Honestly, Beware There are Different Cultures and Values

No doubt that many people didn't like my Sunday's blog post, Jews Who Fled Nazi Germany/Europe weren't The Same as Today's Fleeing Arabs. There are too many good people all over the world who go for the simplistic stereotyping that all refugees as somehow "innocent." They insist that helping the Arabs is a great tikkun, correction to make up for all the terrible things done to Jews over the millennia.

I hate to burst your balloon, but life's not so black and white. Before I say more, please watch this and read it carefully.

If you're having trouble believing it, then just watch it again.

And how about remembering that during World War Two, predating remote-controlled pilotless planes, the Japanese solved the problem with pilots trained to crash their planes into American ships and die. It was a "great honor," just like the muslim shahid. And I bet you thought that "suicide bombers" were Arab inventions...

Another thing, what do most of the "shooters" in America have in common?

Just hope that there is some way of effectively vetting those who want to enter your country.

Deja Vu, Arab Terrorists Blowing Up Buses and Innocent Jews

Yes, again.

Yesterday at work, one of the staff, who gets news alerts suddenly reported a bus explosion/bomb/terror attack. At first the police tried to explain it away as a simple "malfunction," but then they admitted that the terror attacks, the bombmakers for the suicide bombers of twenty years ago, were out of retirement.

Police: Jerusalem public bus explosion caused by bomb
After initial confusion about the cause of the inferno, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said a forensics team, aided by bomb disposal experts at the site, confirmed the fires were ignited by an explosive device. (Jerusalem Post)
This type of terror attack is so frighteningly random and deadly. I just don't have the words and energy to say more about it right now. I pray for a refuah shleimah, complete and speedy recovery for all of the innocent injured victims, and may Gd properly punish the terrorist and his trainers and supporters with painful drawn out deaths.

Late last night, after the Arab terror attack/bus bombing, Reuters posted this headline:
U.S. feels 'overwhelming frustration' with Israeli government: Biden
Yes, it's a reminder that the United States Government is NOT A FRIEND OF ISRAEL!!!

Yes, I am Still Tremping, aka Hitchhiking!

Too many people bother me with the foolish question asking if I still tremp since the three teenage boys, Eyal Yirfah, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frenkel, were kidnapped.

The terrible, cruel kidnapping of children by Arab terrorists won't stop me from tremping, just like the Arab terrorist bus bombs didn't make me stop riding buses. And the rocks and stones which used to be thrown by Arab terrorists at Jewish buses and cars didn't keep me off the roads or make me hightail it back to Bayit Vegan, Jerusalem. And the bus bomb by Arab terrorists which blew up a bus right in the middle of Bayit Vegan murdering six Jews, June 1978, didn't make me leave Jerusalem, either!

Tremping and giving rides is a way of life for many of us. I don't have time to wait for buses all the time.  I frequently save time by tremping, and there are many times when there aren't buses. I can't restrict my life to the bus schedule.

REMEMBER THAT TREMPING ISN'T THE DANGER; THE ARAB TERRORISTS ARE THE DANGER!!

Too many people forget that simple fact.

And I'm not being very original by reminding everyone that if we let the terrorists chase us away from the Land of Israel via terrorism. If we end up in a crowded ghetto by Tel Aviv, the Arab terrorists will just keep pushing. So if we go back to Europe and America and North Africa, Asia etc where many of us or our ancestors had lived, then antisemitism and terrorism will just follow us, and people who hate us will just say:
"Go Back!!"
They'll mean the Land of the Bible, and that's where I am right now.

Arab terrorism isn't about tremping, and it isn't about Shiloh. The Arab terrorists don't want us any place. So, I believe that we have to take the initiative and make their lives more difficult. One thing for sure that must be done is to make it law that:
All convicted Arab terrorists must be executed!
Make sure that terrorism doesn't pay!

"Enclave" Insanity, ZACHOR!

Arutz 7 has a frightening article based on a Chanel 2 (Israel) news report that in a search for a way to facilitate the establishment of a Palestinian sic state, Israel's Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is investigating the "enclaves" Belgium has in Holland.
Netanyahu is basing his idea on the Belgian municipality of Baarle-Hertog, which has some territory made up of exclaves in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The total area of the region is 7.48 square kilometers (2.89 square miles) which gives a population density of 308 inhabitants per km² (798 inhabitants/sq mi).
Baarle-Hertog consists of 24 separate parcels of land. There are twenty Belgian exclaves in the Netherlands and three other sections on the Dutch-Belgian border. There are also seven Dutch exclaves within the Belgian exclaves.
According to Channel 2 News, Netanyahu wishes to find out whether it is legally and practically possible to reach a similar solution with the PA. Doing so would leave any Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria in enclaves within the Palestinian state. Under the Dutch-Belgian model, Belgian citizens who reside in the Netherlands are also considered local citizens who maintain their rights.
Duhh?!? Does he really think that the Arabs here are as amenable and civilized as the Dutch? Neither the Dutch nor Belgian people are out to destroy the other.  That's how they can live in harmony. It just won't work.  Even today, when Israel is supposedly the only military allowed between the Mediterranean and the Jordan, Israelis are warned by the authorities not to enter areas supervised by the P.A. Palestinian Authority. So how do they expect that same P.A. to guarantee safety for Jewish-Israeli enclaves?

