Israel Attacked by Hamas 2023/5784, War Musings #8 ISRAEL Must Be The One Country Between The River and The Sea!

How did the "Two State Solution" morph into a a policy that demands only one, Gd forbid, the terror state of Palestine sic?

The catchy rhyming slogan "From the River to the Sea Palestine Will be Free" is an innocent sounding euphemism for the destruction, Gd forbid, of the State of Israel

It's time for all those who have been promoting a Palestinian sic state to exist peacefully next to the State of Israel to finally admit to themselves that such a situation is a total impossibility. They've been lying to themselves, Israelis and foreigners alike.

How did the State of Israel get into such a mess? Even our faux Right wing prime minister, Binyamin Bibi Netanyahu publicly drank the Kool-Aid, as the saying goes. I'm impatiently waiting to hear admissions by our politicians, leaders, foreigners, too, that they made a BIG MISTAKE. Unfortunately, naiveté and stupidity are very closely connected.

About the United States, historically, if you follow policy, not speeches, you'd find that the State Department, which is eternal, though presidents come and go, has always been anti-Israel. Truman vetoed, overrode its instructions when he insisted that the USA vote "yes" for a State of Israel in the United Nations and then quickly recognized it. The Nixon-Kissinger scheming during/before the Yom Kippur War is explained very clearly in Bruce Brill's Deceit of an Ally

Biden speaks with "forked tongue," as hypocrites and liars were called in old cowboy and indian movies. He's making suicidal demands on Israel, and I hope Bibi uses his IQ to realize that he's being conned. In the meantime, as long as Israel listens to the USA, we're in increasing danger.

I suggest you do some research and try to find Arab leaders who have officially promoted the "Two State Solution" in Arabic. Have any tried to promote this to other Arabs? Have any accepted the various Two State Peace sic proposals offered?

***

Yesterday the Jerusalem Post published a letter I wrote to them which, davka, gives the key to how that nice mushy liberal-sounding policy evolved into an innocently sounding rhyme which actually demands the destruction, Gd for bid, of the State of Israel.

Over Shabbat, I read a week of The Jerusalem Post, something I find myself doing most weeks lately. Pretty much every day, there’s an article about what’s happening in American universities. One article mentions an Arab student who says that she wears earrings in the shape of a “map of ancient Palestine,” and she was almost brought to tears because of the negative reactions of Jewish students.

Too bad we couldn’t see the earrings, since there was never an ancient Palestine as a country with its own leadership and government.

I hope that you, Jerusalem Post writers and editors, have been paying attention to the fact that the Arabs aren’t asking for a “two-state solution.” They want “from the river to the sea,” in other words that Israel will cease to be.

Following the Six Day War in 1967, Israel did not use Jewish biblical names for any of the land liberated in the war. It was clear that – hoping for peace in exchange for land – Golda Meir, who served as prime minister from 1969 to 1974, along with her cabinet didn’t want ownership/sovereignty. Instead they referred to “the West Bank,” “shtachim” (“territories”), and “east Jerusalem,” similar to East and West Berlin.

The fact is that to this day, despite the light rail which travels through all sorts of Jerusalem neighborhoods, the unification of Jerusalem is one-sided. Arabs can freely enter, work, shop, even live in Jewish neighborhoods, while Jews are kept out of Arab neighborhoods.

Now, Diaspora Jews and Israelis seem caught by surprise by the massive pro-Hamas “from the river to the sea” demonstrations all over the world.

Since 1967, our leaders have been playing by the wrong rules. By not using our traditional names for the land liberated in 1967 and deciding not to keep God’s gift for us, they’ve told the world that the land isn’t ours. It’s all in the name. Fixing this mistake won’t be easy, but it must be done.

BATYA MEDAD

Shiloh

I must admit that the letters editor did edit my letter quite a bit, which hadn't been written as tightly as it should have been.

Please think about the points I've made.

It's important to make it clear that being in favor of a Palestinian state is the same as being in favor of the destruction of the State of Israel, Gd forbid. The evil genie is out of the bottle... The Hamas Arabs are unabashedly showing their true stripes.

I'm interested in your opinions, and please share this post, thanks.

