You Don't Have To Be A Graphologist to See That Israeli Youth Didn't Burn Arab Home in Duma

Just look at these two pictures.

When Jewish youth were blamed for the Duma arson because of the "Tag Machir," "Price Tag," תג מחיר style graffiti, I immediately said that I know of no Israeli kid with handwriting like that. The Israeli education system produces graduates with horrendous handwriting, more in the style you see in the lower photo.

Consider this another of my "dumb questions." What do you think?

SPIES!!

For the past few weeks, this has been the view to the east of us in Shiloh.

No, it isn't some hot-air balloon with spectators in a basket touring on high. It's believed to be a spy! My camera couldn't catch it, but I see flashing lights under it.

We all know about the high tech spy satellites the Americans have photographing every garden shed and dog house in Shiloh and other Jewish communities in Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley etc. This balloon is low tech and constant. I don't know how many there are nor how powerful its machinery is, but we believe that its controllers are convinced that it can discover the so-called "price tag" Jewish "terrorists" sic.

From sic to sick...

I think it's pretty sick that the government is so convinced that Jews set fire to that house in Duma, which resulted in the death of three Arabs that they haven't been investigating in other directions. Actually, the police haven't been able to pin in on anyone, any Jew, which is why they have the spy camera up there trying to record everything like in the television show, Person of Interest. At least that is the story we've been hearing about that balloon.

If you take a good look at the writing on the scene in Duma, it does not look like it was written by a Jewish Israeli male.

Actually, it is not a writing font style taught in Jewish schools here at all! Handwriting has styles, like spoken language has accents. And this writing style is more like Arabic than Hebrew.

Another important point is the that the Dawabshe home is well inside the village and the chance that some Jewish youth, unfamiliar with the village, having safely made their way in, burnt the house, wrote the message and then got out safely is impossible. That's as realistic as a James Bond movie.

In addition there have been other fires in homes of that clan, which have been blamed on feuding and "electricity problems" sic.

But the Israeli Government and Police have not given up; they are still looking for Jews to frame.

Disproportionate: Arab Terrorism versus Jewish Responses

Just last summer, the world was complaining, unabashedly, that not enough Jews/Israelis had been killed in our war with the Gazans. They didn't like the disproportionate numbers of Arab dead verses Jewish dead. The Arabs attacked more, but fewer of us died and more of them did. They bandied around the word "disproportionate" as it it was a mystical formula that proved Israeli cruelty to Arabs. In theory, they would have had approved of our defensive actions better if more of us had been killed, but Gd in His Mercy refused to cooperate. And of course one of the reasons for the disproportionate numbers could have been that the Arabs were exaggerating their dead...

Now, the world and too many Israelis are up in arms against the possibly one or few Israelis who allegedly firebombed an Arab house burning a toddler to death.

If anything is disproportionate it's this.

Count the amount of Arab attacks on Jews versus the retaliations of Jews against Arabs.

So compare the numbers. What do you think? I think that Disproportionate is the word. Disproportionately too many Arab attacks on Jews have been happening. Actually the numbers have always been similar.

We are not supposed to grin and bear it, turn the other cheek etc. What we must do is the stop the terrorism, and being pacifists isn't the way!! If you want to do it legally, there's one way. Apply the law of Arab terrorists and institute mandatory death penalty on all attempts at murder, whether, shooting, stoning, stabbing or firebombs. And let those convicted terrorists threatening hunger strikes starve to death. Most will voluntarily begin to eat.

Shoot/Condemn The Heater! Not a "Price Tag" Attack

Everyone is so quick to condemn Jews, apologize for alleged "price tag" attacks and even for totally legitimate defensive actions. After the 1967 Six Days War, there was a brilliant book of satire with a title that is as applicable now as it was then, "So Sorry We Won," By Ephraim Kishon and illustrated by Dosh Kariel Gardosh. There's something so dangerously fokokt in the Israeli and Jewish psyche, that we can't properly defend ourselves. We're embarrassed when we win and sabotage our own security and good name.

Not long ago there was a fire in a mosque, and of course it was blamed on Jews--
"Price tag" the Arabs, the Israeli media, politicians, religious leaders and all sorts of foreigners were so quick to condemn Jews for the fire. And here in Israel, there were also apologies for the despicable act.

