US VP Biden's Crooked Tunnel Vision

No surprise, but I'm really annoyed at the very selective condemnations of Arab terror coming out of American officials:
Biden condemns Jaffa terror attack upon arrival in Israel
At meeting with Peres a short distance from the stabbing, visiting US vice president expresses sorrow over death of American tourist murdered in the attack.

Now, someone truly against terror in general aka a truly morally honest person, would condemn all of the Arab terror attacks against Jews, but it's obvious that the American Government, from POTUS Obama on down have no problem in principle with Arab attacking innocent Jews. They see them as noble "freedom fighters." And extreme Leftist Peres, so enamored with the attentions of the American Vice President, didn't think of asking Biden why he hadn't condemned all of the Arab terrorists who had been so busy attacking Jews on Tuesday to celebrate the visit.

Tuesday was one of those awful bloody days in which Arab terrorists went hyper keeping newshounds on the run from terror attack to terror attack.

When will Americans, and Europeans, international faux moralists and Israeli Leftists stop fantasizing that Abbas is a moderate capable of "making peace" sic with Israel?
Abbas’ Fatah Praises ‘Heroic Martyr’ Who Murdered U.S. Veteran

(CNSNews.com) – Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah organization on Wednesday praised as a “heroic martyr” the killer of West Point graduate and U.S. Army veteran Taylor Force, according to an Israel-based media monitoring group.
On its Facebook page, Fatah posted a sketch of a man’s hand holding a knife over a map of “Palestine,” Palestinian Media Watch reported. Across the map is written “Bashar Masalha,” the name of the 22 year-old Palestinian who stabbed Force and 11 others in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area on Tuesday.
Written on the arm of the person holding the knife in the sketch are the words, “the heroic martyr.”
They willfully misjudge him. The reason is simple. They really want the State of Israel to be destroyed. There can be no other reason. Abbas's Fatah has always been clear about its ultimate aim. I have no patience whatsoever for anyone in the world, especially Israelis and Jews who insist on lying to themselves about the true and unhidden agenda of the Arabs.

Arab Leaders and "Fellow Travelers" Support Terror

I sincerely pray for a refuah shleimah, a full and speedy recovery, to all of the injured in yesterday's Arab terror attack against Jews in Jerusalem. Special prayers for the toddler whose leg was seriously damaged, Yotam Shmuel ben Yael.

Maybe this is deja vu time again, like in the early, mid-1930's when "good" sic people all over the world closed their eyes to the rising antisemitism and systemized murder of Jews in Nazi Germany. All this acceptance and agreement and cooperation with the BDS and the support of Fatah and Hamas and the Arab terror against innocent Israelis bodes bad news for world peace.

American Secretary of State John Kerry is threatening Israel again, claiming that we are the cause of the "impasse" and lack of peace here.
Secretary of State John Kerry
Reuters
Kerry told the magazine that he believes that Israelis headed toward becoming a “unitary state that is an impossible entity to manage” and warned that such a reality would lead to Israel becoming like a “big fortress” and strengthen groups like Hezbollah. (Arutz 7)
Of course he totally leaves out the fact that his buddies in Ramalla support and justify the terror against Israelis, civilians and patrolling soldiers.
Two-thirds of Palestinians support knife attacks: poll

Abbas: Palestinian violence is "justified popular uprising"
Considering all that, how can we expect a "State of Palestine" sic to be a good neighbor to the State of Israel?

The safest place in the Middle East, even especially for Arabs is Israel. There is less violence, better police, the best medical care and social benefits. Whenever the "land trading" idea is raised, Israeli Arabs throw fits, because the very last thing they want to do is to live under an Arab government.

We, Israel have a job to do, and that is to annex all of the Land we hold, full sovereignty in all of the Jordan Valley, Judea, Samaria and the Golan. Make it clear that we are no longer interested in negotiations. There is nothing to negotiate about. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu must apologize to the Israeli public for his support for a "two state solution" meaning a Palestinian state! He must admit that he had been wrong about it. That's the sign of a true Jewish Leader. Like in the Bible when Judah admitted that Tamar was the righteous one, and he had been wrong, which made their descendants into the most suitable to be King, yes David.

Enough with weak politicians running the country. We need true Jewish Leaders!!!

Bibi Continues to Support Negotiations for Israel's Destruction

For me it's as simple as
1 + 2 = 3
or
X + Y = Z
That's because...

X = PM Netanyahu: "I remain committed to a solution of two states for two peoples..."
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is determined to negotiate with the P.A. Palestinian Authority, headed by Fatah, to establish a Palestinian sic State.

Y = PA Palestinian Authority school message: "Palestine" will replace Israel.

Wall painting at PA Ministry of Education's Al-Karameh school in the West Bank
Palestinian flag over Israel denotes Palestinian political sovereignty
Text: "On this land is something worth living for" [Official PA TV, June 2, 2015] (PMW)

It's very clear that since the aim of the P.A. Palestinian Authority is the destruction of the State of Israel, G-d forbid, then...
Z = The destruction of the State of Israel
There will be no peace with a Palestinian State. Netanyahu's conditions will be watered down by massive international pressure, either with him at the helm or a more Leftist Prime Minister. Every time Netanyahu proclaims that the Palestinians sic deserve a state, he's nailing nails into our coffin. He's supporting and facilitating terrorism and destruction.