Israel Attacked by Hamas 2023/5784, War Musings #6 - CONCEPTZIOT Misconceptions Ad Nauseum, Recipe for Disaster

In 1967, Israel's totally miraculous Six Days War victory "rounded out our borders" to sensible and defensible lines. We were finally surrounded by water and mountains, instead of drunken nonsensical indefensible scribbles on a map. But somehow Israel's Leftist rulers turned that victory into defeat, as they made it clear that most of the land liberated, in a totally defensive war, was being offered to the Arabs in exchange for "peace."

So Sorry We Won, by E. Kishon, Dosh
Call that "conceptzia" misconception #1. The ridiculous idea that the Arabs could be peace partners, coupled with the dangerous idea that we could defend easily defend another zigzag border was based on the double fantasy that Arabs wanted peace and Jordan wanted them back. The label "Palestinian" for the local Arabs was still pretty new; their identities were more connected to the local city. The local Arabs had never thought themselves a single people. The United Nations and an alphabet soup of NGO's have been working hard over the decades to brainwash them to accept their new identity.

"Conceptzia" misconception #2 was that mighty Israel had done such a great job defeating three Arab armies in 1967 that they'd never want to mess with us ever again.

Maybe as the dust settled and the fighting ended, the Arabs feared Israel, but as soon as they realized that Israel wasn't interested in playing strong victor, they lost all respect for us.

Due to some perverse Leftist ideology that we could win over our enemies with kindness, security has gone down and Arab terrorism has been rising. Add to that, for some totally fokokt nonsensical reason, Israel's defense policies have been based on some Christian notion, which isn't obeyed by any Christian country, to "turn the other cheek," to passively absorb aggressive blows. And then there's what you can call "Conceptzia" misconception #3, that if an Arab isn't shooting, stabbing he/she must be an innocent sic civilian.

Instead of being pragmatic and careful the Leftists who still control the IDF, Ministry of Defense, Foreign Ministry, Judicial ad nauseum have been overruling the wishes of the public who vote for parties and politicians who are more REALISTIC aka Right. That's what Judicial Reform is about. Since the Left can't win an election, the justices have decided that they have the right to override/veto laws and decisions voted by Knesset Members who had been elected by Israeli citizens.

That's how Israel has gotten into this war for its very survival.

WE MUST FIGHT TO WIN!

History of Jordan and Palestine in a Nutshell

A little history...

East of these mountains I can see from my house is Jordan...

Here's the very short history of Jordan. It was invented by Britain when they were looking for someone to hold onto the eastern part of the Mandate. The entire Mandate was supposed to become a Jewish State. So the Brits imported a foreign sheik, Abdulla and made up the "Kingdom of Jordan."

Then they and their buddies in the newly formed UN decided that the Jews should share what was left with another Arab "nation", as if Abdulla wasn't Arab. They drew a map, which resembled blood splatter, and told the Jews, grandparents and parent of those rioting against Bibi, that they could have the splotches while the rest would go to the "palestinians." And that's how that "nation" was born.

Ribonut, Sovereignty vs The Trump-Kushner Apartheid Terror Plan

Yesterday I was in Jerusalem and had a bit of time between appointments, so I made my way to the Women in Green's three day "Yes to Sovereignty over the Land of Israel, No to Palestine" conference.

It was good to feel that I was doing more for Jewish Life in the State of Israel than tapping on my computer keyboard, even though I only sat and listened to the speakers. Seeing women and men from all over the country who all agree that we can't play games with our sovereignty and security was reassuring.

Trump's "plan/deal" is a nightmare and diametrically opposed to his original stated policy. He should have stuck with his position that only the parties involved should negotiate, and there should never be an imposed/proposed plan by outsiders.

Now, his so-called Israeli Sovereignty sic requires American approval as if we're under his and Jared Kushner's rule.

The state of Israel is an independent country, and in June, 1967, we were threatened with total destruction by neighboring Arab countries. The results of the war those threats caused was the straightening out of our borders and the liberation of territory which had been used to attack Israel. All international historical precedent is similar situations is that the victorious country absorbs/annexes such territory, and that is what the State of Israel should have done as soon as Jordan, Egypt and Syria surrendered or ceased attacking. Incomprehensibly we didn't, and we've been suffering ever since.

Better late than never, it's the time NOW TO ANNEX ALL LAND ISRAEL HOLDS! If the Arabs don't like it they can leave. Simple.