We're now days before Purim.  On the Shabbat before Purim we are all commanded to read and listen to "Zachor," which tells of how Amalek attacked the Jewish People as we trekked on our way to the Land of Israel.
The Amalekites mentioned in the Torah portion read on this Shabbat are traditionally taken to be the ancestors of Haman, the villain in the Purim tale. In Jewish tradition, the Amalekites are symbol of the evil that arises and must be fought in every generation.
Arab terrorism, which targets the weak and non-military, proves that they are the modern descendants of Amalek.

This is also the season of my own personal terrorist attack, when I was injured eighteen years ago. It was just before Shabbat Zachor.  It was a time of frequent Arab terrorist suicide bus bombings. I was waiting with dozens of people at what was then the bus stop to Shiloh, Mateh Binyamin and the Shomron.  It was before the building of the lightrail and the present  road to Pisgat Ze'ev. This is the road the lightrail takes as it winds its way through Shuafat and Beit Chanina before getting to Pisgat Ze'ev.

I pass the spot every time I take the lightrail from Pisgat Ze'ev to French Hill and beyond.

I was injured along with about twenty others, and a woman was murdered.

I had just been in Jerusalem.  My last stop was visiting a widowed friend and had gotten the booklet the family had put out about Leah, ZaTza"L, who had passed away suddenly just under a year before. I was showing it to a neighbor keeping an eye on the road, hoping there'd be a tremp before the bus.

I noticed a car approaching "badly" and turned around to tell my friend:
"Even if he's going to Shiloh, I don't want to get in."
According to her, I never got the words out. I let out a scream as the car hit me and knocked me down as it made another sharp turn into the waiting people, innocent Jews of all ages. Then the driver/terrorist exited the car and was promptly executed by a couple of bystanders, while security forces literally dropped in jumping from behind the stone barriers calling out to us:
"Run, the car is probably going to explode!"
I managed to run.  My foot only swelled up a bit later.

One of the worst things about this Arab terror attack was that the government and police tried to excuse it as an "unintentional accident." They decided to blind themselves to the obvious; we were doubly victimized.

  • first by the Arab terrorist
  • then by the Israeli Government
The late David Bar-Illan was then Editor in Chief of the Jerusalem Post. I went to his office after getting first aid. He not only had me interviewed, but he used my information for a double-sized editorial blasting the government for trying to excuse the attack as an accident and also had me write and op-ed of my experience.

Bibi's attempt to pretend that we can have peace with the Arabs is the same dangerous mindset that pretended that the Arab terrorist accidentally mowed down dozens of Jews that day. I can't sit silently.

Sorry, But Not All Mothers are The Same

Leftist philosophy and culture are based on a popular fallacy that we're all the same deep down.  Sorry Charley, but that isn't true, not at all.  Not everyone has the same basic values, not even mothers.  Similar to the Japanese World War Two kamikaze pilots who flew their planes and themselves into American targets to destroy and die, Arabs and Muslims value and praise dying if it kills the enemy.  That's what's behind the mentality, philosophy of "suicide bombers," the Arab terrorists who strap themselves with explosives to blow up Israelis and plan on dying in the process.  The families of these terrorists proudly celebrate those acts.  The idea that their son or daughter died killing Jews makes them very happy.

Paula Stern, A Soldier's Mother, wrote about the Boston Marathon Bombers' mother and her eerie reaction to her older son's death and what those two boys did.
The mother of the two brothers is Zubeidat Tsarnaeva. In this interview, she speaks of her sons Tamerlan and Tzhokhar Tsarnaevso to CNN.
“If they are going to kill him. I don’t care. My oldest son has been killed, and I don’t care. I don’t care if my youngest son is going to be killed today. I want the world to hear this. And, I don’t care if I am going to get killed too. Okay? And I will say Allahu Akbar! That's what I'm going to say!“  -- Zubeidat Tsarnaeva
The surviving brother, all of 19 years old, has said the actions they took were to defend Islam. His words, combined with his mother's words make it clear what the motive was. It is, once again, a message from a culture that cares more for martyrdom than life.
This is the woman, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, whose children are murderers, terrorists.
At one appointment, Tsarnaeva “started quoting a conspiracy theory, telling me how she thought 9/11 was purposely created by the American government to make Americans hate Muslims,” Alyssa 23, wrote on her blog of her visits to the apartment. (complete article)

Now, why did the Tsarnaeva family move to the United States?  I think that Americans should be very, very nervous about their immigrant population from certain countries and cultures.  I'm just being very pragmatic.

Listen to her words.

If this is for real, shouldn't she be arrested?
