The World Gangs Up on Israel and Trump

I don't expect any international support for the State of Israel. We don't have any true allies. All of the nice words are just lip-service to mask the simple fact that there isn't a country that would truly mourn if Israel ceased to exist. Individual, yes, but not countries. Why else does the United Nations spend so much time condemning Israel, while there are really horrible things going on in other parts of the world?

Nazi Holocaust
Remember that it took over half a century for other countries to begin building Holocaust memorials. And even if they mention that the Nazis were evil, they generalize it and lump the systematic murder of Jews with the discrimination and murder of the handicapped, homosexuals etc.

And now in Europe, at this Paris meeting, over seventy countries have sent representatives to try to find a way to facilitate the replacement of Israel with a new Arab country which they will call Palestine, sic.
At Paris meeting, major powers to warn Trump over Middle East peace
Major powers will send a message to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday that a two-state solution between Israelis and Palestinians is the only way forward, and warn that his plan to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem could derail peace efforts.
Some 70 countries, including key European and Arab states as well as the permanent members of the U.N. Security Council, are due in Paris for a meeting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected as "futile" and "rigged". Neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians will be represented.
But, just five days before Trump is sworn in, the conference provides a platform for countries to send a strong signal to the future American leader.
Trump has pledged to pursue more pro-Israeli policies and move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv, where it has been for 68 years, to Jerusalem, all but enshrining the city as Israel's capital despite international objections. (Reuters)
Donald Trump, the incoming American President is being told "not to rock the boat." There's a great irony in that, because the very election of Donald Trump was a cry from the "non-elite" American citizens, those not represented by mainstream media, academia and cinema, that they wanted to "rock the boat." They want serious change, because aren't happy with the direction their country has been going under lame-duck outgoing POTUS Barack Hussein Obama.

All of this is so deja vu for me. Remember that I'm old enough to have been perfectly aware during the frightening weeks that led up to the 1967 Six Days War to remember how quickly and enthusiastically the United Nations removed its "peacekeeping" forces from the area after being ordered to by Egypt's Nasser. And I remember how Israel fought without any human, diplomatic ally to a totally miraculous and unprecedented victory. That's because the Jewish People and individuals all over the world prayed for Israel's survival.

When the dust settled, Israel had not only survived but liberated all of Jerusalem and the Land to to the Jordan River on the east, the Golan heights on the North and to the Suez Canal on the South. Those became Israel's new borders. According to International Law and all historic precedent, this Land belongs to Israel.

Unfortunately, Leftist, weak-willed secular Israelis were ruling and decided that the liberated Land should be used as a bargaining chip to "make peace" with the Arabs. They didn't understand that Peace was already in our hands and that their policy would destroy that Peace. And in that vacuum, stepped those who had already invented the idea of a "Palestine," sic, and they have been trying that weapon to destroy the State of Israel ever since.

Peaceful, sic, Islam Exploding

Peaceful Islam, oxymoron or not?  If you believe American President Barack Hussein Obama, Islam is "peaceful," but if you read the newspaper or follow the news, other than gossip, fashion and sport sport, you'll hear something else.

The Attack at Turkish Airport

You don't have to be an accountant or rocket scientist to see that the vast majority of terror attacks nowadays are perpetrated by muslims.
Suicide bombers hit three Saudi cities on penultimate day of Ramadan
The explosions targeting US diplomats, Shi'ite worshippers and a security headquarters at a mosque in the holy city of Medina follow days of mass killings claimed by the Islamic State group.
And the largest international terror organization is run by muslims.