PALESTINE POSTS, Book Review

PALESTINE POSTS: AN EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT OF THE BIRTH OF ISRAEL By Daniel S. Chertoff is an amazing book. Chertoff found a collection of his father's correspondence written between 1947-1949 when Mordecai S. Chertoff (his father) was here witnessing the end of the British Mandate and the beginning of the State of Israel.

Mordecai Chertoff came to "Palestine" officially to study in Hebrew University but was quickly drafted to the staff of the English newspaper, The Palestine Post, now called The Jerusalem Post. In addition, he joined the Haganah, and later after the establishment of the State of Israel, he became a citizen and was subsequently drafted into the IDF.

The letters Daniel found were from his father to the family in America and letters sent to him from them. Besides the correspondence, Daniel had an incomplete memoir of the time, his father had once started writing. Besides all that, there are many of the articles Mordecai had written for the Post and other publications. Daniel's job was to weave these all together along with a historical narrative informative enough for those less knowledgeable to follow and not too simplistic for those who already know the history. He did a very good job. I can recommend the book to all.

I had a personal need to read the book very carefully. My Uncle Izzy, Israel Shanks "Red" Shankman, was also here in Palestine-Israel at the time. He was in the Palyam, the naval branch of the Palmach as high level crew, medic plus, on some of the ships that defied the British in an attempt to bring Jewish immigrants to safety. It's very possible that they had been acquainted, though my uncle isn't mentioned. My uncle also left Israel for New York, around the same time.

Mordecai's letters are invaluable in describing what life was like in Jerusalem during the long, difficult siege. There was rationing, since water and food were almost impossible to find. The only road Jews could take to Jerusalem, for deliveries of all sorts, went through enemy Arab territory. Attacks were frequent. It's amazing that people survived on such small quantities, but they did.

Due to Mordecai's status in the Haganah and Palestine Post, he got to Tel Aviv on occasion. He writes of the plentiful food and being able to leisurely bathe, both luxuries in Jerusalem. From his letters I discovered that there was a real lack of unity between Jerusalem and "Israel" in the early days of the state. One reason was that the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan Jerusalem was to be a separate entity, not part of Israel. And even after the 1949 ceasefire, travel from the coast to Jerusalem was difficult until Israel's victory in the 1967 Six Days War.

There was only one thing that mars the book. Daniel criticizes his father's words about Arabs fleeing the Jewish State, page 338. Nobody's reading PALESTINE POSTS to discover Daniel's 21st century PC opinions. If another edition is printed, I suggest deleting those comments.

PALESTINE POSTS is a very readable, well-written book. Daniel Chertoff succeeded with a very difficult task. This is a History book, Biography, family memoir and more. The fonts and print-size are easy on my elderly eyes. I highly recommend PALESTINE POSTS: AN EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT OF THE BIRTH OF ISRAEL By Daniel S. Chertoff.

GUEST POST: Remember World Trade Center

Remember the World Trade Center

(a guest post by Mr. Cohen)
===================================

You may ask why I have chosen this
day to remember the destruction of the
World Trade Center and 3,000+ innocent lives,
because September 11 was ten days ago.

My answer is that the World Trade Center
was destroyed on the 23rd day of Elul,
and tomorrow is the 23rd day of Elul.
===================================

It is not enough to remember the names
of the 3,000 victims who died when the
World Trade Center was destroyed by
Arab-Muslim terrorists on 2001 September 11.

Even more important, we must remember:
the names of the 19 terrorists, and
which religion they believed in [Islam] and,
which religion motivated their violence [Islam] and,
which language they spoke [Arabic],
and where they came from [Egypt and Saudi Arabia].

===================================
Yigal Carmon [President of MEMRI dot org] said:

Two months before 9/11, on Qatar’s state-run
Al-Jazeera TV, [Osama] bin Laden was lionized
in a show dedicated to him. He was called
“the No. 1 Arab and Islamic hero” and
“the conscience of the Arab and Islamic world.”

The program host underlined that as
“the [Muslim] nation thirsts deeply
for someone who will confront America...
not with words and slogans,”
and said that bin Laden was
“the right man for this important role.”

And indeed he was.

