Gaza War Musings #79 STRANGE Timing-- Very Suspicious-- Follow The Money

Am I the only one getting more and more curious and suspicious about how rapidly the anti-Israel pro-Intifada, "Death to the IDF" demonstrations took over the world after Israel was brutally and perversely attacked on October 7, 2023?

Who was behind it?

Follow the Money...

There wasn't a "simple" military attack on Israel. Well prepared and armed Gazan terrorists attacked innocent Israeli civilians and visitors. It was obvious that the Israeli victims were taken by surprise. They suffered murder, rape and even desecration of bodies, and the Arab terrorists, young and old, publicly bragged on social media of their perverse cruelty and enthusiastic killing. In some cases, they even took the cellphones of their victims to proudly publicize their crimes.

More than 1,400 Israelis, including Arabs, visitors and foreign workers were murdered in the most barbaric ways.

More than 5,500 people were wounded.

251 hostages were taken to Gaza strip. Govt info

How would you expect the world to react to such crimes?

How did the world react? Israel was condemned for existing. The posters and T-shirts seem to have already been printed for the demonstrators. There was nothing spontaneous in the condemnation of Israel.

Please think about it... As time goes on, I'm getting more and more suspicious. Foreign governments and NGOs had to have known in advance. Something stinks...

I'd like your opinion. Share to others, please.

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #68: Trump's Deals, Deja Vu 1960s "Give Peace a Chance"

I'm going to be very blunt. US President Donald Trump's "deals" with perverse, vicious, violent countries and especially terrorists remind me of the totally unrealistic, wacky 1960's slogan and Lennon-Ono song/philosophy Give Peace A Chance.

I thought it was stupid when all the rage in the time of the "hippies," and life in the past close to six decades has only reinforced my doubts.

Trump, Bibi Netanyahu and I are all about the same age. We came to age in the 1960s. I rejected the philosophic fads of the time adopting a Torah Observant life and Zionism. None of the popular philosophies attracted me. It didn't bother me that my fellow students in Great Neck North thought I was really strange. I thought they were. I'm not a follower, but most people are-- including the popular ones like Trump and Bibi... obviously. That's how it seems to me.

This post is short. I'm not wasting words. Vicious terrorist enemies must be defeated, destroyed. They won't change if you're nice to them; they'll just think you're a sucker.

What do you think, really think? Do you think that Trump's deals can bring peace?

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #63: Thankful That Avinatan Or and Other Hostages Free From Hamas Captivity

All photos here were taken by me, Batya Medad, nobody else.

You can see Avinatan Or, the tall one, in the back on the right.

As my readers know, I consider the "deal" very problematic. Bibi can't negotiate; he's too weak, woke and agreeable. He allowed other countries to represent us. Of course, I'm overjoyed that our totally innocent hostages, those still alive, were released by the Gazan Hamas terrorists, but they certainly didn't do it out of the goodness of their hearts. My theory about their agreeing will have to be explained in a later post.

Residents of Shiloh, plus Jews all over the area beyond happy at Avinatan's release. Authorities estimated that most of the hostages would need about two weeks of medical observation, tests, rest etc before being released home, so we were overjoyed to hear that barely a week after arriving in Israel, Avinatan would be allowed home.

Joyful supporters lined the roads for miles and miles, most of the route between the hospital and Shiloh. There were many stops where people cheered and he waved to the celebrants, so the trip back to Shiloh took hours and hours. In Shiloh we waited...

There were massive celebrations once they turned at the Shiloh Junction into Shiloh. Those of us waiting by the central square, near the Mishkan Tabernacle Synagogue, had been told that he'd be very soon, but we waited even longer. The family changed vehicles, so they entered Shiloh in an open one, so he could see his friends, and we could see him.

We all pray that he will enjoy good health and a wonderful life with his family and friends.

PS for those who are asking if his girlfriend Noa Argamani was there... I didn't see her.

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #56: VICTORY Prayer Haiku #3

Here in Israel we're just a few short weeks from two years since the heinous Gazan terror attack on thousands of innocent Israelis, men, women, children, infants and the elderly. The victims were tortured, murdered and kidnapped. They were raped, decapitated, incinerated and in many cases forced to watch their loved one suffer before they all died. The survivors and those who survived trying to rescue them are so emotionally scarred, their lives will never be the same.

