Hamas/Gaza War Musings #35- Bibi's Foolishly Playing to the Democrats

We've all heard the saying that trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results is a definition of insanity and the most accurate way of describing Prime Minister Binyamin Bibi Netanyahu's security policies --how he ends wars--

That's why we're in the mess we've been in the past year plus. The mess is the war. We've been attacked every year or two since early into Bibi's reign as Israel's Prime Minister. I don't understand why so many, otherwise brilliant, people vote for him, trust him and politically worship him. Netanyahu has been giving us a 21st century appeasement policy.

We haven't won any of these wars; we just end them, first cousin to surrender. Bibi claims that "we showed the Arabs that we're stronger, can't push us around." Duh?!? It has never worked. If it's the right policy there wouldn't be fighting a dangerous war for Israel's survival since October 7, 2023. It's clear. I'm a CPA's daughter and 1+1=2. This isn't even Second Grade Arithmetic. Why are so many people dumb when it comes to politics?

And now I keep hearing that we're letting the Americans, those deceitful allies, sic, negotiate a deal/ceasefire with Hizbolla. Beyond insanity, these are the Democrats, the party of Obama, AOC, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and Biden, who's no better than any of the others.

The tough war savvy crew Donald Trump has been nominating is certainly horrified. Horrified because we're not showing any war smarts, none of the heroism Trump is old enough to remember well from 1967.

If I sound depressed, it's because I am depressed. IMHO Bibi is only making things worse. When Trump tells Israel to finish the war, he means WIN IT!

I know what you want to ask me. "Who should replace Bibi?" Right? Honestly, I want to postpone elections as long as legally possible, because Israel can't afford raising the level of competition/disagreement/debate among citizens. If Netanyahu would only resign from all public offices, then the next in line in Likud would become Prime Minister. No elections needed.

Our soldiers are fighting hard, not only against Arab terrorists but also against some bad policies of the higher ups, those above the glass ceiling. Elections would cause too many internal fights.

I know that some people are certainly upset that I've written this. But I can't stay quiet, sorry. If you agree with me, please share this post, thanks. I'm looking forward to your comments, too.

Nothing's New! אין חדש תחת השמש These Old Buttons Say It Best

Who should be edited in over Yitzchak Rabin*?

I suggest one of the "NOW" leaders. Basically whoever (among Israelis) is pushing a "deal" with the Hamas/Gazans instead of defeating them, until they beg us to stop.

We must stop begging!!!!!

Israel's demand re: the hostages, most who have been imprisoned by Hamas/Gaza must be LET MY PEOPLE GO, not LET'S MAKE A DEAL. Negotiation, making a deal just makes danger, bad business and, as we saw with the Gilad Shalit fiasco, more kidnapped Israelis.

*The Oslo disaster is one of the causes of today's Hamas/Gaza war against Israel.

US Kushner-Greenblatt "Peace Plan" Dangerous Lala Land

I was going to title this:
US Kushner-Greenblatt can take their "Peace Plan" and...
But I was afraid that the "internet police" would find it offensive. Honestly, I find all these so-called Peace Plans sic worse than offensive and foolish. They are dangerous and only encourage the Arab terrorists to murder more Jews.

Whoever keeps on trying to negotiate with and coddle the PA Arabs, whether Fatah or Hamas, is just following in the footsteps of Neville Chamberlain. Chamberlain's Appeasement policy and so-called "Peace" agreement with Hitler strengthened Hitler and endangered Europe and Great Britain in one foolish/mistaken stroke.

I hate watching  people who should know much better insist on lying to us and themselves. There is no way to make true  peace with people who not only want us dead and gone, but they support and idolize terrorism against us.

The only way to encourage peace is for us to be stronger and declare ZERO TOLERANCE OF TERRORISM. All Arab terrorists caught in the act are to be immediately executed. And the Death Sentence for convicted Arab terrorists must be mandatory, whether male, female, young or old.

Arab terrorists who try to invade Israel must be shot on the spot. That's the only language they understand.

Peace will take generations, but life will gradually be safer if the policies I listed are followed.

There are many Arabs who prefer living in peace with us, but present policies make their lives dangerous. They, too, are attacked by Arab terrorists.

The world would be better off if Kushner and Greenblatt stop their "peace talk" and condemn all Arab terrorism.

Peace- Return to Sender!