Israel-Palestinian "Peace Plan" Oxymoron

It seems that Donald Trump let his son-in-law Jared Kushner talk him into a stupid, useless and inevitably dangerous policy, presenting an Israel-Palestinian "Peace Plan." The term is pure oxymoron for sure. The so-called Palestinians sic have no desire for peace. They were invented to terrorize and abort a Jewish State by the British.

This fiction of a "nation," which has no history is the "pet" of innumerable countries, NGOs, media, celebrities etc.

Early on in Donald Trump's career as a politician, he had announced that it was up to the two opposing sides, Jews and Arabs, to negotiate. Too bad he didn't stick with that policy.

It doesn't matter how creative or practical or revolutionary the "peace deal" Kushner and co have come up with, it won't bring peace to the middle east. And they should know perfectly well that a "deal" can't be imposed from outsiders.

These same Arabs that celebrate murder of innocent Jews will not change their deadly cruel culture for anything. They still, supported by the EU, UN and too many others, educate their children to kill, and until this changes and takes effect, there's no chance for peace.

Gd willing, some day there will be true peace, but that will only come when the State of Israel fully annexes all of the Land of Israel and executes all Arab terrorists.

GUEST POST: Time Magazine vs Truth

Time Magazine vs Truth
(a guest post by Mr. Cohen)

This essay is a critical analysis of the article titled:
World Beyond Hope” by Karl Vick, published in
Time Magazine, on 2018 May 28, on page 26.
______________________________________________
In this article about the Palestinians in Gaza, 3 of the 4 pictures
show Palestinians suffering. There are no pictures of Palestinians
holding weapons. Their protests are described twice as peaceful.
______________________________________________
In this article, there was no mention of the fact that the
Palestinian protesters in Gaza repeatedly attempted
to destroy the security wall that protects Israel from terrorists.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that the
protesters were armed with knives, clubs and Molotov Cocktails.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that the
Palestinians in Gaza have repeatedly dug underground
tunnels into Israel, so they could kill and kidnap Israeli civilians.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that the
Palestinians in Gaza have repeatedly sent kites loaded
with flammables into Israel, which has caused numerous
fires, which has destroyed both crops and nature preserves.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that the
Palestinians in Gaza shot thousands of rockets and
missiles into Israel, mostly aimed at civilian targets.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that the
Palestinians have repeatedly rejected peace offers from
Israel, peace offers that would have given them 99%
of what they wanted.

[Or more accurately, the Palestinians were offered 99%
of what they told Western audiences they wanted,
to mislead the Western audiences to believe that
they would accept something less than the total
destruction of Israel, to make themselves seem reasonable.]

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Muslim hatred against Israel and Jews is often inspired
by Islam’s most important sacred writings: the Koran
and Hadiths. Additionally, Muslim hatred against Israel
and Jews is often inspired by the famous anti-Jewish
forgery titled: “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion”,
which is a perennial best-seller in the Muslim world.

This article never mentions the fact that Palestinian
schools and Palestinian mosques teach hate
and lethal violence against Israel and Jews.

This article never mentions the fact that the
Palestinian Authority (PA) gives cash rewards
to the families of terrorists who died while killing Jews.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
thousands of Israeli Jews have been murdered by
Muslims, with countless bombings, car-rammings,
knifings and shootings; the victims have included
teenagers and children and pregnant women.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Hamas, the organization that rules Gaza, is officially
committed to killing ALL Jews, all around the world:
even those Jews who never visited Israel, even those
Jews who are not Zionist, even those Jews who are
anti-Zionist. This is written in the Hamas Charter.
______________________________________________
This article said: “Hamas is SEEN AS
a terrorist group by the US and Europe.”

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Hamas has repeatedly pushed Palestinian civilians,
including children, directly into the line-of-gunfire,
so the news-media could report that Palestinians
were killed by Israeli gunfire.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Hamas uses children to dig underground tunnels into
Israel, so they can kill and kidnap Israeli civilians.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Hamas creates shelters to protect themselves,
but no shelters for Palestinian civilians.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Hamas uses Palestinian civilians, including children,
as Human Shields.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Hamas killed hundreds of Arabs and Muslims,
without trial and without civil rights, because
they were seen as violating Islamic law [Sharia]
or because they were viewed as opponents of Hamas.