I'm a pragmatist plain and simple. Our enemies aren't lying. They aren't embarrassed to broadcast their aims. We must listen and take steps.

  • Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu must admit that his policy is faulty and reverse it!
  • The State of Israel must declare full sovereignty in all of the Land we now hold and administer including Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley and the Golan.

Neighboring Arab Countries in Violent Turmoil

As most newscasts should show, there is an awful lot of violence and fighting going on in neighboring Arab countries.
Thirteen of the strikes were near the Iraqi cities of Ramadi, Baghdadi, Bayji, Fallujah, Makhmur, Mosul, Sinjar and Tal Afar. (Jerusalem Post)

Theological Questions

In all honesty, I can't keep track. And watching one of the international news channels, I caught a clip about one of the "armies" in which they explained that although that group had originally been anti-American, something in their position/policy recently changed, and now they are overjoyed to be getting support, training and weapons from the USA. I have no doubt that within a short period of time, things will change again and they'll use their new-found knowledge against the USA and western allies, just like in the movie The Siege.

The only alliance that seems to be holding is between Hamas and Fatah which proves that the claim that Fatah is moderate as totally false.

Right From Wrong: Happy first Fatah- Hamas anniversary!
by Ruthie Blum
It has been a year since the swearing-in of the national unity government of Fatah and Hamas, agreed upon by the warring Palestinian factions two months earlier. At the time, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his displeasure with the merger. He said it showed that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had chosen terrorism over peace.
Since Abbas has never opted for the latter – rejecting all direct Israeli overtures and those brokered by the United States – the Israeli leader’s words rang hollow. But they were made necessary by the conventional myth that something resembling a “peace process” had been going on between Israel and the Palestinians for more than two decades. It was this “peace process” that led to the signing of the Oslo Accords, which have done nothing but perpetuate war.
Nevertheless, the lie lives on, as does the lip service enlisted in its embellishment...(Jerusalem Post)

"Moderate sic Fatah?" Another in My Myth-Breaking Series

As of late, I've been writing a lot of what could be called a Myth-Breaking Series of posts. I've taken on subjects and issues which are highly misunderstood and distorted by most, like Jewish Morality and Apartheid.

Is there any real difference between Fatah and Hamas, which is recognized by many as a terrorist organization? That is a funny phrase, terrorist organization, as if they just do lectures and luncheons. Arab terrorists whether Hamas, Fatah or "unaffiliated" murder and maim Jews. They are the antithesis of "peace partners," and must be recognized as such.

Fatah only agrees to negotiate with Israel in order to destroy Israel by strengthening its corrupt and violent rule. The violence is not only against Jews. Ordinary Arabs suffer on a daily basis. Life under P.A. Palestinian Authority rule is awful. That's why many Arabs do all they can to get work in Jewish businesses and communities. Giving the Arabs more independence and autonomy will only make their leadership, like Mahmoud Abbas crueler and more dictatorial.

Read the latest from Palestinian Media Watch:
Abbas' Fatah wants to destroy Israel:
"What was taken by force can only be regained by force"

Rifle and map including all of Israel on Fatah's Facebook page
by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

On the occasion of Palestinian Nakba day - the day Palestinians commemorate "the catastrophe" of the establishment of the State of Israel - Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement posted a drawing on Facebook that encouraged the use of violence to destroy Israel. "What was taken by force can only be regained by force, the 67th anniversary of the Nakba"[Facebook, "Fatah - The Main Page," May 14, 2015] This statement appeared on an image showing the number 67 in Arabic numerals with the digit 7 made of a key, a rifle, and a map that includes the PA areas as well as all of Israel. Fatah often reiterates its support for the use of violence and arms to gain statehood  as Palestinian Media Watch has documented...

Why I Don't Vote Likud: Bibi's Support of Palestinian State

REUTERS/ATEF SAFADI/POOL
This shouldn't really surprise anyone who has been following the news here in Israel, especially when it comes to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. He has stated repeatedly, over and over in all sorts of forums that he thinks the so-called "Palestinians" sic deserve a state aka supports the "two state solution."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu renewed his commitment on Wednesday to a two-state solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, after backtracking on that pledge during a heated campaign for a March election.
Speaking as he met with European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini on her first visit to the region, and a week after his new government took office, Netanyahu said:
"We want a peace that would end the conflict once and for all ... I don't support a one-state solution, I don't believe that's a solution at all, I support the vision of two states for two peoples." (Reuters)

Times of Israel
Netanyahu fudged, liked a tricky lawyer or used-car salesman, during the recent election campaign which shouldn't surprise anyone. He desperately wanted votes from the Right. That's also why he drafted Benny Begin to his list, promising him a vague cabinet position that wouldn't be too stressful.

