Hamas/Gaza War Musings #62: Israel Still in Danger; IDF Soldiers Still Need Tzitzit
Last night my friends and I had another Tzitzit Tying session. This was the third time in Shiloh, though just the second time for me. Special army-safe tzitzit are being tied all over Israel.
Civilians, of all ages, men and women are finding ways to volunteer in the war effort. Israelis are amazing. Some people help families of the reservists, the wounded and the dead. They do everything from babysitting to bringing food and more. Others have "adopted" bereaved families and those of the wounded.
Trump may claim that he brokered a "peace deal," but the war hasn't ended. Hamas is still attacking Israel, and our precious IDF soldiers are still being killed.
Of course we're grateful and overjoyed that the living hostages have been released by Gazan Hamas terrorists. No doubt they had ulterior, though not humanitarian, reasons for that. Here in Shiloh we're awaiting the return home of Avinatan Or. Big celebrations are planned, Gd willing.
Gazans are killing each other, not that the international anti-Israel Left seems to care. If they can't blame Israel, it doesn't make their news.
No doubt my series Hamas/Gaza War Musings is not yet over. Stay tuned.

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #61: VICTORY Prayer Haikus #4
I've been writing haikus for quite awhile, generally what I label #morningcoffeehaiku. They used to be rather banal about coffee, morning and sunrise, but as this awful war has been going on, dangerously endlessly --yes, even after the release of living hostages-- sometimes my formerly innocent haikus have concentrated on the Hamas/Gaza War. Following are some recent ones. Feel free to share and comment.

Dangers of "Half" or "Partial" Sovereignty
Deja vu the old United Nations Partition Plan, this partial or half-sovereignty will cause major inconvenience at best and more death by terrorism for sure. A splattering of Jackson-Pollock style splashes in the Land of Israel makes no sense. There's no legal, security or moral reason for such a thing.

| "Half" or "Partial" Sovereignty will only fill more cemeteries |
Shades of Barack Hussein Obama and his predecessors, the latest threats by United States officials are no different from FDR's refusal to allow Jews fleeing Hitler to get refuge in America and Truman's State Department which had recommended not recognizing the Jewish State in the UN vote.
Nothing has changed. We're on our own, and we're best off like that. Remember that the State of Israel had no foreign allies during the Six Days War, and that was the best. Let the world butt out, including Trump and Kushner.

The More I Hear About The Trump "Deal," The Less I Like It
The Trump "Deal" requires a system of passage ways and roadworks in the mode of science fiction, not reality.
And the so called "sovereignty" Israel will be "permitted" to have over Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley would require a four, yes 4 year moratorium on building. That would cause major problems, since new houses are built in most places every year.
For more unpleasant details, I suggest reading Arlene Kushner's The Really Big Fly in The Ointment!!*

Trump Stepped in It, "Deal?" Bleh 🤮
Donald Trump and his close staff, including his Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner, have stepped in it for sure with their so-called "Deal of the Century." It's not a "deal." It's a dangerous proposal they want to impose on Israel and our
Even if it's better for Israel than all previous proposals, it won't give us PEACE.
The closest thing to true peace and security for the State of Israel and the Jewish People world over would be:
- The State of Israel must declare full SOVEREIGNTY over all the Land we still hold, which had been liberated in the 1967 Six Days War.
- We must make it perfectly clear that there's nothing to negotiate.
- All terrorists caught in the act must be executed immediately, no trial and no cushy jail time.
- The PA-Palestine Authority must be disbanded.
- Har Habayit, the Temple Mount must be administered by Jews, full Jewish rights to worship including a suitable building until the Third Temple is complete.

Trump, Trash Your Peace Plan
Since he had originally campaigned against imposing any plan and insisting that you can't impose peace.
I hate to break it to Trump, Kushner etc but the Arabs all want us dead and gone, and this predates the establishment of the State of Israel. That's the truth, plain and simple. The hate of all things Jewish predates Zionism too. That's one big thing that Muslims and Christians have in common. Think about the Crusaders, Inquisition and Nazisim.
I'm not going to waste any more time. I feel like a broken record.
Bury it, Trump, and take care of your own country.

