorated by rubies, diamonds and other gems. The blue silk sky was exquisite as I walked down to Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh for our Women's Rosh Chodesh Prayers. Yes, Gd planned the dry sunny weather to coincide with our Rosh Chodesh Tevet prayers.

Next month is Shevat, and the Rosh Chodesh Women's Prayers at Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh, site of the Mishkan, Holy Tabernacle will be on the 1st of Shevat, 5779, Monday 7-01-2019, 8:30am.

כולן מוזמנות, תפילת נשים, ראש חודש שבט, א' טבת, יום ב' ,7/01/2019 , 8:30, בשילה הקדומה, תל שילה

We sing Hallel out loud, but the rest of the prayers are said silently and as individuals. There will be a tour of the Tel and Divrei Torah, Gd willing, in both Hebrew and English. If you'd like more information, please contact me shilohmuse@gmail.com with "Rosh Chodesh Prayers" as subject.

Shiloh Hakeduma, Ancient Shiloh is open six days a week. It's a recognized tourist and archaeological site. Contact them directly at visit@telshilo.org.il, 02-5789111.

Gd willing this winter will continue with frequent rainy periods, like we're having now. It should be for a blessing. And we must remember that a drought is a curse/punishment.