Mastermind of Paris, Brussels terror attacks caught!
November 2015 Paris attacks
On the evening of 13 November 2015, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks occurred in Paris, France and the city's northern suburb, Saint-Denis.[7] Beginning at 21:20 CET, three suicide bombers struck near the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, followed by suicide bombings and mass shootings at cafés, restaurants and a music venue in central Paris.[8]The attackers killed 130 people,[2] including 89 at the Bataclan theatre,[9] where they took hostages before engaging in a stand-off with police. Another 368 people were injured,[4] 80–99 seriously.[5][6] Seven of the attackers also died, while the authorities continued to search for accomplices.[3] The attacks were the deadliest on France since World War II,[10][11] and the deadliest in the European Union since the Madrid train bombings in 2004.[12] France had been on high alert since the January 2015 attacks on Charlie Hebdo offices and a Jewish supermarket in Paris that killed 17 people and wounded 22, including civilians and police officers.[13]The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks,[14][15] saying that it was retaliation for the French airstrikes on ISIL targets in Syria and Iraq.[16][17] The President of France, François Hollande, said the attacks were an act of war by ISIL[18][19][20] planned in Syria, organised in Belgium, and perpetrated with help from citizens of France.[21] All of the known Paris attackers were EU citizens[22] who had fought in Syria.[23] Some of them had returned to Europe among the flow of migrants and refugees.[24][25]
Simple fact. That is unless you're Barack Hussein Obama...
“Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”  Barack Hussein Obama

Paris Palestine Peace, sic, Con: Disaster in the Making

Consider all that is happening in the world, ISIS, zika, pollution, AIDS, etcetera...  Consider the tens of thousands or more innocent people being killed all over, and then consider the relative quiet and safety here in Israel, my corner of the middle east, and you really should wonder why has France put together a so-called "Peace Conference" for today? Aren't there more serious and important issues in the world than What is happening in Israel?

It's certainly not L'shem Shamayim,  for the Sake of Heaven, truly good intentions. Of that I have no doubt at all. This is just another attempt to destroy the State of Israel and replace it with a new Arab terror state, which they want to call "Palestine." In all honesty, they aren't even trying hard to mask their intentions.
France says Israeli settlements main ‘threat’ to two-state solution, ahead of peace summit
French Foreign Ministry ignores Palestinian actions in brief document released ahead of Friday's conference in Paris.
The brief document put out by the French Foreign Ministry to explain the French initiative and the one-day Mideast summit to be held in Paris on Friday said the two-state solution was under increased threat, “particularly with regard to continued settlement activities.”
Citing the suicide bombings, the rockets from Gaza, and the current wave of knife attacks, Gold said that “to ignore this recent history and focus on Israeli settlements is to completely distort what is going on in the Middle East.”
The document did not include a word regarding any Palestinian culpability for the current diplomatic logjam. It also seemed to seek to revitalize the notion, which lost much of its currency following the Arab Spring, that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was at the core of instability in the Middle East. (Jerusalem Post)
It's time for Jews all over the world, the State of Israel and any other who is open to seeing the truth to realize that France has a pro-terror against Israel agenda. Read one of the latest from the Palestinian Media Watch:

Following PMW reports, the US, the EU, Norway,
and other donors
stopped funding the PA general budget
because the PA pays salaries to terrorists,
yet France continues to fund the PA's general budget

Is this an attempt by the French to buy off the Arab terrorists and offer them Israel as a bribe?

Syrian Refugees, Not Emma Lazarus's "Tired and Poor"

When people hear the word "refugee" the gut reaction is to think of those poor huddled masses escaping poverty and discrimination trying to find a new home, opportunities to assimilate into a warmer, better culture of opportunities, shedding their poverty and even culture and religion to give their children a chance for a better life.
“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”
Emma Lazarus
Whether Jewish, Irish, Italian or whatever, along with their aim to improve their lives and that of their children, there always was an unbreakable loyalty to the country that was giving them that opportunity.

Now in the twenty-first 21st century there seems to be a different sort of "refugee." They more resemble the post-World War Two Nazis who disguised themselves as victims, even as Jews, in order to escape punishment. Today there are Syrians on a mission trying to enter and infiltrate all sorts of countries around the world to promote their terrorist agendas, more dangerous than the USSR "sleepers" of old, because they lack the patience that was inherent in those foreign agents.

I don't think that anyone was surprised to hear that the terrorists involved in the recent attacks in Paris had entered France as refugees. As we all know, nobody is going to advertise their terrorist connections and plans when entering a country.

