Words, Words, Words, aka LIES!

I think it'll be easier if we're all mentally prepared. Kerry's coming for another of his "visits," and no doubt his speeches will be peppered with lots of "sympathy" and crocodile tears for the Jewish victims of Arab terror.

Since we know that he's just a marionette of Barack Hussein Obama, I don't want to hear that "finally he is saying something good" and other naive responses.

Today's politicians are just actors saying lines. And they'll say whatever they and their handlers think will bring them more votes or better standings in the polls.

And don't forget that Hillary Clinton is really great at pretending she loves Israel and Jews. She's been part of the biggest and most popular faux "lovebirds couple" for about a half a century already. The Bill and Hillary act deserves multiple Oscars.

If Hillary "regrets kissing  Suha Arafat," it's only because the picture hasn't been forgotten. Hillary wants to be President of the USA, and that kiss can lose her votes. As Muslim (Arab Muslim) terrorism spreads all over the world, more and more people are seeing the connection between Arafat's Palestinians and those terrorists attacking Paris, Mali etc.

Please remember that all their speeches from public figures and politicians all over the world are crafted to make people like and respect them. It's all fake. Judge actions, not well rehearsed words.

Best of Latma, Part 2

Latma is the brilliant Israeli political parody brought to us by Caroline Glick.  Due to financial problems, it's being forced to change somehow.
After 200 episodes, the Tribal Update, Latma's flagship satirical newscast is coming to a close. We were supposed to be broadcast on Israel TV's Channel 1 as the station's prime time satire show. We were approved by all the professional committees not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 times over the past two years. Time after time, they told us they were about to send us the contract. We even sat down and negotiated a contract with them a year ago, but then, each time, they put us on hold. In this fourth iteration of this farce, we have been waiting to receive a contract since Shavuot. Maybe one will arrive in the mail. Maybe it got lost in the mail. Or maybe our assessment at the outset, that the Left's control over the Israeli media is so enormous that leftist commissars are willing to break their own rules to keep a satirical voice of Zionism off the air was spot on, and they will continue leading us by the nose and pretending they are a meritorcracy and don't discriminate against Zionists for the next generation.
At any rate, we have reached the end of our financial rope. Over the past year, believing the stories we were told by the powers that be on Channel 1 that we would be moving to the small screen almost immediately, we built up the production capabilities of a top line prime time television show. And the costs, for a donation based project are just too high. So we're ending our run...
I'm not one of those who knows what will happen next, but the Latma team has put together this "Best of Latma" program, which is definitely worth watching.

There is English translation, which may be hidden by ads.  Click the "x" on the ad to see the English.  Listen, read carefully and be prepared with tissues, really.  They hit on the truth like a good reflexology that hits just the spot connected to the pain.

The downsizing of Latma is a sad day for Israeli democracy and free thought.

Freedom of Thought/Speech, Good for The Goose, Not for The Gander

For whatever reasons, my fellow Jews tend to out-pope the pope in protecting our enemies, while ignoring threats against us and the State of Israel.  Ruthie Blum's latest op-ed in Israel Hayom is about two conflicting posters and the reactions of American Jewry.

Poster Wars

Two ad campaigns, one in New York City and the other in Portland, Oregon, are causing quite a controversy these days.

One has a very simple anti-war message.

What could be wrong or offensive about it?  The only thing someone may find offensive is that it implies that only Israel is trying to defeat the savage aka jihad.  But that isn't what people are complaining abut.  The la la Left doesn't like the idea that savage = jihad and jihad is an Islamic Arab term.

In Islam, the central doctrine that calls on believers to combat the enemies of their religion. According to the Qur'an and the Hadith, jihad is a duty that may be fulfilled in four ways: by the heart, the tongue, the hand, or the sword.

From what I've read, nobody is claiming that any other country is making an effort to fight jihad other than Israel.  That means that most of the world is ready to accept jihad and the price we will all have to pay.  Have New Yorkers and other Americans so easily forgotten what was behind the terror attack on 9-11, September 11, 2001?

There's a truly offensive, dangerous anti-Israel ad on Portland, Oregon's public transport.

An advertisement that seeks to bring attention to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will appear on TriMet buses and MAX trains next month. Sept. 26, 2012. (Americans United for Palestinian Human Rights)  KOIN

Where are the cries of protest?  This anti-Israel campaign is based on lies, so why hasn't the American Jewish community and others who claim to be pro-Israel and pro-truth condemn it?

In the History of the World, there never has been an Arab country called Palestine, not an Arab people by that name.  It's a modern invention, davka, by Europeans to prevent Zionists, Jews, from establishing a state in our fully documented, historic Homeland.  That's the truth!

The United Nations has done unprecedented damage by perpetuating refugee status on Arabs who willingly fled, in most cases relatively new homes, when the State of Israel was established in 1948.  Neighboring Arab countries have kept their fellow Arabs in refugee camps instead of absorbing them into their countries and economies.  This was supposed to be a simple population exchange, something that has happened many times in the history of the world.  A similar number of Jews left or fled Arab countries at the same time.  They now live mostly in Israel as full, active citizens.