Of course we don't know the backstory to Elvis Presley's iconic song, "Return to Sender," which makes the singer into a victim.  This morning when I checked some news sites to get an idea for a topic to blog about, I saw that United States President Donald Trump is trying to raise his "approval ratings" at Israel's expense by hoping his hapless staff can do what no other has done before, broker a peace deal between Israel hand her sworn enemies.
Saudi crown prince discusses Mideast peace with U.S. officials
TRUMP’S TEAM ARRIVES ONCE AGAIN TO REIGNITE DIPLOMATIC PROCESS
In my long and intamate half century acquaintance with the reality of the State of Israel, its history, security problem and day to day living, its pretty obvious that the only thing that peace talks ever ignite are terror death and war.

Just a few days ago, I was at the local Shiloh Cemetery for the funeral of an old man, who had davka died of "natural causes," but many of those buried there were the victims of Arab terrorism. That includes the very first body, the one that resulted in the opening of the cemetery. That was Rachella Druk, HaYa"D, a young mother of seven who had been murdered by an Arab terrorist on the Eve of the Madrid Peace, sic, Conference.

Other terror victims in our cemetery are Avihu Keinan, Shmuel Yerushalmi, Noam Apter, Yehuda Shoham... They were all so young, leaving grieving parents, siblings, other family members and friends. We mourn them...

Terrorism is a result of a very dangerous and sick society and culture. Europe is now beginning to recognize that it, too, is a target. I haven't heard of anyone insisting that the Spanish Government negotiate with ISIS or whatever group is behind the recent terror attacks there. There's no "deal" any government can make to placate terrorists, no matter how impressive the ceremony.

The Arab Muslim world glorifies terrorism, praises and rewards the terrorists and their families. And the Western World excuses them and supports many of their claims, which is the situation here in Israel. This must stop for there to be peace. It is much too widespread for "negotiations," and as we all see in the news, it's not isolated here in Israel.

Arab terrorism must be defeated and not negotiated with!

Guest Post: Obama’s Silence

Obama’s Silence
a complete transcript of a
YouTube video by Mr. Pat Condell
SOURCE:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1PnMWCOeH4
a guest post by Mr. Cohen

“The so-called Arab-Spring has been a winter-of-persecution for Christians in particular,
who are being driven-out, as Sharia [Islamic religious law] is driven-in.”

Like the Jews before them, Christians are being ethnically-cleansed from Muslim countries,
but the Western media do not want to talk about it, because it means having to focus on
the hateful supremacist doctrine of Islam; an ideology that confers inferior status on
non-believers and demands their submission as dhimmis.”

“Those noble Egyptian soldiers who refused to fire on their Muslim brothers during the Revolution, had no such qualms about shooting unarmed Christians in the street, for protecting against unprovoked Muslim violence. Such is the insanity that even in Syria, despite being murdered in their thousands by their own government, the rebels have found time to put Christians on-notice to leave.”

“Now I am no fan of Christianity, but I am a fan of civilization and justice, and both of those things seem to be in very short supply in a part of the world where Christianity is being systematically erased while the Christian President of the United States says nothing and looks the other way for fear of causing offense. He is a Christian, isn't he?”

“I know some people think [USA President] Obama is a Muslim, because his middle-name is Hussein, and because he bowed to the Saudi King like a vassal, and because he sucks-up to Islam every chance he gets, because he humiliated his country by apologizing to Islamic-terrorists, and because his administration is crippled by a chronic Political Correctness that empowers jihadis pretending to be Americans. But I would not say that makes the President a Muslim; I'd say that makes him a dhimmi, and I think he and his administration are doing their best to turn the United States into a dhimmi nation.”

“Recently he welcomed the election of an Islamist President in Egypt, a man who during his campaign, a campaign supported by the US government, made the statement:”

“The Quran is our Constitution, the prophet is our leader,
jihad is our path, and death-in-the-name-of-Allah is our goal.”

“A man who belongs to an organization that has vowed in its charter to infiltrate Western society and destroy it from within. In short, the new Egyptian President is a jihadi which is a word the Obama administration can't even bring itself to use, in case somebody gets offended.”

“It is actually quite amusing to watch an American government spokesman wriggling around trying not to say the words Islamic or Jihad, when talking about Islamic Jihad.”

“Until you realize the level of denial you are actually witnessing and you can't help wonder if it is possible to trust this person's judgment, or their word, about anything at all.”