The wave of incitement and violence made clear that the Palestinians were the aggressors, and the Israelis were the victims. No wonder Israel’s critics in the international news media seemed almost gleeful when they heard the news of a fire-bombing at a West Bank mosque. Here was the ammunition they needed to construct a new narrative — a chance to “prove” that the Palestinians weren’t the only violent aggressors.
A major article in the international news section of The New York Times on Nov. 12 announced: “Further charging the atmosphere at a time of heightened Israeli-Palestinian tensions and religious friction, a mosque in a village in the West Bank was damaged overnight in what was said to be an arson attack, and a firebomb was thrown at an old synagogue in an Arab town in northern Israel, the police said.”
“Said to be an arson attack?” Said by whom? Well, actually it was the mayor of Ramallah, Faraj al-Naassaneh, whose sole basis for calling it arson was that “only Jewish settlers would do this.”

Jews and Israelis all over were so quick to apologize and condemn, but no surprise the guilty party was a heater that malfunctioned and caused the fire.

Have you heard any apologies?

More foreign leaders condemned the fire in the mosque than have condemned the attack, the burning firebomb aka Molotov cocktail thrown on the car of the Jewish father and daughter the other night that has the eleven year old fighting for her life. And G-d willing she'll survive and then have to deal with complicated plastic surgery. Even here in Israel there have been fewer condemnations of the Arabs who attacked Ayala Shapiro, please pray for Ayelet bat Rut, than there were condemnations of the so-called "price tag terrorists" sic.

Thank G-d, at least the terrorists have been captured, arrested and already confessed their crime.

According to their statements, the two, armed with Molotov cocktails, walked along a road leading from Ma'ale Shomron to Matan with the intention of firebombing Israeli vehicles.
They waited on the side of the road, and lit a Molotov cocktail after seeing Israeli vehicles pass through. One car caught fire, and the suspects then fled back to Azoun, the Shin Bet said.

IMHO all Arab terrorists should get the death penalty. We shouldn't hold them in jail, feed them, educate them and then end up releasing them.

Yoohoo! Has anyone heard foreign condemnation of Arab Terror Attacks on Israelis, Buses and Trains?

Hardly a day passes when you can't find some American, United Nations, European, so-called humanitarian or whatever other type of self-proclaimed expert on legality and propriety proclaiming that Israel has sinned against the Arabs.

The American State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki condemned Israelis for unproven "price tag attacks" against olive trees, but can't be bothered to condemn the Arabs who attacked an Israeli bus in Jerusalem.

Psaki also hasn't "wasted any words" condemning the frequent attacks by Arabs on the Jerusalem lightrail which has left many Israelis without sufficient public transportation.  It's obvious that the American Government doesn't consider Israeli lives as valuable and important as allegedly Arab olive trees.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon couldn't be bothered to condemn Arabs for the attacks here, while he wasn't shy about condemning Israel for bombing rocket-launching sites in Gaza during last summer's war. Even the pro-Gazan international media admitted that the Arab Gazan terrorists had set up their war machine in schools and hospitals. Even the United Nations schools there discovered bombs/rockets to be used against Israel.

After visiting a U.N. school at which 15 people were killed, Ban said the "enormous destruction in Gaza is a source of pain to me personally and is a shame to the international community".
He also condemned militants' use of U.N. schools for hiding rockets, which Israel cited as the reason for attacking U.N. sites during the conflict.
"Over the summer, weapons were also found in empty schools. We informed the world. United Nations facilities must be inviolable," he said

But Ban showed no compassion for innocent Israelis who are frequently attacked by Arab terrorists when on Jerusalem buses and the lightrail.

There is serious "tunnel vision" when it comes to how the world sees what's happening here in the Middle East. Attacks on Jews are ignored while anything that happens to the Arabs are blamed on us as if we're the cause of the violence.

I work with Arabs, and I know from conversations with them that they fear their fellow Arabs, but they don't fear us Jewish Israelis.

"I then made sure that there were no pictures showing any staff, Jew or Arab on my camera."