EXPRESS

Countries all over the world want to find a way to limit and check refugees before allowing them to enter their country. And of course there are those like United States President Barack Hussein Obama who refuse to expand the screening process of those who want refugee status.
The legislation was introduced amid concerns over the entry of Syrian refugees in the wake of the discovery of a Syrian passport near the body of one assailant in the Paris attacks.
No less than 24 states announced earlier this week they would block the program to resettle Syrian migrants within their borders, though White House officials defended the current refugee program.
President Obama himself earlier on Wednesday struck out at Republicans, accusing them of demonizing "widows and orphans" and of “hysteria” following the Paris attacks. (Arutz 7)
Modern life, Europe and flying are just getting more and more dangerous. My friends and I here in Israel feel much safer than those abroad and have concerns over the safety if we have to travel to another country.

As as a postscript to this, I have no doubt that if, Gd forbid, a Palestinian sic state was to be established, the residents of such a state would be clamoring to leave. The only ones who would stay would be those "on the take." I see that in the enthusiasm of Arabs who will do anything to work for Jewish businesses like the Rami Levy in Sha'ar Binyamin. It's  a very convincing example of "voting with their feet." They prefer Israeli rule over Arab rule.

Israel's One-Sided Love Affair with the World

The Shomron regional council organized a very clever "solidarity with France" campaign, which was also a dig at France's foreign policy.
Watch: 'Settlers stand with France'
"Settlers stand with France"
Samaria Residents' Committee
A group of activists from the Samaria Residents' Committee - an organization which campaigns for the rights of Jews in Samaria - handed out French flags labeled in French "Settlers stand with France" to motorists and pedestrians alike....
But underneath the message of solidarity emblazoned on the flag is another message of sorts: a label informing that they were produced "Product of Judea and Samaria." (Arutz 7)
According to reports, the French media has been ignoring the various solidarity acts in Israel when they report on how the world is reacting to Friday night's terror attacks.

And on Sunday I heard the television reporters acting very troubled and confused when they discussed how while Israel is still constantly reporting on the terror attacks, the French media has gone back to business as usual with the regular programming.

When will we in Israel recognize that our love is not returned. We have no reliable allies!!

Not All Terror Victims are Equal

Why is Jewish blood considered cheaper than any other?

This post is not to belittle the recent terror attacks in Paris, nor say anything against those victims of ISIS Arab Muslim terror. But I'm sick and tired of the fact that we never see international identification and sympathy for Jewish and Israeli victims, like we see after other terror attacks. And I'm not only talking about responses from abroad. The Israeli media, politicians etc are no better.

being passed around on facebook
This composite compares the headlines of the Paris attacks and the Arab terror attack on the Litman family just before Shabbat which resulted in the murder of the father and son.

  • "Terror attack in Israel: Father and son were killed in an attack near Otniel."
  • "Terror attack in France: About 150 were murdered..."
Why the difference in verbs? One is killed in an accident, and the Litman family was not in an accident. They were attacked--targeted by Arab terrorists. The resulting deaths were murder, plain and simple.

The world is responding to the Friday night ISIS terror attacks in Paris in all sorts of ways.
Solidarity in symbols: Responding with light to Paris attacksJust an hour after a series of attacks rocked Paris on Friday night, the Eiffel Tower went dark in mourning.
But the response worldwide was to turn on the light: Three colors began appearing in solidarity: blue, white, and red. (Yahoo)

Here in Israel we've had to cope with many terror attacks with similarly proportionate deaths to the population, but in no case has the world shown much sympathy nor any identification, outside of Jewish communities.

As I've said many times, I have no doubt that the fact that the world sympathizes with the Arab aka Palestinian sic terrorists who murder and terrorize us here in Israel contributes to the confidence and enthusiasm of the terrorists  who are terrorizing France and the rest of the world.

What a Terrible Start to The Week and Jewish Month

I first titled this post "What an Awful Start to The Week and Jewish Month," but as the news of all the terror attacks kept reverberating in my head, I realized that using the word/adjective "Terrible" with the linguistic connection to "TERRORIST/TERROR" was much more suitable. I had never connected the two words before, but now it is so obvious that they have to be connected.

This past Thursday and Friday were Rosh Chodesh Kislev, the Jewish Month that has the shortest daylight and really begins winter. I had a lovely Friday at Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh for Women's Rosh Chodesh Prayers and then a very busy day finishing the cooking and cleaning. I wasn't on the computer nor listening nor checking news. It must have been similar for my neighbors, because nobody mentioned an rumors about a serious fatal terror attack near Hebron before Shabbat.

