Death Penalty for Terror Against Jews!

It's totally incomprehensible to me why the State of Israel, my tax money is being used to house, feed, educate, heal, comfort and even defend Arab terrorists. There should be immediate death penalty for all Arab (anti-Jewish/Israeli) terrorists caught in the act.

There shouldn't even be a trial. It's a waste of time and money. Attempted murder/terror should be enough to execute them on the spot. Don't give the terrorists additional chances if the don't succeed the first time.

Don't hold them "in escrow" awaiting some "exchange."

Justice means protecting innocent citizens and not equating them with our enemies.

There's nothing to discuss, negotiate nor debate on this issue.

7th Day of Chanukah, Remember, Hatred of Jews and Israel Behind Arab Terror

Last night we lit seven candles or oil lights plus the shammash.  One more night to go...

The Jerusalem location pictured below used to be a bus stop cum trempiada.

It's across from the private home neighborhood Givat Hamivtar of Jerusalem's Ramat Eshkol and right near French Hill.  Taking the road to the left you go north through the Arab neighborhoods of Beit Chanina and Shuafat.  Going further you'll pass Atarot and then Ramalla/Al Bireh, Beit El and the Jelouzun refugee camp. That used to be the road to Shiloh.  On the map, you can still go that way, but in recent years there's a new road, where all those cars and trucks are coming from.  The new road takes you to a Ma'aleh Adumim junction, to Pisgat Ze'ev and then to Binyamin, the Jordan Valley and Shomron (Samaria.)

No doubt that you can't see that old bus stop, but I can.  That's where I was injured in an Arab terror attack. Baruch Hashem, thank G-d it was a minor injury.  One woman was killed and all of the other injured were much more seriously injured.  It happened about eighteen years ago, but when I notice that I'm passing the spot,  it feels like yesterday.

During the time of "my terror attack," there were many.  Most were suicide bus bombers.  The police, under instructions from the  politicians no doubt, tried to insist that it was just an accident that some Arab drove onto the sidewalk and mowed down a bunch of Jews innocently waiting for buses or tremps. I'm grateful for the quick-thinking Jews who shot him dead, immediately executing him instead of his being released from jail in some badly (for Israel) negotiated deal.

Arab terror attacks against Jews aren't random.  They're based on anti-Jewish and anti-Israel hatred.  I have no doubts at all.
Motive in Rock Throwing Attack That Injured 2-Year-Old Was ‘Hatred of Jews,’ Hamas Leader Son Arrested
Jerusalem Police said on Tuesday that one of the assailants involved in the rock throwing attack that injured toddler Avigail Ben-Zion was the son of a senior Hamas official, while the group admitted their motive was “hatred of Jews,” elevating the attack from senseless violence to what may be considered a nationalistic crime, Israel’s Channel 2 reported.
It doesn't matter how old the terrorist, his education or background.  I wish that Israel would adopt and make law execution, the death penalty for all convicted Arab terrorists. That's the only way to make the Arabs understand that they must stop.

Better The Death Penalty Than Releasing Arab Terrorist Prisoners; Bennett and MKs Snagged

For the umpteenth time I'm blogging that I am in favor the death penalty, capital punishment for Arab terrorists who murder and attempt to murder Jews.  I don't believe in giving them "second chances." If we had that in our Israeli Laws, then there wouldn't be this horrendously dangerous and weakening situation of convicted Arab terrorist murderers being released.
Israel names 26 Palestinian prisoners to be freed in 48 hours
All were convicted of murder, including brutal killings such as 1990 Rosh Hashanah lynch of IDF reservist in Gaza; 21 inmates are from West Bank, 5 from Gaza
I also must say "I told you so" to all of those who voted not only the ruling Likud-Beitenu but for Naftali Bennett's NRP aka Jewish Home Party.  For as many elections as I've been blogging, such as all of those Knesset elections in the past decade plus, I've warned everyone who reads my blog that the Likud isn't a reliably Right party and that all parties in the coalition must obey coalition discipline and even ministers don't have a say/vote in policy decisions.

When I got home from work yesterday afternoon and turned on the news I kept hearing the top Likud ministers chastising Bennett and his MKs for publicly voicing their opposition to government policy.  This was all so easy to predict.  The Likud is correct in complaining about Bennett.  Bennett signed a contract to abide by government decisions.
A Cabinet committee unsurprisingly defeated on Sunday a motion by the Jewish Home to propose a bill that would prevent the government from freeing heavy-duty terrorists. The Ministerial Committee for Legislation voted 8-5 against the proposal, with Likud, Yesh Atid and Livni’s HaTunah party minsters opposing it and Jewish Home and Yisrael Beiteinu ministers voting for it. With Justice Minister Tzipi Livni heading the committee, the bill had no chance. Click here to understand how she wears three hats, all of them oversized. Interior Minister Gideon Sa’ar, a senior Likud member and a close aide to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, characteristically played the role of a sore winner and told Jewish Home Minister Uri Orbach, “If you don’t like it, you can resign.” Sa’ar berated the Jewish Home for daring to propose a bill that would have gone against government policy. Livni was even cruder with her snipe that the government does not act on the orders “of the rabbis in the West Bank.”

The decisions aren't made by polling all coalition MKs, or even all of the government ministers. This is nothing new, nor was it a secret before the elections and coalition negotiations.  Not to bore you, but I did post that innumerable times.  It doesn't matter or help or change things that Moshe Feiglin is now a Likud MK or that Tzippi Hotobelli is Deputy Minister of Transportation and Road Safety and NRP's Bennett is in the cabinet. They have absolutely no influence. Their job, paid job, is to back Bibi's government.

And please don't try your scare-mongering on me claiming that it would be worse if Tsippi Livni or another Leftist was Prime Minister.  I've been observing Israeli governments and politics for almost half a century, and I've seen the Likud (originally Menachem Begin's Herut) in all positions and guises.  Israel's only Land withdrawals, Sinai and Disengagement, were under Likud Governments.  The Left wouldn't dare with a strong Right opposition.  Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is always best when pushed to the wall.  That's where I want him, not in power.

The present Israeli Government is promoting policies far to the Left, and that's the truth.

Death Penalty for Arab Terrorists!

Terrorism is a crime against humanity. True Justice demands that terrorists who attempt to murder innocents, whether they succeed or not, must be promptly executed. It is perverse, peculiar and beyond absurd that Israelis distinguish between terrorists with and without blood on their hands.

Why should the Israeli politicians, judicial, media etc consider it reasonable that an Arab terrorist who attempted to murder Israelis and failed should be given another opportunity?

There is an excellent pro-capital punishment article by Dudley Sharp in the Jerusalem Post.

Until now, only Adolf Eichmann has been executed in Israel. We have a few hundred convicted terrorists in our jails. Some are so vicious that not even Ehud Olmert agreed to free them in exchange for Gilad Shalit. I hope that a law will be proposed which would demand execution of all those terrorists.

This evening, the town of Shiloh and relatives and friends of the Eldar family welcomed a new Sefer Torah, Torah Scroll to our neighborhood synagogue. It was donated in memory of teenage Yonatan Eldar, HaY"D, who was one of the eight murdered by an Arab terrorist just over a year ago, in the Merkaz Harav Yeshiva, Jerusalem.