This was a cruel immoral pogrom. In many cases the victims were the same people who had aided those very Gazans who attacked and guided terrorists to unarmed, undefended peace-beliving civilian homes.

So many words are being written about it, some based on truth and mercy and others on hatred and lies. I don't have the strength for long wordy arguments, explanations and personal prayers. That's why I like the simple haiku, just seventeen 17 syllables in three lines, 5, 7, 5. Here are a few more of my Morning Coffee Haikus. I hope they speak to you. They're posted most mornings on my Facebook page. I've posted two other haiku posts, 1 and 2; please click and enjoy.

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #55: Who's Whitewashing Gazan Civilian Attack of October 7, 2023?

What really happened on October 7, 2023?

On October 7, 2023 and for awhile afterwards there were lots of photos, videos/YouTubes and reports of Gazan civilians-- even those considered friends and had been employed by Israelis who unabashedly, enthusiastically guided the Hamas terrorists and joined in attacking, their na茂ve Israeli friends. These Gazan civilians knew their way around the kibbutzim and knew their victims. These terrorists, who didn't wear uniforms, proudly took pictures and videos of their cruel acts, sending them off to their families and the wider world via the internet. Some stole phones of the victims  and got perverse pleasure showing their "victories" to their victims' families and friends.

Strangely the articles I read about this in October, 2023 can't be found online. At least I couldn't find any, nor did anyone I asked on Facebook. One friend said that she had saved the links of the articles, but the links are as dead as the victims...

In my searches I found the report that the Israeli Government has on its site. That's what I screenshot above. Even Bibi's government is masking the true story. They give the impression that Israel was invaded by uniformed soldier terrorists, not a ragtag group of Gazans of all ages, uniformed and not. I guess the government wants to hide the fact that the IDF and civil defense were defeated by amateurs. Volunteers came from all over the country to defend the innocent Israeli citizens, from infants to the elderly, while the army waited for orders and transportation.

The cruelty of the Gazans was worse than what the Nazis had done. Nazis had herded Jews of all ages into buildings, and then gassed them dead. They didn't butcher, decapitate the Jewish victims like the Gazans, read this.

Now I can't find the articles. I asked on Facebook, and even people who had saved links, say that the links no longer function. Why has this happened? Why protect Gazans? Is this a conspiracy to rewrite history and invent the Myth of "Innocent Gazan Civilians?" If you have functioning links, please add them in the comments.

While hostages, Israeli citizens, still rot and starve, some alive and some long dead, as prisoners in Gaza, Bibi keeps sending food to Gaza. The Gazans don't need our food or any other aid. It's an agricultural area; they can grow what they need. They don't need medical supplies, when there are over two dozen hospitals there. It doesn't make us look moral or magnanimous; it makes us look guilty and foolish. The same must be said for Bibi's fokokt woke "moral" fighting. He warns Gazans to leave their homes before we bomb them. Duh!?! These are the terrorists and their supporters who've been cheering the deaths of our precious soldiers and the victims on October 7th. Coddling the enemy won't give us victory, and a "deal" won't give us peace.

Only a TOTAL VICTORY and resettling Gaza with Israelis will give us peace.

Israel Attacked by Hamas 2023/5784, War Musings #7 *Volunteers Needed to Sort Innocents from Terrorists

It may be a "sticky" job...

Israel is under a lot of pressure not to harm "innocent civilians" sic in Gaza, so our government has been sending warnings before bombing. Personally, I think it's a dumb and wasteful way to run a war. Can we really trust the Gazans to sort themselves out accurately?

The Gazan terrorists may be immoral, perverse and cruel, but it doesn't look like they're stupid. Some terrorists may not want to die, and then they may escape with the innocent civilians leaving empty buildings and then wasting our precious bombs.

Another problem, which some news/Arab experts have alluded to is that the terrorists are abandoning the innocent or non-terrorists in the buildings while they leave and enjoy all the "treats" the world has been sending them.

Because of all the above, I hope that those who really care about making sure that innocent sic Gazans are saved and the terrorists are targeted will be responsible for sorting them out. If not, they only have themselves to blame.

*satire, though I wish that those who worry so much about the possible "innocent civilians" in Gaza would go there and sort everything out.

The D茅j脿 Vu War- Let's Destroy The Terrorists So There Won't Be D茅j脿 Vu 2

Israel's security is like a broken record. We keep having the same sort of crises, or wars, or whatever you want to call them. Of course the government doesn't call it a "war," since a war would not only require real fighting, but there's certain expenses and compensations that people must receive during wars, while "operations" or whatever euphemisms are chose cost the government less.