Rabbi Ya'akov Litman, HaY"D (in photo) and his son
Netanel, HaY"D were murdered right before
Shabbat near Otniel, south of Hevron.
So, I just wasn't prepared for the news that Arab terrorists had shot up a car of innocent Jews which resulted in the murder of two of them, a father and son.

Reuters
And of course I hadn't a clue of the massive terror attack in Paris over Shabbat, which had nothing to do with Jews and antisemitism. Over a hundred people have been murdered by the Islamic State ISIS terrorists in a series of coordinated attacks there and many more injured.

Reuters
I have no doubt that many Europeans are getting terrified of all the Arab refugees streaming flooding into Europe. The leader of the Paris attacks was a refugee who had arrived a few months ago. There is a fact that is being ignored by the European Union in its attempts to show how humanitarian they are. Arab Muslims do not make an aim/effort to integrate and assimilate. And the quantities of Arab Muslim refugees even small towns must take in are impossible to comprehend.
German town of 100 must take 1,000 Syrian migrants
I'm sure that the powerful politicians and bureaucrats who made these decisions live far away, very much like the Americans in the 1960's who favored integrating schools, but not where their children studied.

Especially considering the very low birthrate of white Christian Europeans, it's clear that in the generation or two, Europe will have totally changed. Start checking out the ethnic and religious status of the school children and the maternity wards, and the future will be clear.

Vive la Différence, Today versus 1930's in Europe!

As awful as the present antisemitism in Europe is, there is an extremely crucial and reassuring difference between now and the 1930's when the Nazis rose to power and began their systematic destruction of Jewish life in Europe. I think that it is very important to point this out.

We all know that the world, Europe, Britain and the Americas sat by silently, complicitly as the Nazis began their first discrimination which escalated to the Holocaust, the murder of six million Jews and millions of others.

There are two major differences today.
  • Today's antisemitism/terrorism against Jews is privately instigated. It's not government policy.
  • Today the governments feel necessity to condemn anti-Jewish acts, especially when they result in murder.
Finally, in Europe at least it is no longer "PC," politically correct to condone or ignore the murder of Jews.  The United States Obama Government still refuses to admit that the Muslims are intentionally terrorizing and murdering Jews for antisemitic ideology. This is something the American public must correct and vote in a better more moral president.

I'm not saying that things are perfect. Remember that the French Government tried to keep Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu from attending the anti-terrorism rally, and they are trying to convince French Jewry to stay and not emigrate to Israel.

Smashed Graves in France on Sunday / AFP
The French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has called on Jews to not heed the call of Benjamin Netanyahu to leave Europe and resettle in Israel, but his comments have come against a background of extreme violence and anti-Semitic attacks.
Vall’s comments came only hours after the discovery of a major attack on a Jewish cemetery in north-east France, and the execution-style murder of a Jewish man in Denmark as part of a terrorist rampage which has left two dead and dozens injured. Danish police are reportedly working on a line of investigation that links the killings at the weekend, which took place at a freedom of speech conference and synagogue in Copenhagen with the Charlie Hebdo attacks last month. (Breitbart)

Just the fact that the French Government is saying something is a great improvement over the Vichy Government... And the Danish Government has been verbally upset by the antisemitic terror attack.

G-d willing the Moshiach, Messiah is on His/Her way....

Terrorists Heat Up Frozen Copenhagen

When terrorists shoot synagogues, only the truly antisemitic can describe the attacks as random. This morning's news is of terror attacks in frosty Copenhagen; two dead at last count.
Reuters
Two dead in Copenhagen shootings; One victim was guard outside synagogue bat mitzva party (Jerusalem Post)

This is pretty soon after the antisemitic attacks in Paris that left even more innocents dead.
Julien Pebrel—MYOP for TIME
Last week’s chaotic violence in Paris reached a spectacular climax on Friday afternoon, when a lone gunman stormed through the doors of a kosher supermarket, Kalashnikov blazing, and took its customers siege. Four hostages died in the terrifying four-hour ordeal. Amedy Coulibaly’s assault in Paris’s easternmost neighborhood appeared to erupt out of nowhere after days dominated by the Charlie Hebdomassacre; it jangled already frayed French nerves and pushed security forces close to a breaking point. (TIME)
It's now getting impossible to sweep European antisemitism under the carpet, but United States President Barack Hussein Obama is still trying to do so.
This week, apropos of seemingly nothing, in an interview with Mathew Yglesias from the Vox.com website, Obama was asked about terrorism. In his answer the president said the terrorism threat is overrated. And that was far from the most disturbing statement he made.