No surprise to me, but terribly unfortunately, too many voters from the Right who, davka, oppose giving the Arab terrorists-Fatah and Hamas- a state fell for Bibi's scam that he would protect us from a new state in our Biblical heartland, which overlooks Tel Aviv, Netanya etc.

commons.wikimedia.org

A simple look at recent (post 1967 Six Days War) Israel shows that all policy decisions to destroy Jewish cities and communities stem from Likud governments. Binyamin Netanyahu is no more a Land of Israel patriot than were Menachem Begin or Ariel Sharon. Begin's (father of Benny) Camp David Accords which not only ceded the Sinai to Egypt but established the policy of Arab autonomy alienated me from the Likud. Even though there are some very reliable Right MKs, they do not have the authority to impose policy. They are no more than "window-dressing."

I pray that not only will G-d bless our government leaders with wisdom, but He must also bless the ordinary voter with the ability to choose the best political party to lead our precious State of Israel out of this mess.

Those who Support Arab Terror are Also Guilty

Right now there's a trial going on in New York against Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority for its role in deadly Arab terrorism in Israel. Neighbors of mine have flown to New York to give testimony of the serious injuries caused by the Arab terrorists at the trial. Stressing the bad permanent results goes against their nature. They are the type who looks for the good in every situation.

Shiloh residents suffered greatly from Arab terrorism. A number of our children (and a granddaughter) were murdered and maimed. There's no way to be "compensated" for such losses.

Bus bombed in 2004 suicide attack
Arutz Sheva news photo: Flash 90

It's a terrible distortive and incorrect "myth" that Abbas's Fatah and the Palestinian Authority are "moderate."

Dalal Mughrabi, the terrorist who led the most lethal attack against Israel, in which 37 people were murdered in 1978, was born in January and her date of birth has been celebrated and honorably noted by Abbas' Fatah movement and others.
Awdah TV, whose General Supervisor is Fatah's spokesman Ahmad Assaf, broadcast at length from a party celebrating the terrorist's birthday. Fatah's logo was displayed on stage.
"Martyr Dalal Mughrabi raised the Palestinian flag from the heart of occupied Palestine," stated the Awdah reporter. "On her birthday we renew the promise to her and its fulfillment. Martyr Dalal Mughrabi will remain a path for the next generations to follow." [Fatah-run Awdah TV and Awdah TV Facebook,
Jan. 3, 2015] (PMW)
And just like the Arab Bank Plc was convicted of complicity in Arab terrorism, all of the NGO's, international leaders, media and academics who support Fatah and the P.A. should be held responsible for Arab terrorism.

Proof's in The Picture, France Will Only Get More Dangerous

Netanyahu and Abbas at rally.
Reuters
The simple fact that France encouraged the pro-Arab Muslim terrorist Mahmoud Abbas to attend the so-called anti-terrorism rally is proof that things will only get worse in France.  Seeing him placed in the front, along with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is so outrageous and hypocritical, that even I cannot find decent words to use in response.

All I can say is that the invitation and place of honor that France bestowed on the pro-terrorist Abbas is even more outrageous than its sending unarmed police to guard the Charlie Hebdo offices from terrorists.

This is all further proof that Jews and the State of Israel can rely on no human ally. Only G-d and pure faith and adherence to G-d can save us.

Is Gaza Part of the P.A. Palestinian Authority?

Many people and countries have been trying to distinguish between Fatah and Hamas, Gaza and the P.A., Khaled Mashal/Ismail Haniya and Abbas, Arab Muslim terror and peaceful Islam sic etc. But it really seems that they are all sides of the same coin as the cliche goes.

This morning there's an interesting article on the complaints of Gaza in the Jerusalem Post:
Hamas accuses PA of neglecting Gaza Strip
Hamas officials on Thursday accused the Palestinian Authority government of turning its back on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and called for rescinding the last reconciliation agreement between the two parties.
Hamas’s fury came in response to the PA government’s announcement that it would not pay salaries to civil servants employed by Hamas since it took control over the Gaza Strip in 2007.
The government said it would not be able to fulfill its responsibilities toward the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip unless it’s allowed to regain full control over the area
It makes me wonder... And also, it's already 2015, and Hamas has been ruling there, even according to the article since 2007. So, nu, why this complaint now? Have all these international bodies been supporting the unabashedly terrorist Hamas all this time?

Shilling for Islamic Terrorists

A few months ago I attended a riveting information seminar organized by David Bedein of Israel Resource Review/Israel Behind the News. One of the speakers was Bassam Eid of Activists for Human Rights in the Palestinian Authority, an Arab who made it very clear that the Arabs of Ramalla and the Arabs of Gaza are not of the same culture and society, certainly not the same people. His words constantly come to my mind when I see articles like this one in the Jerusalem Post.

Think about it...

The Talking of Intifada 1 2 3

Yes, the title barely makes sense, since it's a take on the movie title "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3."
Armed men hijack a New York City subway train, holding the passengers hostage in return for a ransom, and turning an ordinary day's work for dispatcher Walter Garber into a face-off with the mastermind behind the crime.
Honestly, I never quite understood the numbering of the intifada aka Arab terrorism which has plagued Israel for decades, even before the establishment of the State of Israel.