“Oh and you might like to know that despite the First Amendment, the Obama administration is behaving on the world-stage as if free-speech is actually negotiable.”

“Right now, they are engaged in dialogue with a bunch of Islamic dictatorships to

help them find ways of curbing free speech through the United Nations Human Rights Council, when what passes for human rights in any of those places will be against the law in the civilized world, and the only dialogue any of them deserve is three short words:
GO TO HELL. Oh and PS, stop murdering Christians.”

“[President] Obama wants to be cozy with Islam, because he has got an Islamic background himself, and because he wants to be cozy with the Third World in general. He isn't just America's first Black President, he is America's first Third-World President and that is his problem.”

“There must be a part of Obama that just feel so guilty about going to America becoming successful, and leaving all those people behind, that he just has to reach-out and say:
Hey people it’s me, Barry; You still like me, don't you?”

“But they don't like him, because they despise weakness, especially in the Islamic World. And there, he is even less popular than George W. Bush, which is something I would have thought a person would have to work at, but Obama has managed it effortlessly.”

“And he is getting less popular in the First World as well, because people can see how he deals with Islamic extremists, and they can see that he is not actually fit to be President of the United States.”

“Now don't get me wrong, he may be fit to lead another country; a European country perhaps, where fundamental rights are not quite so important. Besides, he is a European by instinct anyway:
an accommodationist, a compromiser, a dhimmi. He does not realize that the American President has a duty beyond American to the whole free world, to stand up for American values, not Third-World values, because despite all the propaganda, they are not in fact equal.”

“If Christians are being persecuted in the Muslim World purely because of their religion -- and they are -- the American President has a duty to speak out loudly and often until somebody listens.”

“Instead, this [USA] President chooses to remain silent; he chooses to continue shoveling bucket-loads of American taxpayer’s money into the Arab World without even a polite request that they stop murdering Christians.”

“And if you think that is slimy, every year the US State Department issues a report on the state of Human Rights, in all UN member countries. This year, for the first time, they removed the section on religious freedom, thus neatly side-stepping the need to acknowledge the violent persecution of Christians since the glorious revolution for freedom and democracy.”

“Who would have thought that the United States, of all countries, would so cravenly turn- its-back on persecuted Christians in their darkest hour, just so as not to offend their Muslim persecutors?
America, thanks to this President, is already a dhimmi. Peace.”

Arab Terrorism Caused by Israel's Weakness

When I was a high school English Teacher in a yeshiva high school, and I'd want to give a hint to my students of what the Hebrew for "doubt" is I'd ask them to give a word with the same gematria as Amalek. And they quickly shouted out:
" ספק,  saffek."

Chazal say that our eternal enemies, Amalek, can sniff out our weaknesses and that's when they attack. In another couple of weeks will be Shabbat Zachor, the Shabbat before Purim when we are commanded to remember what Amalek had done to us.
“Zachor Et Asher Asa Lecha Amalek BaDerech Betzetchem MiMitzrayim”“Remember what Amalek did to you on your way out of Egypt! (Dvarim 25)”On the Shabbat that precedes Purim, two Torah scrolls are taken from the ark; one for the regular parsha and one for the Maftir – ‘Remember what Amalek did to you’ (Dvarim 25). Because of this reading, it is called, Shabbat Zachor (Remember). The Haftorah also deals with Amalek.
There is a mitzvah in the Torah to remember Amalek and his descendants and to orally recall their iniquity. We are to tell our children in each generation what the people of Amalek did to us during our departure from Egypt. This mitzvah will be fulfilled completely only when we shall have caused Amalek’s memory to perish, and their name to be erased from the world, together with the slightest remnant of anything that bears their name. As the Torah says: ‘Remember what Amalek did to you on the way, upon your departure from Egypt’… ‘You shall erase the memory of Amalek from beneath the heavens, you shall not forget.’ Upon which the Sages have expounded: ‘Remember,’ orally – ‘You shall not forget,’ in your heart. (OU)
The great weakness of Modern Zionism has always been the yearning for peace between Jews and Arabs in the Land of Israel. This made us more accommodating and accepting of the terror and cruelty that Arabs have exhibited from the very beginning until this very day. And it has also caused a "guilt complex," because most Jews, dangerously, believe that Arabs have equal if not stronger rights to be here in the Land of Israel.