Moving from the general to the specific, Obama referred to the jihadists who committed last month’s massacres in Paris as “a bunch of violent vicious zealots,” who “randomly shot a bunch of folks in a deli in Paris.” (Caroline Glick)

It's clear that the Obama White House is competing with FDR's disgraceful attitude towards Jews. Obama's continued support by many Americans is very worrying.

Obama, Like FDR, Antisemite

There are many similarities between sitting United States President Barack Hussein Obama and the late U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

  1. Both have fanatically loyal Jewish fans/worshipers
  2. Both are (was for FDR) actually antisemitic.
Dr. Rafael Medoff brings up a lot of this in his excellent article which appears on Arutz 7.

U.S. President Obama didn't attend the anti-terror rally in Paris and is also going to be a no-show for the 70th Anniversary event for the liberation of Auschwitz. That's besides his consistently foul and insulting behavior to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his amiable negotiations with Iran. Other presidents and prime ministers immediately cleared their calendars in order to march in Paris and planned their schedules around the 70th anniversary celebrations.

Heads of states and officials march during the Unity rally "Marche Republicaine" on January 11, 2015 in Paris (AFP Photo/Eric Feferberg)

For decades, generations even, American Jews have worshiped FDR, but recently it has become more acceptable to reveal his true antisemitic nature. The American war effort was never to stop the Holocaust against German and European Jewry. That's another reason the American military was totally shocked and unprepared for the serious state of the survivors they found in the concentration camps. Many survivors were literally killed by misplaced kindness. The soldiers weren't given instructions about feeding those who had been starving for so long. Many survivors died because they ate too much and too quickly.

And don't forget that thousands and thousands, even hundreds of thousands or more, of European Jewry could have been given entry visas to the United States, but FDR's government locked them out and sent them back to Europe. Even after the war the American Government was stingy with visas.

You never see such a glowing smile on Obama when he's with Bibi.
I have no doubt that with time, we'll see more and more revelations about Barack Hussein Obama's true feelings about Jews and Israel that will make the Jews who voted for him and support him very sorry they did so.

Can France Be Trusted to Prevent Arab Muslim Terrorism?

Here's the statement of the French Ambassador (Breitbart News):
FRENCH AMBASSADOR: FRANCE IS AT WAR WITH RADICAL ISLAM

Maybe I'm just a bit too jaded, but the fact that the head of Fatah, Hamas's great ally Mahmoud Abbas was invited by France to the "anti-terror rally" makes me very doubtful that France takes Arab Muslim terrorism seriously enough.

The Guardian

The countries represented at the rally, besides the P.A. have very few, if any, that have a zero tolerance policy towards terrorism. Not only did Abbas attend, but so did the Turkish Prime Minister. And please don't forget that Turkey is one of the greatest supporters of Hamas and Gaza terrorism against Israel.

As usual, nothing new, we can't trust any of the promises from world leaders when it comes to Arab Muslim terror.

CNN: "West Jerusalem." Where's That?

We ended up watching the quadruple funeral of the four Jewish victims of the Arab terror attack in the Parisian Kosher Supermarket on CNN. The broadcast was seriously marred by the fact that the announcer kept saying that they were in "West Jerusalem." I didn't hear or find it on the site, but I can't get it out of my ears.

There is no such place. What a disgrace to the memories of the victims, innocent French Jews who were shopping in a kosher store before the holy Sabbath.

It's a credit to the families of the dead victims of Arab Muslim terror that they came to Jerusalem to bury their loved ones in our Holy Land. They wouldn't defile them in French soil.

Photo Credit: Hillel Meir / Tazpit News Agency
Mobs of Israelis came to accompany the dead to their final resting place in Jerusalem and to try to give some comfort to the mourners. The rest of us watched on television if possible.

