Hamas/Gaza War Musings #50: Deja Vu, Yet Again-- Will Israel Ever Learn?

This post is based on my last night's "Gnite" on Facebook. That's a message I write most nights before going to sleep. Sometimes I haven't a clue what my fingers are going to type out, and sometimes I find myself elaborating on what has been filling my head, generally something to do with the WAR.

I think it's extremely important to remember that Israel's WAR FOR SURVIVAL has a number of fronts. From what I understand, the northern front is now quiet. But what does that mean? Did our enemies surrender?

Just a few weeks ago Israel decided that the time had come to try to destroy Iran's nuclear development, which seemed impossible, since we don't have strong enough bombs to go deeply enough. Also Iran immediately began bombing Israeli cities, and our Iron Dome and other defensive "machinery" only partially prevented destruction and death in Israeli cities. After the USA completed the bombing of Iran's nuclear development center, utilizing the damage that Israel had accomplished. This front also quieted down without anything that could be called a surrender by Iran.

Now Israel has returned to fighting in Gaza, Deja Vu.

Early in the war, I'd read in the newspapers and internet interviews with IDF reservists on the southern front who'd say it's the second, third or fourth time ... or more, they've battled and taken over the same sections of Gaza. After each of the previous wars, Bibi who was usually (or always) Prime Minister at the time, would declare that we "won," and the Gazans/Hamas/or whatever you want to call them had been stopped and "know that we're stronger." Then we'd leave, the terrorists would return and within a year or two or three, they'd attack us yet again.

Of course 20 years ago, when Arik Sharon ordered Disengagement, we were told that if the Arabs dared to attack us ... we'd be back. Obviously that was a very empty threat.

In the past twenty years, since the Israeli Government destroyed Gush Katif and turned thousands of hardworking Israelis into refugees, destroyed homes and successful businesses, we've been attacked, bombed, suffered rocket attacks and then the perverse, violent, murderous massacre and kidnapping on October 7, 2023. Arik's Disengagement failed completely.

How many wars and how many dead Israelis will it take for Bibi to get/comprehend the message? We need a TOTAL VICTORY. The enemy must surrender. It's suicidal to make a "deal" with those terrorists. And he's not even demanding that every single solitary hostage alive and dead be returned before he'd even "talk." Bibi Netanyahu doesn't know how to negotiate. He just surrenders.

I know that this may sound "cruel," but someone ought to tell the yellow "bring them out at any cost" crowd two simple things:
1- their campaign is showing the terrorists how to break us. Just kidnap Israelis and Israel will fold.
2- Bibi and the IDF aren't holding the hostages. They should have focused their demonstrations on the Red Cross, who've never even visited the hostages.

There won't be peace until we fight to win, to destroy the enemy and to do this we must stop the woke "humanitarian aid" and the ridiculous counterproductive "warnings" which undermine the effectiveness of our fighting and endangers our precious soldiers.

OK, I said it. I could say more... maybe next week. Gd willing...

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #35- Bibi's Foolishly Playing to the Democrats

We've all heard the saying that trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results is a definition of insanity and the most accurate way of describing Prime Minister Binyamin Bibi Netanyahu's security policies --how he ends wars--

That's why we're in the mess we've been in the past year plus. The mess is the war. We've been attacked every year or two since early into Bibi's reign as Israel's Prime Minister. I don't understand why so many, otherwise brilliant, people vote for him, trust him and politically worship him. Netanyahu has been giving us a 21st century appeasement policy.

We haven't won any of these wars; we just end them, first cousin to surrender. Bibi claims that "we showed the Arabs that we're stronger, can't push us around." Duh?!? It has never worked. If it's the right policy there wouldn't be fighting a dangerous war for Israel's survival since October 7, 2023. It's clear. I'm a CPA's daughter and 1+1=2. This isn't even Second Grade Arithmetic. Why are so many people dumb when it comes to politics?

And now I keep hearing that we're letting the Americans, those deceitful allies, sic, negotiate a deal/ceasefire with Hizbolla. Beyond insanity, these are the Democrats, the party of Obama, AOC, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and Biden, who's no better than any of the others.

The tough war savvy crew Donald Trump has been nominating is certainly horrified. Horrified because we're not showing any war smarts, none of the heroism Trump is old enough to remember well from 1967.

If I sound depressed, it's because I am depressed. IMHO Bibi is only making things worse. When Trump tells Israel to finish the war, he means WIN IT!