A simple reading of Modern History of Jewish Life in the Land of Israel, let's take it from the 19th century onward will show that there has always been terror attacks against Jews. And I have no doubts that similar types of attacks also happened in earlier centuries, just like antisemitic attacks happen today to Jews all over the world. It's just that about thirty years ago (sorry but don't have the time to check with Professor Google for an exact date) someone began calling the rock attacks on Jewish vehicles, which was happening a lot, "intifada." But there had been similar attacks on our roads before then.

Granted, they do happen in waves. Car owners in Judea and Samaria can get government paid reinforced windows for their cars that won't shatter if hit by rocks. This safety service has been available for years. There have been times of relative quiet, when the special windows weren't free or only free in some areas. Prior to that people used to paste clear plastic to reinforce the windows to keep the glass from injuring passengers. This was also used on the buses.  And before that there were many more injuries. Local doctors became adept at removing tiny pieces of glass from eyes with adhesive tape. One of my children had to endure that after a rock attack on the way home late one night.  The following morning I took her to a Jerusalem eye doctor and met neighbors there for the same type of injury.

The reason I don't like this numbered labeling of "intifadas 1 2 3" is that I have absolutely no memory of the Arab terrorists ever announcing that they ended terrorism. To me this is a long, ongoing situation that must be destroyed at its source.

  • Everyone, Israelis and foreigners alike, who find excuses to rationalize the terror attacks must be convicted of incitement against public order. There is no excuse for the justification of murder.
  • All Arab terrorists, whether they succeeded in killing or injuring Israelis or not, must be executed, either on the spot instead of being captured, tried and imprisoned. It would be better than arresting them. They should be given immediate death penalty, no appeal allowed.
  • The homes of the terrorists must be destroyed and their families must be forced to leave the country and not allowed to return.

Nov. 5, 2014: An Israeli fire fighter walks at the scene of an attack in Jerusalem. A Palestinian man rammed his car into a crowded train platform in east Jerusalem on Wednesday and then attacked people with an iron bar, killing one person and injuring 13 in what authorities called a terror attack before he was shot dead by the police. The militant Islamic group Hamas took responsibility for the attack. (AP)

Anyone who thinks this terrorism can be restricted to Jews in the HolyLand are seriously delusional. First of all, and not for the first time, the Israeli killed by yesterday's Arab terrorist in Jerusalem was a Druse, not a Jew. And Dry Bones recent cartoon puts the message that Hamas Arab terrorism is spreading perfectly:

The USA is Not A Friend/Ally of Israel and Dangers of a "Palestine"

Israelis (and Jews in general) hate to accept certain truths. Pretty much every Holocaust book, whether memoir or history tells how the news, rumors, reports of massive killings were received by those in relative safety, whether just days from being forcibly moved or murdered themselves or on safer shores.

People refused to believe it. The idea that perfectly innocent Jews had been herded together, shot and killed, or carefully sorted with the lucky ones being forced to join slave labor camps and the weaker ones being systematically and efficiently "eliminated."

It's a simple matter of "projection." Since we would never do such a thing to others, we can't believe that they are capable of doing it to us.

That is probably one of the main reasons that Israelis are having such a difficult time accepting that the United States of America is an enemy of Israel. Yes, even those who do understand that U.S. President Barack, Hussein Obama can't abide our Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, are under the false impression that push comes to shove, the USA is Israel's best friend.

Unlike many Jews, I'm not comforted by the fact that there are large, well-endowed Holocaust museums in the United States and other foreign countries. I find those museums to be like one of the trickster's fast moving cup/shell tricks.

If they cry enough crocodile tears, most Jews and Israelis think they care about us, but it's no different from any other con, trick. It distracts us, or most of us, from what they are really doing.

The American Government is facilitating the strengthening of the Arab terrorists, whom they constantly refer to a "moderates," "peace partners" and "Palestinians," and the delegitimization of Israeli sovereignty. By referring to Jerusalem neighborhoods as "settlements" and refusing to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's Capital City, the United States is acting as an enemy of the State of Israel.

The simple fact that the United States, while claiming to be mediators, is doing its best to dictate to the State of Israel what final solution/end to the so-called "negotiations" with the Arabs should be is a clear indication of their lying and blatant hypocrisy.

U.S. President Obama has made it clear numerous times that he wants to facilitate the establishment of an Arab "Palestinian state." He considers Israel an "occupier" and firmly believes that there had been an Arab country called "Palestine" here before the establishment of the State of Israel.

There is an additional, even more serious problem, and that is the fact that the Israeli Left and Center believe and promote that there should be a separate "Palestinian state" in the heartland of the Land of Israel. They rationalize that Israeli Jews would be safer if borders were drawn that would reduce the amount of Arabs in the State of Israel, as if by drawing those borders the Arabs would disappear or at least be demilitarized and neutralized. That's as realistic as when an infant panics when the mother hides her face behind a blanket.