All this, and author Karl Vick describes Hamas not
as a terrorist group, but merely as being “SEEN AS
a terrorist group”, as if their status as terrorists
were a mere opinion, that is subject to debate.
______________________________________________
Last, but not least, we speak about the Israelis, who
are the only people portrayed as villains in this article.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Israelis warned Palestinian civilians in advance about
their military activities, to reduce civilian casualties.
This kind of warning is extremely rare,
and you can count on one hand the number
of armies that offer this type of warning.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
every day, Israel sends trucks filled with food and
medical supplies to Gaza. This inconvenient fact
is routinely omitted by news reporters who want
to promote the false idea that Israel is trying to
kill all the Palestinians.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Israel supplies Gaza with water and electricity,
even when terrorists from Gaza shoot dozens
of missiles and rockets at Israeli civilians.

What The New York Times Isn’t Telling You
About Israel’s Gaza ‘Blockade’
www.algemeiner.com/2018/04/08/what-the-new-york-times-isnt-telling-you-about-israels-gaza-blockade/

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Israelis practiced great restraint; they waited for many
months to respond with military force, even when
they were being attacked with thousands of rockets
and missiles from Gaza, which were mostly aimed
at civilian targets.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Israelis practiced great restraint; they waited for many
months to respond with military force, even when
they were being attacked with underground terror tunnels,
designed to kill and kidnap Israeli civilians.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Israelis practiced great restraint; by waiting for many
months to respond with military force, even when
they were being attacked with kites loaded with
flammable materials, flammable materials that
started big forest fires and crop fires.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Israeli is the only democracy in the entire Middle East,
and the only country in the entire Middle East
with modern standards of civil rights, including
freedom of religion and equality for women.

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
in Israel, Arab citizens have voting rights and are
elected to membership in the Israeli Supreme Court
and membership in the Israeli parliament [the Knesset].

In this article, there was no mention of the fact that
Israel’s government gives money to mosques,
where Muslims gather for prayer.
______________________________________________
CONCLUSION:  The article “World Beyond Hope
by Karl Vick contains no context and no balance;
it is a one-sided propaganda essay that whitewashes
the numerous wrongdoings of Arabs and Muslims,
while portraying Israel and Jews and one-dimensional
villains who just want to kill innocent people for no reason.

Another article, which was featured on the front cover
of Time Magazine, attributed 100% of the blame for
Middle East violence on Israel and Jews, while attributing
0% of the blame for Middle East violence on Arabs
and Muslims. I do not remember the name of this article,
but the front cover displayed a large six-pointed star,
like the six-pointed star on the flag of Israel.

“Israel, it ought to be recalled, is the only country in
the world targeted for annihilation.  That has been true
from the day it was proclaimed as a state in 1948 until today.

It was true before Israel was forced to conquer East Jerusalem,
Gaza and the West Bank.

It was true after three Israeli prime ministers: Yitzchak Rabin,
Ehud Barak, and Ehud Olmert, agreed to give up virtually all of
Gaza and the West Bank to the Palestinians to set up a Palestinian state.

It was [still] true after Israel have every inch of Gaza to the Palestinians.

All of which proves that when Palestinian spokesmen say
they want peace, they do not mean peace WITH Israel,
they mean peace WITHOUT Israel.”

"Palestine," sic, is a "Toy!"

The Jerusalem Post had a feature article in its Friday edition titled:
ARE PALESTINIANS READY TO TELL ‘SUPPORTERS’: ‘WE'RE NOT YOUR TOY’?
No surprise, but the writer got the whole "Palestinian thing" all wrong, because it didn't get to the gut/history of the issue.

"Palestine" is the Barbie Doll, the toy invented by anti-Semitic Europeans and British who were determined to sabotage the Zionist efforts to promote Jewish Nationalism and its aim of re-establishing a Jewish State in the Biblical Holyland.

There is absolutely no history of a Palestine, people, nation, culture. And the so-called Kingdom of Jordan is even a bigger fake, invention. The British moved the Hashemites in, even though the land east of the Jordan River was supposed to be part of the Jewish state, and anointed them rulers over the nomads residing there. This was in direct contravention of the Mandate, the assignment the British had been given by the League of Nations.

But as you most probably have noticed, the world didn't care. It's very similar to the way the world powers, at the same basic time, reacted to the rising antisemitism and violence against Jews in Nazi Germany.