I know what you want to ask me. "Who should replace Bibi?" Right? Honestly, I want to postpone elections as long as legally possible, because Israel can't afford raising the level of competition/disagreement/debate among citizens. If Netanyahu would only resign from all public offices, then the next in line in Likud would become Prime Minister. No elections needed.

Our soldiers are fighting hard, not only against Arab terrorists but also against some bad policies of the higher ups, those above the glass ceiling. Elections would cause too many internal fights.

I know that some people are certainly upset that I've written this. But I can't stay quiet, sorry. If you agree with me, please share this post, thanks. I'm looking forward to your comments, too.

The More I Hear About The Trump "Deal," The Less I Like It

The rationale behind the Trump "deal" is full of stereotypes and dangerous presumptions. It treats us all, Jews, Arabs, and other "minorities" as pawns not people. It promotes/proposes two apartheid states, which will only increase tensions and terrorism.

The Trump "Deal" requires a system of passage ways and roadworks in the mode of science fiction, not reality.

And the so called "sovereignty" Israel will be "permitted" to have over Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley would require a four, yes 4 year moratorium on building. That would cause major problems, since new houses are built in most places every year.

For more unpleasant details, I suggest reading Arlene Kushner's The Really Big Fly in The Ointment!!*

Ancient Shiloh

Women still come to Shiloh to pray, just like in Biblical Times
Americans and other foreigners are terribly chutzpadik telling the Jewish People where to live and build. Our documented history in places like Shiloh is more than ten times the existance of the USA.

*There's a new post Arlene just sent out to those on her mailing list, From Israel: It's True What They Say about the Devil!! It's not yet on her site. Check the site for updates https://www.arlenefromisrael.info/

Arab Terror Continues

The latest news is of more Arab terror attacks against innocent Jews:
Combined terrorist attack in Gush Etzion
Terrorist runs over two men, then attempts to stab soldiers before being neutralized.
Honestly, this is a very clear sign that the Arabs are far from ready to make peace with us. True PEACE isn't a ceremonial piece of paper.

The PA-Palestinian Authority continues to give salaries/stipends to terrorists and their families with the financial backing of the same international bodies and foreign countries that are pushing Israel to "make a deal with those terrorists."

  • Stop the dangerous farce.
  • Stop the financial backing of the PA!
  • Immediate execution of all terrorists caught in the act!!
There's no need for a trial. Just EXECUTE!

Trump, Kushner ad nauseum, Keep Your Deals for Yourselves

Believe me that Trump will get high approval ratings in the USA before the Arabs here will be willing to live in peace with Jews/the State of Israel. So, the bottom line is that instead of joining to world in trying to pressure Israel into suicide, Donald Trump and Jared Kushner should polish up POTUS's image in their home country. There's more of a chance they'll succeed in that quest.
Team led by Kushner works on ‘ultimate deal’ for Mideast
As I've written many times, a "deal" isn't peace. It's not the same as as negotiating with a plumber for a job or a bank for a mortgage/loan. And as an Israeli I would want a "money back guarantee" including generous compensation for damages before ever accepting their "deal." That would include an effective "undo" button to bring the dead back to life and full health to those injured by the Arabs.

Since not even Jared Kushner can offer a "deal" like I would require, there's nothing to talk about.

The truth is that Arab violence against Jews predates the Zionist Movement, which predates the state of Israel. What's most interesting is that although there was always Arab violence against Jews, more and more Arabs moved here from the surrounding areas, which weren't independent countries, as Zionists began to industrialize the area and use agricultural methods that required more workers. Arabs working for Jews has been a common thing for over a hundred years.

The immigration of Jews to the Land of Israel greatly improved the economic situation here, a phenomenon that continues to this day. When Arabs are confident that they can talk anonymously and safely, they will say that the last thing they want is to live under Arab rule. Arabs who work in our local Rami Levy are considered very lucky and financially secure. Israeli minimum wage is considered a high salary, and the clans which have passed the security checks do their best to keep their good name in order to keep the jobs in the family.

A major reason that there is so much violence and instability in the Middle East is because the countries and borders aren't "natural." The borders were drawn by Europeans making "deals." The various countries are made of clans and "tribes," who never got along well.

The most stable country is Israel. That is because the Jewish People have retained its religion, history, customs, language and Land for thousands of years, even during a long exile. Yes, even when exiled, Jews continued to live here in the Holy Land, visit, pray and long for it.

There are more important things for Kushner to do for his father-in-law, and I wish him luck. As long as he butts out of my business...

Keep your dealing at home!