The Arabs, the P.A. Palestinian Authority, Fatah, Hamas etc are unabashedly public about their aim to destroy the State of Israel. That's the ideology they teach their children.
In this new game, players have to “get rid of the Israeli settlements, buy weapons and to implement prisoner exchanges,” as explained in Hamas’ Falesteen newspaper. The game teaches players that negotiations “can never bring to any positive result” and that “the language ofweapons is the most effective with the Israelis,” according to one of the game’s developers.Liberation of Palestine Video Game

The game is also meant to “strengthen the national culture and plant desire for the liberation of Palestine in the hearts of the players, especially children,” according to Falesteen. In other words, the game is meant to inculcate the idea that Israel should not exist. Karam Hussein, one of the game’s developers, stated in an interview for “Arabic Sky News” that “the idea is to develop the spirit of resistance among Palestinian boys and girls.”

Remember that while the United States  misses no opportunity to condemn building in Jerusalem for Jews, it doesn't bother with the violence being taught to Arab children. Obviously that does not bother them at all.

If Fatah's Abbas is Moderate, then...

Please complete this line:
If Fatah's Abbas is Moderate, then...
Reuters
Considering that not only European countries, the United Nations, the USA and even most Israeli politicians tout Fatah head Mahmoud Abbas as a "moderate," we should listen carefully to what he's saying about Israel, "peace," etc.
On Friday, Mahmoud Abbas said that without a “firm timetable” in place to end the Israeli presence in Gaza and the West Bank, there’s no value in continuing peace talks. (Jerusalem Post)
And here's from Reuters:
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said in a statement that Abbas' speech made clear that the Palestinian president does not "want and cannot be a partner for any logical diplomatic solution."
"It isn't for nothing that Abu Mazen is in a joint government with Hamas, Abu Mazen complements Hamas with his political terrorism and storytelling against Israel," said Lieberman, referring to Abbas by his nickname.
Abbas said on Friday it was "impossible" to return to a cycle of negotiations with no substance.
"There is no meaning or value in negotiations for which the agreed objective is not ending the Israeli occupation and achieving the independence of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital on the entire Palestinian Territory occupied in the 1967 war," Abbas said.
"There is no value in negotiations which are not linked to a firm timetable for the implementation of this goal," he said.

It was an awful mistake for Israel to have agreed to negotiate for a "Palestinian State." It had been clear to me from the start that we would end up in a dilemma like this. We, the State of Israel, created this monster and destroying it will be difficult and painful.

Abbas has no plans to share any land or guarantee Israel's security and continued existance. And for sure there aren't any foreign powers that care more for Israeli security than creating a new Arab country called Palestine.

From Abbas's PA TV:
Islam-based hate speech on PA TV:Jews are "most evil among creations,""barbaric apes, wretched pigs"

We must stop dreaming and take difficult and unpopular steps to cease all negotiations and rescind the "two state solution."

Bibi, Connect the Dots! If Hamas is Like ISIS, Then Fatah is, Too!

I totally agree with our Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's words about the connection of Hamas to ISIS (Islamic State.) What I don't understand is the fact that Bibi refuses to connect the dots and admit that his erstwhile "peace-partner," Fatah is allied with Hamas, therefore also the same as ISIS.

This has me very seriously, yes, totally worried.

PM Netanyahu addresses
International Conference on
Counter-Terrorism

There's nothing like Netanyahu's speeches, well crafted, powerfully delivered to express whatever message he thinks is most important. He is a writer and performer par excellence, among the best of all international political/diplomatic personalities of today. Unlike other international leaders he doesn't need a staff of acting and speech coaches and discreet teleprompters to perform convincingly.

Unfortunately I find his gifts wasted, because instead of promoting the unvarnished and often unpleasant and definitely not "PC," politically correct, truth, he has crafted himself as a "Centrist leader."

The Jewish Independent
designed for
Shiloh Musings by
Esser Agaroth
IMHO, the label "Centrist leader" is an oxymoron. From the center you can't lead. From the center you are surrounded by people who have more guts and stronger opinions. A leader takes the lead and goes forward in a firm determined line to your goal, demolishing enemies and obstacles on the way. It's physically impossible to do that as a Centrist.

I don't know what sports Bibi played as a youth. American football is good training for political leadership. To score a touchdown, the player must hold the ball tightly and get through the opposing team's players who are trying to tackle and steal the ball. That's real life. There's no 3 point basket from the center of the court as in basketball.

Israel needs a true leader, one who isn't afraid to run through fire and condemnation to score a touchdown.

The Dangers of Rebuilding Gaza

Reuters has an article up claiming that to rebuild Gaza it will cost $7.8 billion.
(Reuters) - Rebuilding Gaza will cost $7.8 billion, the Palestinian Authority said on Thursday, in the most comprehensive assessment yet of damage from a seven-week war with Israel during which whole neighborhoods and vital infrastructure were flattened.
I just think of the tons and tons and tons of cement Israel had so blithely allowed into Gaza these past few years, which the Gazan had used to construct advanced, sophisticated tunnels from all the way into Jewish communities. These tunnels have been used for kidnapping and terror attacks. This has been going on for years. Gilad Schalit was taken away by tunnel, which is why he couldn't be found.