Modern, Liberal (with a capital "L") philosophy cannot accept the Biblically based concept that the Jewish People are the One  and only One Chosen People of Gd.

For well over a century, ever since the very beginning of Modern Zionism, the return of the Jewish People from all over the World to the Holyland to establish a Jewish State, there have been attempts to placate the Arabs. There have been three very dangerous results:

  • Arabs from all over have been attracted to live in the Land of Israel, greatly increasing the once minimal population. And even if they themselves had recently arrived from Syria, Egypt etc. they all claim that their families have lived here forever.
  • Arab terrorism against Jews became an accepted, because the Arabs know that they are lightly punished and treated as ordinary criminals, if punished at all.
  • By accepting Arab rights to be here and inventing an Arab nationalism which is called Palestine, sic, Jewish Rights to the Land of Israel have been marginalized by Jews and non-Jews alike.
The best way and only way to stop Arab terrorism is to stop being sorry for our victories. This Land is not to be shared with Arabs. It is our Land, the only Jewish Land there is. Anyone who does not accept full Israeli/Jewish sovereignty over the Entire Land of Israel should just leave and look for a land of his/her own. And not everyone is of a land-based people.

We will only have peace when we fully defeat the enemy and stop trying to be nice!!

Anger and Disgust Among Israelis re: the New Ceasefire Deal

To quote a few friends:
I just heard the news at 11 p.m. with the terms of the cease fire and I want to PUKE! It sounds as if we gave them EVERYTHING they asked for.....or just about. This is an agreement that sounds like we LOST 'Tzuk Eitan.' (I hate that name and in Eng.- 'Protective Edge.' )
I'm so totally fed up. Yes, I'm relieved there's no rocketing, but AT WHAT PRICE???????
Going off to read a bit and sleep. Phooey to this gov't. Gutless.
and
Whatever the government has agreed to is irrelevant. Hamas isn't going to keep any agreements and we have no idea how the government/army is going to react. Bibi isn't sinister; some other politicians are. He doesn't have the guts to do what he knows he should do.
and
Ladies...This could mean more rockets..
Head of Fathi Hamas: ceasefire ended without our demands, all the options open to us to protect our people. (Translated by Bing)
I don't think anybody will admit to believing that the new ceasefire deal will bring even a semblance of lasting peace for Israel.
Israel, Palestinians renew truce but see risk of more Gaza violence

(Reuters) - The chief Palestinian delegate to truce talks withIsrael warned on Tuesday that Gaza violence could erupt anew unless progress is made toward a lasting deal ahead of a midnight deadline in Egyptian-brokered talks.
After a last-minute agreement was stuck with Israel to extend an expiring truce by 24 hours, Azzam al-Ahmad, senior leader of President Mahmoud Abbas's mainstream Fatah movement, said in Cairo that there had been "no progress on any point" in talks aimed at resolving the Gaza conflict.
"We hope that every minute of the coming 24 hours will be used to reach an agreement, and if not (successful), the circle of violence will continue," Ahmad said.
He accused Israel of "maneuvering and stalling" as gaps on key issues continued to dog efforts to achieve a long-term deal between Israel and militant groups in the Gaza Strip, dominated by Hamas Islamists, which would allow reconstruction aid to flow in after five weeks of fighting.
Senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk accused Israel of stalling and insisted in a post on his Twitter account that the group "will never cede any" demands for a comprehensive deal. (Reuters)
Then why has Israel agreed?

The Arab terrorists of Gaza, who are intimately allied with Abbas/Fatah just keep on increasing their demands on Israel. And the demands on Isrel are extremely dangerous for the security and continued existance of the Jewish State.

We should stop all negotiations with the Arab terrorists.  There's no way to make a peace agreement. A "deal" is like telling a sexually abused woman to marry her rapist.

No Surprise that New Labor Party Leader Herzog is Enamored With PA Abbas

Photo AFP
Yesterday I caught a bit of the Israeli news and saw Isaak Herzog, newly elected head of Israel's Labor Party and largest parliamentary opposition glowing like a virgin groom at his wedding.  He was sitting together with  Abbas in Ramallah.
Herzog meets with Abbas: 'We have partner for peace'"We have a partner that is ready to go the distance for peace and take original, brave steps on core issues," Herzog said following the meeting.
And davka during Chanukah...