Hyper-Casher Funeral

We are all one people, and an attack, an Arab Muslim terrorist attack on a kosher store is also an attack on Israel. The fact that it has been widely reported that the French Government tried to keep Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu away from the anti-terror march just shows how complicit the French Government is.

Are Tourists Cancelling Their Trips to France? or Holland?

I just wonder if the American Government has sent out warnings to those American Citizens who are in France the way they do to us here in Israel warning about the dangers of terrorism?

The scene was one of terror yesterday as 19 people were held hostage, including women and children

I'm just curious whether people who are planning a trip to France get questions like:
"Aren't you scared?"
"Maybe you should pick a safer place."
Those going to Israel are frequently warned of its danger.

My late mother used to reply:
"More people die from falling in their bathrooms."

Someone I know was surprised that people asked if she was worried about her son's trip to Israel, after he finished serving in the American Army:
"No, not compared to Afghanistan."
Strangely, people didn't show as much interest or worry about him when his life was really in danger, but Israel had them terrified.

One of the French Jews who had hidden in the freezer in the Kosher Supermarket was interviewed on Israeli television. He said that he already had plans to bring his family on aliyah to Israel, and he was thinking of moving up the date.

And very worrying for those who think that Europe is still safe,
Pro-Israel rally scrapped in Amsterdam over security concerns
So, please, come to Israel, whether as a tourist, student or immigrant. Of course, I can't guarantee total safety, but no place can.

It's Frightening to See How Easily Two Arab Terrorists Can Run The French Police/Army Ragged

CREDIT: REUTERS/CHARLES PLATIAU
I trust, hope, pray that the French authorities will soon succeed in capturing the Arab Muslim terrorists who murdered over a dozen people so far.
Earlier I had posted about how the world doesn't recognize that these Arab Moslem terrorists are related to the same ones who attack Israelis.

And now, when we see on television the massive military necessary to capture, and they still haven't those two murderous terrorists. And will they use real force against them? And will they still condemn Israel for using force against the Gazan Arab Muslim terrorists? That's the question, isn't it?

Will they ever learn?

More Antisemitic Violence in France, Time to Come Home to Israel

Today I was speaking to someone who would love to do some traveling. She mentioned a number of places she'd like to got to in Europe.
"But I'd never go to France," she added.
Historic Naval Ships Association
Close to fifty years ago my friends and I tried to boycott France because of its government policy, especially after the the delivery of the Cherbourg boats was cancelled.
The Boats of Cherbourg was an Israeli military operation which took place on 24 December 1969, and involved the escape of five unarmed Sa'ar 3 class boats from the French port of Cherbourg. The boats had been paid for by the Israeli government but had not been delivered due to the French arms embargo in 1969.
Today the reason that that many Jews won't go there is the Muslim violence and the antisemitism in the streets.

A synagogue near the Bastille was under police guard on Monday after more than 100 youths chanting "Israel murderer" tried to storm the building following a march demanding an end to Israeli air strikes on Gaza.
Several thousand protesters took part in Sunday's march, some wearing facepaint in the colours of the Palestinian flag and carrying banners saying: "Stop killing children."
As the demonstration broke up, a large group headed to the Abravanel synagogue where about 150 people had gathered for a memorial service for three Israeli teenagers found murdered in the West Bank.
Neighbours said the protesters had picked up chairs from a cafe nearby and tried to break through a police barrier outside the synagogue, where worshippers remained trapped for several hours.
Six police and two members of the Jewish community were injured, and six protesters were arrested. (The Guardian)
Violence is simmering beneath the surface and periodically, more and more frequently escaping.

I wouldn't want to live there. Believe me, it's safer and more pleasant in Israel even during this war.

Intifada in Paris?

Israel's looking safer all the time, bli eyin haraa.

Arab-African riots against the police are getting more dangerous and more violent. They now use hunting rifles against the police. I had to read quite a bit through
this New York Times article, until they mentioned that the rioters are Arab and Africans.

It's obvious that they'd be from the "immigrant suburbs." They're called "immigrant suburbs," even if the rioters are from families who've been there for a few generations. They'll never be "real" Frenchmen.

I'd rather be in Shiloh than in Paris.