CREDIT: REUTERS/SUHAIB SALEM
During the "war," loony Leftists on Israeli TV fantasized about a "Marshall Plan" for Gaza that we would offer, so the Gazans would be as grateful to Israel as the West Germans were to the USA after World War Two.

Of course, nobody bothered to remind them what happened to the potentially money-making "Gush Katif" style hot-houses that had been bought for them after Disengagement to enable them to establish a high-tech agriculture industry. The Gazans, even those who for years had worked for Jewish farmers and knew perfectly well how to farm in the same advanced, money-making way couldn't be bothered to establish businesses. The main Gazan business is terrorism.

Accuracy and truth aren't high in the aims of the press and NGO's that report about Gaza. Due to the photography techniques I've been learning as part of 52Frames, I have no doubt that the Reuters picture in this post was doctored, just like the changes I made to the following photo:

After:

Before:

The descriptions of the damage are also highly exaggerated:
"The attack on Gaza this time had no precedent, Gaza has been hit with a catastrophe and it needs immediate help because many things can't wait long," Mohammed Shtayyeh, a Palestinian economist and a senior member of the West Bank's dominant Fatah* party, told reporters in Ramallah.
Besides the American atomic bombs on Japan, the Germans damaged London more seriously and the allies certainly destroyed a lot more of Nazi Europe during WWII than Israel did to Gaza.

BBC History
Photo: Winston Churchill inspecting bomb damage in Battersea, South London, 10 September 1940. (Getty Images)

But facts aren't necessary for those reporting on Israel and her enemies.

In all honesty, and what I'm going to say is definitely not "pc," politically correct, as far as I'm concerned, Gaza should remain as unlivable as possible. UNRWA should be closed down. Let people escape to any country other than Israel. The United Nations, Europe, the NGOs etc. must stop supporting them. There never was a country called Gaza. Their "independence" and self-governing is a new modern and terribly dangerous phenomenon.

Without the massive foreign funding Gaza will lose its punch. That must be the aim. Rebuilding Gaza will just increase terrorism and be the wrong lesson to ISIS.

*Please note that the spokesperson is from the so-called moderate Fatah and not from Hamas.

ISIS = Hamas = Fatah = Naziism = Threat to World Peace, and The World We Know Today

ISIS = Hamas = Fatah

That's the simple equation. It's very simple arithmetic. And that means that if you let Fatah survive and thrive you will still have the threat of ISIS which has been bragging about executing innocent western journalists.

But international movers and shakers, the United Nations, Europe, The United States and even Israel have no compunctions about branding Fatah as moderate. Do I know something they don't? Honestly, I don't think so. They must know what is in all the news media that Fatah and Hamas are allied together. It's no secret. The big questions are:
Why isn't the "free world" taking the alliance of Fatah and Hamas seriously?
Why is the "free world" willing to accept and promote terror organizations which attack Israel?
If you see smoke and flames coming out of your car engine, wouldn't you quickly jump out of the car?

Why does everyone, including many Israelis insist that we find a way to "make peace" with the same Arabs who want to destroy us? Why do they keep on ignoring the publicly stated aims of Fatah/Hamas?

We should add the PLO to the equation, because it, too, is part of the terrorists' deception.
Abbas' Presidential decree changesPA Ministry of Prisoners' Affairsto PLO Authority of Prisoners' Affairs Now the PA won't be using US and EU money directlyto pay salaries to terrorist prisoners, but will use US and EU money indirectly to pay terrorist prisoners, by channeling it through the PLO
All Arab terrorists organizations are the same. Whether Fatah, ISIS, Hamas or the PLO, they are brutal terrorists aiming to take over the world. The ISIS murders and beheadings are only a preview of what they have planned for the world.

Next Stop Europe

It won't placate any of them to be given Israel. It will only increase their appetite and confidence.

I look at the "Never again" lesson from the Holocaust as how the world, even many Jews, ignored all of the early steps the Nazis took against the German Jewish population. It was no secret that Jews were suddenly forbidden to study in certain schools, work in certain places and even sit on certain benches. This "discrimination" quickly escalated to murder in the streets and being forced into ghettos and then concentration aka death camps.

FDR didn't protest that it was immoral to discriminate against, segregate and then murder Jews. And I consider Obama's condemnation of Jewish building in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as directly connected to FDR's tacit support of the Nazis.

Remember that American Government's Isolationism prevented him from defending Europe from the Nazi invasion until it considered the United States in danger.
As tensions rose in Europe over Nazi Germany’s aggressive maneuvers, Congress pushed through a series of Neutrality Acts, which served to prevent American ships and citizens from becoming entangled in outside conflicts.
Remember that the world is enamored with the PLO and Fatah. The so-called "free world" dreams of establishing a Palestinian State. And if that new Arab state attacks and invades Israel and is set to destroy it, nobody will care.  We shouldn't expect anyone to rescue us. They will be too busy defending themselves from ISIS.