And after World War Two, the British did everything in their power to keep Europe's surviving Jews out of the Holyland, while simultaneously helping to strengthen the Arabs.

Yes, there was a United Nations vote November 29, 1947, supporting the establishment of a Jewish State, but it had no "teeth." The Jews would have to survive a "fire test," a war during which surrounding Arabs, armed and trained by the British, would attack them. The UN suggested a further division of land between Jews and Arabs for another new Arab state. They drew a map assigning small amounts of land in various disconnected locations for the "Jewish State." The Jewish Agency accepted it, despite the dangerous borders, but the Arabs refused insisting on more.

After the ceasefire in 1949, Jordan illegally occupied the land not in Jewish hands, including half of Jerusalem. No surprise, that there were no formal complaints by the world powers of the time or from the United Nations.

In the decades since, these same countries, diplomats and NGOs have been creating their Barbie doll, financing "her" every whim, paying for everything and turning a blind eye when their toy literally terrorizes Israel. And in 1967 when the Arab countries surrounding Israel gathered their forces and threatened destruction of the Jewish State, nobody cared or tried to stop them. The State of Israel fought a brilliant and miraculous war in which not only did it survive but it liberated all the land to the Jordan River, the Sinai and the Golan Heights. Only then did the world get angry. World powers, NGOs etc got angry with the State of Israel. And then their toy, the so-called "Palestinians" were given a makeover to look moderate and deserving.

The  so-called "Palestinians" are a toy. It never would have existed if other countries hadn't invented it. It's no more than a bloody Barbie doll.

Who Are the Palestinians?
by Yashiko Sagamori  --  2002 November 25

Yashiko Sagamori is a New York-based
Information Technology consultant.
=========================================
If you are so sure that "Palestine, the country, goes back
through most of recorded history", I expect you to be able
to answer a few basic questions about that country of "Palestine":

1. When was it founded and by whom?

2. What were its borders?

3. What was its capital?

4. What were its major cities?

5. What constituted the basis of its economy?

6. What was its form of government?

7. Can you name at least one Palestinian leader before Arafat?

8. Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence,
at that time or now, leaves no room for interpretation?

9. What was the [unique] language of the country of Palestine?

10. What was the prevalent religion of the country of Palestine?

11. What was the name of its currency? Choose any date in history
and try and find the approximate exchange rate of the Palestinian
monetary unit against the US dollar, German mark, British pound,
Japanese yen, or Chinese yuan on that date.

12. Have the Palestinians left any artifacts behind?

13. Do you know of a library where one could find a work
of Palestinian literature produced before 1967 CE?

14. And, finally, since there is no such country today,
what caused its demise and when did it occur?

If you are lamenting the "low sinking" of "once proud"
nation, then please tell me, when exactly was that "nation"
proud and what was it so proud of?

And here is the least sarcastic question of all: If the people
you mistakenly call "Palestinians" are anything but generic
Arabs collected from all over - or thrown out of - the Arab
world, if they really have a genuine ethnic identity that gives
them right for self-determination, why did they never try
to become independent until Arabs suffered their devastating
defeat by Israel in the 1967 Six Day War?

I hope you avoid the temptation to trace the modern-day
"Palestinians" to the Biblical Philistines: substituting
etymology for history won´t work here.

The truth should be obvious to everyone who wants to know it.
Arab countries have never abandoned the dream of destroying
Israel; they still cherish it today. Having time and again failed
to achieve their evil goal through military means, they decided
to fight Israel by proxy.
For that purpose, they created a terrorist organization, cynically
called it "the Palestinian people" and installed it in Gaza, Judea,
and Samaria.  How else can you explain the refusal by Jordan
and Egypt to unconditionally accept back the "West Bank"
and Gaza, respectively, in the aftermath of the 1967 war?

The fact is, Arabs populating Gaza, Judea, and Samaria have
much less of a claim to nationhood than the American Indian
tribe that successfully emerged in Connecticut with the purpose
of starting a tax-exempt casino: at least that tribe had a constructive
goal that motivated them.
The so-called "Palestinians" have only one motivation:
the destruction of Israel. In my book that is not sufficient to
consider them a "nation" -- or anything else -- except what they
really are: a terrorist organization that will one day be dismantled.