I find the Yahoo headline rather ironic:
Israel's Herzog calls for 'brave' steps in peace talks
"The current negotiations brokered by the United States provide a historic opportunity for peace between Israel and the Palestinians, particularly because president Abbas has a real desire to achieve peace," Herzog told a news conference after the meeting.View gallery."The chairman of Israel's Labor party Isaac Herzog (C), …
"I will carry that message to the prime minister... (and) we will try to put pressure on the Israeli government to take brave positions to achieve peace and security for our children," he added.
He said Labour rejects the construction of Jewish settlements "on Palestinian land" and has voiced opposition to recent plans for the construction of 20,000 settler homes in the West Bank.
What he proposes isn't Jewish Maccabee bravery of ancient times.  It's Chamberlain and Vichy policies in the face of Nazi cruelty and antisemitism.  Chamberlain's agreement didn't bring peace for Great Britain and France's Vichy Government didn't bring freedom and independence for France. The Nazis attempted to be the Greeks of their time, and those who followed them were the Hellenists.  Today it's "western society/values" led by the United States that tries to dominate culture, religion and thought.  Israel and the Jewish People must reject them and do only what is truly Jewish and best for the Jewish People and State of Israel.

The fact that Herzog's political party is called the "Labor Party" should make us remember that the basis of its ideology is a non-Jewish social and economic philosophy, Socialism.  Instead of this "romance" with the Arab Abbas, Herzog should immerse himself in Jewish values.
Only full Israeli sovereignty in the entire Land of Israel will bring us true peace, and the fake version will be deadly.

Obama, The Appeasement President

United States President Barack Hussein Obama has it all wrong.  Being nice to a dangerous bully does not make him nice; it makes him more dangerous and powerful.  Tightening sanctions against Iran will not cause war.
Obama warns of 'unintended' effect of more Iran sanctionsUS President Barack Obama warned Thursday against imposing further sanctions on Iran, saying a deal would set back Tehran's quest for nuclear weapons capability and prevent the "unintended consequences" of war.
If the sanctions got Iran to the negotiating table that should show that there was some value to them. Although in all honesty, I don't see any great accomplishment in Iran's agreement to "half" their production.
"What we have done is seen the possibility of an agreement in which Iran would halt advances on its program," Obama told a news conference a week after talks involving the United States and Iran in Geneva.
That is worse than no agreement.

  • It officially sanctions Iranian nuclear development
  • It shows western, especially United States' weakness towards Iran
  • It trusts Iran, taking them at their word
The bottom line is that it's all a farce.

The IAEA-Iran Agreement: A Palliative?INSS Insight No. 485, November 14, 2013
The agreement between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran, announced on November 11, 2013, is a culmination of sorts of many years of disagreement between these two parties. The IAEA has long sought the right to inspect all nuclear-related facilities and sites in Iran, including the right to search for undeclared facilities. More specifically, the IAEA wanted Iran to reinstate IAEA rights under the Additional Protocol, which permits intrusive inspections, and to address the many questions regarding the possible military dimensions of Iran’s nuclear program. Yet while the new agreement is “nice to have,” it does not have much more than a placebo effect, where the patient, in this case the world, believes that it is receiving a true palliative. Unfortunately, this is not the case here.
This would all be funny if it wasn't so potentially tragic. It's the curse of those who don't learn from history being forced to repeat it.  Deja vu, it's appeasement time again.
Chamberlain and Hitler
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaAppeasement in a political context, is a diplomatic policy of making political or material concessions to a (potential) enemy power (or powers) in order to avoid a threatened conflict.[1] Appeasement was used by European democracies in the 1930s who wished to avoid war with the dictatorships of Germany and Italy, bearing in mind the horrors of World War I.
The term is most often applied to the foreign policy of the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain towards Nazi Germany between 1937 and 1939. His policies of avoiding war with Germany have been the subject of intense debate for seventy years among academics, politicians and diplomats. The historians' assessments have ranged from condemnation for allowing Adolf Hitler's Germany to grow too strong, to the judgement that he had no alternative and acted in Britain's best interests. At the time, these concessions were widely seen as positive, and the Munich Pact concluded on 30 September 1938 among Germany, Britain, France and Italy prompted Chamberlain to announce that he had secured "peace for our time".[2]
It didn't work against Hitler, and it certainly won't work against Iran.  Did Barack Hussein Obama and his advisers and staff ever learn basic World History?