Faux Peace and Deceptive Euphemisms Won't Stop a Real War

We're being suckered again! This latest ad nauseum ceasefire will not lead to true peace or a safer Israel. Aspirin is useless against cancer, too.

There is absolutely nothing in this latest ceasefire and proposed deal that is good for Israel.
The following statement by Secretary of State John Kerry has NOTHING CLOSE TO THE EU call.
Mr. Kerry talks of reconstruction but “peace and security, without terrorist attacks, without rockets, without tunnels” is relegated to “the next phase”…”future of the region”…”long term solution for Gaza”.  (IMRA's Dr. Aaron Lerner, Israel Behind the News)We strongly support today’s cease-fire agreement, and call on all parties to fully and completely comply with its terms. We hope very much that this cease-fire will prove to be durable and sustainable, that it will put an end to rocket and mortar attacks, and that it will help to bring about an enduring end to the conflict in Gaza.
As soon as calm is restored, the delivery of urgently needed humanitarian assistance to the people in Gaza must be accelerated, and the United States and the international community are fully committed to supporting this effort. We are also prepared to work with our international partners on a major reconstruction initiative, with appropriate measures in place to ensure that this is for the benefit of the civilian population in Gaza, not Hamas and other terrorist organizations. We look forward to coordinating closely with President Abbas and the Palestinian Authority on these critical efforts... (U.S. Press statement)
There is absolutely nothing for Israel's security in this American document. The opening paragraph states the U.S.'s priorities and understanding of what has been happening all summer. The fact that this Arab Hamas anti-Israel terror campaign of rocket and mortar attacks which have killed Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers is called "the conflict in Gaza" makes it super clear that according to Obama and Kerry, we Israelis are at fault. For that alone, Israel should have ripped the papers and walked out.

I'm far from the front-lines or targeted areas here in Shiloh, but I know that with every "ceasefire" the terrorists improve their deadly weaponry and targeting accuracy and distance. One doesn't need to be a top general or security expert to understand that the Hamas Arab terrorists based in Gaza and fully supported by their Fatah allies in Ramalla are out to destroy, decimate the State of Israel and murder all of us Israeli Jews and any Arab they think has supported us. Making any sort of "deal" with them is only going to endanger Israel even more.

Yesterday, as Shiloh's Chief Rabbi Elchanan Bin-Nun finished his talk he left us with what he considers to be an important message. The misreading of the pre-Yom Kippur 1973 situation and our lack of preparedness caused many Israelis to lose faith in the government. That was forty-one years ago, and the process has continued. I think that this summer's war, which hasn't yet ended, is continuing and spread that lack of trust in government decisions and policies.

Many people have pointed out that, davka, the populations now being targeted by Hamas are those that had supported Disengagement most strongly and had jeered those of us who were protesting it. The big question is whether they are willing to admit their terrible mistake, apologize, repent and now change their politics.  G-d willing...

Anger and Disgust Among Israelis re: the New Ceasefire Deal

To quote a few friends:
I just heard the news at 11 p.m. with the terms of the cease fire and I want to PUKE! It sounds as if we gave them EVERYTHING they asked for.....or just about. This is an agreement that sounds like we LOST 'Tzuk Eitan.' (I hate that name and in Eng.- 'Protective Edge.' )
I'm so totally fed up. Yes, I'm relieved there's no rocketing, but AT WHAT PRICE???????
Going off to read a bit and sleep. Phooey to this gov't. Gutless.
and
Whatever the government has agreed to is irrelevant. Hamas isn't going to keep any agreements and we have no idea how the government/army is going to react. Bibi isn't sinister; some other politicians are. He doesn't have the guts to do what he knows he should do.
and
Ladies...This could mean more rockets..
Head of Fathi Hamas: ceasefire ended without our demands, all the options open to us to protect our people. (Translated by Bing)
I don't think anybody will admit to believing that the new ceasefire deal will bring even a semblance of lasting peace for Israel.
Israel, Palestinians renew truce but see risk of more Gaza violence

(Reuters) - The chief Palestinian delegate to truce talks withIsrael warned on Tuesday that Gaza violence could erupt anew unless progress is made toward a lasting deal ahead of a midnight deadline in Egyptian-brokered talks.
After a last-minute agreement was stuck with Israel to extend an expiring truce by 24 hours, Azzam al-Ahmad, senior leader of President Mahmoud Abbas's mainstream Fatah movement, said in Cairo that there had been "no progress on any point" in talks aimed at resolving the Gaza conflict.
"We hope that every minute of the coming 24 hours will be used to reach an agreement, and if not (successful), the circle of violence will continue," Ahmad said.
He accused Israel of "maneuvering and stalling" as gaps on key issues continued to dog efforts to achieve a long-term deal between Israel and militant groups in the Gaza Strip, dominated by Hamas Islamists, which would allow reconstruction aid to flow in after five weeks of fighting.
Senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk accused Israel of stalling and insisted in a post on his Twitter account that the group "will never cede any" demands for a comprehensive deal. (Reuters)
Then why has Israel agreed?