There can never be peace here until the "world" fully supports Israel against Arab terrorism.

Terrorism? Price Tag? Or Just Plain Immoral Vandalism?

I have a lot of suspicions about the so-called "price tag" damage, vandalism or just plain graffiti which has been getting a lot of publicity and condemnation in Israel. I blogged my opinions, asking questions, here.

Today when riding the Jerusalem lightrail, I saw this and it made me think.

The burnt out frame held an advertisement. I'm not sure exactly what the ad or photo was. Nothing remains of it.  At other trainstops there were lipstick ads which didn't even show lips.

I think that burning these frames is just as damaging or worse than many of the so-called attacks sic by the so-called price tag vandals. Why aren't the media and politicians up in arms condemning the people who do the damage?

"Price Tag" Vandalism, Who's Guilty?

The so-called "price tag" vandalism has been high up in the news recently. It's mostly spray-painting, no more, no less. The latest was discovered in Jerusalem on church property.

The words “price tag,” “Jesus is garbage” and “King David for the Jews,” were found spray-painted on the site’s walls.

The odds are that it was done by either locals or those hired to get headlines and not by the so-called "settler youth." Having worked in advertising, all sorts of marketing, public relations and teaching I find the picture of the writing very curious.  Look carefully.

A general principle in advertising and graphic, and consistent with human nature, is to write the most important word or phrase the largest. Paying attention to the principle is even part of a technique I was taught to use in teaching how to do what's called in Israel "unseens," reading comprehension exercises. In this picture we see תג מחיר Tag Machir Price Tag being much larger than the rest of the message, which says:

David is The King, Jesus is garbage for Jews

In other photos the "Tag Machir" is visually more the slogan/message than the signature.

That makes me wonder about the actual perpetrators. I highly doubt if it's done by members of an organized "group." I also don't think that they are doing it for the same reasons. I divide the possible perpetrators into three very distinct groups.

• Shabak, Israeli secret service agents, provocateurs, out to make trouble. After the Avishai Raviv scandals during the lead-up to the Rabin assassination, I always look first to Shabak. 
• A very small number of Jews who live all over the country and are angry, daring risk-takers. It's doubtful that they know each other.
• Arabs who want to make "settlers" look bad. The chances of Jews getting into and out of the Arab villages to spray-paint alive is pretty much impossible.

And returning to the work Avishai Raviv had done for Shabak for about ten years before his cover was blown. I feel a deja vu about how the media, self-styled moralists and politicians are exaggerating the damage and danger of spray-painting reminds me too much of the anti-settler campaign twenty years ago.

Antisemitic vandalism is happening all over the world. That should concern us even more.

This is not a simple issue, not at all. And I'm certainly not condoning any of this. I just don't think that "settler youth" is the problem.

No Surprise There Hasn't Been Enough Rain in the Holy Land

Rain here in the Holy Land is given by G-d according to how well we obey Him.  Considering that the little rain we have received has been far from our Capital City Jerusalem, that shouldn't surprise us at all.  The Israeli Government has not been doing its job to protect and promote the Jewish State and establish Israeli sovereignty on our Holy Land.

What we are doing is laying the ground work that will ultimately make sovereignty possible.  This is an essential stage in a process.  You cannot go "poof" and get people on board for sovereignty.  You first must convince them that Israel has a RIGHT to the land.  (We do, but few realize it.)
Unfortunately, during the last 20 years since Oslo, the PLO has done a fantastic job of convincing the world (and regrettably, some left wing Israelis) that the Palestinian Arabs have a right to everything past the Green Line (the 1949 Armistice line).  At the same time, Israeli governments have been deficient in presenting the case for Israel's rights.  At most, there is talk about security, which is not the same thing.
The 90 page Levy Report attests to Israel's legal rights in Judea and Samaria.  It is based on solid research, and relies on the historical record, the fact of the ancient Jewish presence in the land, and, most significantly, legal documents. The Levy Report is the vehicle for presenting the case for Israeli rights in Judea and Samaria.  We are not occupiers; the settlements are not illegal; our situation is unique (sui generis), and the Geneva Conventions do not apply. We intend to use this to change the paradigm of thinking: a critically important and necessary process.