In fact, there is only one way to achieve piece in the Middle East.
Arab countries must acknowledge and accept their defeat in
their war against Israel and, as the losing side, should pay Israel
reparations for the more than 50 years of devastation they have
visited upon it. The most appropriate form of such reparations
would be the removal of their terrorist organization from the
land of Israel and acceptance of Israel´s ancient sovereignty
over Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.

That will mark the end of the Palestinian people.
What are you saying again was its beginning?

======================================
What happened to the Philistines? by Mr. Cohen
======================================
Some Palestinians claim to be descendants of the Philistines,
an ancient nation that is mentioned in the Bible.  This claim
is very unlikely to be true, because around the year 600 BCE,
King Nebuchadnezzar [king of Babylon] destroyed most of
the Philistines, and the rest were deported to Babylon.

According to the article titled: “Who Were the Philistines?
written by Owen Jarus, which appeared in Live Science
magazine on 2016 July 16:

“The Philistines disappear from written history during the 6th century B.C. when the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II (reign ca. 605 BC – c. 562 BC) conquered the region and destroyed several cities, including Ashkelon [which was their main city].”

======================================
Josephus and the Philistines by Mr. Cohen
======================================
Michael Avioz wrote an essay titled: “The Philistines in Josephus’ Writings”.
In the final paragraph of this essay, which is titled “Conclusion”, he says:

               “Unlike the Egyptians, the
               Philistines no longer existed
             in Josephus’ own life-time.”

Since the famous historian Josephus lived around 2,000 years ago
in the Holy Land [which was then called the land of Judea] this
means that the Philistines were already vanished from the Holy Land
around 2,000 years ago.  Therefore, claims that the Palestinians
are descendants of the Biblical Philistines are very unlikely to be true.

======================================
Where did the Philistines come from? by Mr. Cohen
======================================

The ancient Philistines originated from the
AEGEAN area, according to the World Book
Encyclopedia, volume 15 (letter P), page 382, 2017.

The Aegean Sea is part of Greece.  Therefore,
the Philistines were Greeks. They were NOT
indigenous to the Land of Israel; they were foreign.

======================================
Where did the Philistines live? by Mr. Cohen
======================================

The ancient Philistines lived in what is now
southwestern Israel, according to the World Book
Encyclopedia, volume 15 (letter P), page 382, 2017.

Therefore, if the Palestinians have any claim
to the Land of Israel that is based on the
ancient Philistines, then that claim is limited to
southwest Israel, also known as Gaza.

Four Quotes about Palestine
======================================

***** QUOTE 1: *****

Zuheir Mohsen, a leader of the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization),
said this in an interview with Trouw (a Dutch daily newspaper) in March 1977:

“The Palestinian people does not exist.

The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing
our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality,
today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians,
Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons
do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people,
since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence
of a distinct Palestinian people to oppose Zionism."

***** QUOTE 2: *****

"From the end of the Jewish state in antiquity to the beginning
of British rule, the area now designated by the name Palestine was
not a country and had no frontiers, only administrative boundaries…"

SOURCE:
Professor Bernard Lewis, Commentary Magazine, January 1975

***** QUOTE 3: *****

"There is no such thing as a Palestinian Arab nation...

Palestine is a name the Romans gave to Israel with the express
purpose of infuriating the Jews...

Why should we use the spiteful name meant to humiliate us?

The British chose to call the land they mandated Palestine,
and the Arabs picked it up as their nation's supposed ancient name,
though they couldn't even pronounce it correctly and turned it into
Falastin a fictional entity."

SOURCE: Golda Meir quoted by Sarah Honig,
Jerusalem Post, 25 November 1995

***** QUOTE 4: *****

"Palestine has never existed . . . as an autonomous entity.
There is no language known as Palestinian.
There is no distinct Palestinian culture.
There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians.

Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians
(another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.

Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands.  Israel represents one-tenth of one percent of the landmass.
But that's too  much for the Arabs.  They want it all.

And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today . . .
No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make,
it will never be enough."

an Arab-American editor and journalist,

======================================
Why did the Oslo peace treaty fail?
======================================

“[The] Olso [peace treaty] also failed because the Palestinians,
while talking peace in English, continued to build hate
against Israelis in Arabic, in their mosques and textbooks.

And they continued to draw maps of a future
Palestinian state that erased Israel.”