The Arab terrorists of Gaza, who are intimately allied with Abbas/Fatah just keep on increasing their demands on Israel. And the demands on Isrel are extremely dangerous for the security and continued existance of the Jewish State.

We should stop all negotiations with the Arab terrorists.  There's no way to make a peace agreement. A "deal" is like telling a sexually abused woman to marry her rapist.

Dumb Questions: 1- Americans Killing Innocent Civilian Iraqis? 2- Anti-Democratic to Ban Hamas in Gaza? 3- What Ceasefire if Hamas Attacking Israel?

Here's some food for thought aka my "dumb questions:"

1- Americans Killing Innocent Civilian Iraqis?
I can't wait to see how the Americans will "pinpoint" their attacks to prevent the killing of innocent Iraqi civilians.
The US has prepared "targeted" strikes against ISIS as it bears down on the city, should its convoys advance, the White House said.
ISIS now controls large swaths of the country's north and Syria's east, issuing license plates and collecting taxes from people under its domain. ISIS has called for the enslavement and genital mutilation of women, and the murder of all men who are not Sunni, and who will not convert.
At least 4 million women live in the region currently under ISIS control. (Jerusalem Post)
Of course, the easiest way is just to count differently.

It's a mystery why so many in the media accept as gospel Hamas-supplied figures on the number of civilians killed in the recent war. Hamas claims that of the more than 1800 Palestinians killed close to 90% were civilians. Israel, on the other hand, says that close to half of them were combatants. The objective facts support a number much closer to Israel's than to Hamas'.
Even human rights group antagonistic to Israel acknowledge, according to a New York Times report, that Hamas probably counts among the "civilians killed by Israel" the following groups: Palestinians killed by Hamas as collaborators; Palestinians killed through domestic violence; Palestinians killed by errant Hamas rockets or mortars; and Palestinians who died naturally during the conflict. I wonder if Hamas also included the reported 162 children who died while performing child slave labor in building their terror tunnels. Hamas also defines combatants to include only armed fighters who were killed while fighting Israelis. They exclude Hamas supporters who build tunnels, who allow their homes to be used to store and fire rockets, Hamas policemen, members of the Hamas political wing and others who work hand in hand with the armed terrorists. (Alan Dershowitz, Gatestone Institute)

2- Anti-Democratic to Ban Hamas in Gaza?
Since Gazans did elect Hamas to rule them and democratically rejected Fatah then wouldn't it be "undemocratic" for outsiders to try to enforce a change?

Trying to push Fatah and Abbas on the Gazans is useless and undemocratic.
In contrast to Kerry’s previous adoption of all of Hamas’s demands as official US positions, Ignatius wrote that “Over the past week, [Kerry] has been crafting a cease-fire plan that seeks to stabilize Gaza under the leadership of Abbas and the moderate Palestinian Authority….[The PA] (with the support of the international community) would have overall responsibility for the rehabilitation of Gaza.” (Caroline Glick, read more...)

American ad campaign

And IMHO it's rather idiotic to think that the beach-side living Gazans, are as peaceful by nature and ideology as those of Florida or New Zealand. There's no way to "sweet-talk" Gazans out of their support of Hamas. Only if they see Israel as stronger than the Arab terrorist Hamas would they changer their tune. Israel's conduct in this war just strengthened the terrorists' hold on the people.

3- What Ceasefire if Hamas is Again Attacking Israel?
The honeymoon is over. No surprise that Hamas has already resumed firing potentially deadly rockets at Israel.

Two rockets have apparently landed in southern Israel after being fired from Gaza, the IDF reported on Friday morning.
The rockets violate the current cease-fire in place, which stands to expire at 8:00 a.m. Delegations negotiated in Cairo for a long-term solution throughout the night Thursday and into Friday morning. (Jerusalem Post)

Those Tunnels, The Dangers

The most shocking thing revealed during this war, which should be called Complete the Mission! Sayyem et HaMissimah!סיים את המשימה, is the advanced, dangerous and surprising to our military experts, sophistication of the tunnels the Hamas Gazan Arab terrorists have constructed going into Israel. No doubt they got lots of professional help from all sorts of NGO's which claim to be for "peaceful aims."

There are a few short videos going around which give an idea of what they are used for. They are not for smuggling in drugs or refugees. They have been designed and constructed to facilitate the invasion of terrorist soldiers, equipped like in the most advanced and affluent armies.  Watch:

That's why the tunnels must be destroyed!

And at the same time we have to attack and destroy Gaza until they surrender, and we must demand the total dismantling of UNWRA which has been supporting the Arab terrorists in their attacks on Israel. The terrorists want the State of Israel to be destroyed, so there's no way to negotiate with them.

Stop dreaming!  Israel also must state very clearly that the "two state solution" is not to be. We cannot have a terror state in our midst. Remember that the P.A.'s Abbas joined forces with Hamas just before all the crisis and kidnapping of the three Jewish teenagers began.

The Jewish Month of Av began today. May it truly be a menachem Av, the Month of comfort and victory, not of destruction.