So far, I don't think the government has come up with a "snappy" marketing name for this one. Since Israel's citizens, especially those in the south of the country, have been suffering through these massive military terror attacks but the government never calls it a war every year or so I'll just refer to it as "The D茅j脿 Vu War."

It's a vicious cycle. Israeli citizens are ordered to "shelters" and told to wait it out. How long should they wait it out? Until there's quiet aka until the Gazan terrorists use up all their missiles.
"Don't worry," our suffering citizens are told by the Israeli Government. "The Iron Dome prevents most missiles from hitting you. Statistics are in your favor."
I think the Gazan terrorists aimed about a thousand deadly missiles at Israel during the last Don't Call It a War.

Periodically, Israeli "forces" succeed in a movie-worthy attack on the Gazans, or more accurately a Gazan "command center," missile launcher or terror leader. But our government wouldn't dare destroy Gaza.
"What would the world say?"
Yes, I'm angry. Just because my house isn't under attack doesn't mean I don't care. My country and fellow citizens are under attack, and our government isn't protecting us. The only real protection would be to destroy the Gazan terror base, the entire enclave.

Following are pictures and videos sent to me by Gedalia Bloom. I'm using them with his permission.

When Terrorists are The Enemy, Pussyfooting Doesn't Help

You don't need to understand Hebrew all that well to see what's on the map. The red things represent the missiles fired by the Gazan terrorists. There are basically two targeted areas, Israel's south and up the coast until almost Tel Aviv.

Tel Aviv is on the coast at almost the top of this map. And if you'd like to know where Shiloh is, just look to the east (right) of Tel Aviv, while your finger is moving north (up) from Jerusalem. That should give a pretty good approximation.

The history of Israel's wars have three highlighted as great miraculous victories. They are the 1948-9 War of Independence, the 1967 Six Days War and the 1973 Yom Kippur War. The first two wars were fought by Israel totally alone. We just did what we had to do, and Gd helped us to win.

The War for Israeli Independence, the ragtag army of sabras, newly arrived refugees, foreign volunteers and almost no weapons knew that had no choice other than to win. So they just kept on fighting. By the time there was a ceasefire, the State of Israel had begun to function, and the Jewish State was reborn. And without thinking twice, new immigrants were sent to live in the buildings abandoned by the Arabs who had fled. Mansions were renovated into small apartment houses, and villages kibbutz fields and orchards.

Actually, in 1967, when it was clear that the Arabs were going to attack, we surprised them by shooting first. And that's why we won, against all odds in just six days. The importance of taking the initiative was because in order to win we had to destroy the enemy air force and break them psychologically.  We succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. Nobody in the government or IDF expected not only such a rapid victictory, but nobody thought or planned for us to liberate all the Land from the Golan to the Suez Canal and eastward to the Jordan River. Once we got started, Gd took over. But instead of encouraging, or at least allowing Jews to settle in the Biblical Heartland liberated in the war, most of the Land was held for Arabs in a mistaken belief that they'd be happy to accept it "back" in exchange for peace with us.

The 1973 Yom Kippur War was a bit more complicated. Israel was taken by surprise and accepted help and advice from the Americans. That "advice" almost caused our defeat and the end of the State of Israel. We finally defeated Syria and Egypt, even liberated more Land but quickly "gave it back" in exchange for nothing.

Now the Israel Government has gone from bad to worse. Gaza has been attacking Israel for well over a decade. Their rockets are getting bigger and go further. Instead of bombing and destroying the Arab Gazan terrorists, successive Israeli Governments just keep pussyfooting around by sending warning letters, bombing empty buildings and then during periodic "ceasefires," we pay the terrorists enough money, so they have oodles to spend on war, weapons to attack us.

It's time for the State of Israel to act like a truly independent proud country. We have to flatten, destroy our enemy completely. And yes, civilians, too. Today's wars aren't like field games where the armies fight far from civilian centers. The Gazan terrorists have their rocket launching pads within residential areas, schools and hospitals. To protect the State of Israel and all its citizens, the IDF must attack without trying to protect the enemy civilians. Protecting Israeli civilians is supposed to be the priority.  It's time to fight like we mean to win, Gd willing.