Israel-Palestinian "Peace Plan" Oxymoron
This fiction of a "nation," which has no history is the "pet" of innumerable countries, NGOs, media, celebrities etc.
Early on in Donald Trump's career as a politician, he had announced that it was up to the two opposing sides, Jews and Arabs, to negotiate. Too bad he didn't stick with that policy.
It doesn't matter how creative or practical or revolutionary the "peace deal" Kushner and co have come up with, it won't bring peace to the middle east. And they should know perfectly well that a "deal" can't be imposed from outsiders.
These same Arabs that celebrate murder of innocent Jews will not change their deadly cruel culture for anything. They still, supported by the EU, UN and too many others, educate their children to kill, and until this changes and takes effect, there's no chance for peace.
Gd willing, some day there will be true peace, but that will only come when the State of Israel fully annexes all of the Land of Israel and executes all Arab terrorists.

Who's The Winner of the 2019 Knesset Elections? I Can Wait Until Morning
Well, count me out.
I'll be happy to wait until morning for the numbers, and then until whenever we hear about the deals to make a coalition. Believe me, Trump hasn't a clue about "deals." Forming a ruling coalition after these elections will make his Trump neighborhood on Manhattan's Westside look like a piece of cake, and his so-called "peace deal" will fall like poorly made souffle in a thunderstorm.

Kushner "Peace" sic Deal- Dumb and Dangerous
We all know that you can't impose a "deal." This isn't post-World War Two, when the Allied Forces led by the United States defeated the Nazis and the Japanese and then imposed a "new order" on them.
Israel is a peaceful, vibrant, miraculously successful modern country which is being literally terrorized by Arabs, some rather recent to the area, a contradiction to the popular legends and lies being propagated. These terrorists are being backed and encouraged by foreign agitators, agent provocateurs, to do whatever they can to terrorize and destabilize the State of Israel.
No "deal," regardless how "creative" and "detailed" it may be can rectify the present situation.
Rumor is that Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Bibi Netanyahu has been informed of the details of this "deal" and just requested that Trump tell his son-in-law to wait until after the upcoming Israeli elections. If this is true, it's bad news x2, times two or doubly bad. It looks like it's time to go into post-Bibi rule.
Is there anyone in Likud who will be better for the security and sovereignty of the State of Israel? Bibi's successor also must be capable of negotiating a ruling coalition, or we'll find ourselves suffering through continuous successful elections.
To pull Netanyahu in the Right direction, we need a strong showing for the New Right, the Naftali Bennett, Ayelet Shaked and Caroline Glick party.
The State of Israel needs leaders, not followers. We need a government that has no problem telling Kushner and Trump what they should do with their "deal."

Trump Should Trash His "Peace Plan"
You can't impose a "peace plan" on terrorists and their victims. Terrorism just doesn't stop so easily. The Arab terrorists have been, still are teaching their children that murdering Israelis is good. First that whole ideology must stop. And it will take a long time.
The PA-Palestinian Authority pays a pension to convicted/successful terrorists and their families. Mahmoud Abbas is no peace partner.
Besides the terrorism, there's the growing movement all over the world supporting the Arab terrorists and delegitimizing the State of Israel. It doesn't matter what Israel does, they want us gone.
The more Israel agrees to give, the more the Arabs will demand. That's because their idea of peace, their "final solution" is the destruction, Gd Forbid, of the State of Israel.
I suggest that Trump use his talented team to make peace in the United States. It seems close to a civil war right now. America needs them more than we do.

Peace Plans/Deals Don't Bring Peace
I dread the news announcement of another so called Peace Plan/Deal by Trump or anyone else. The entire concept is a dangerous farce. There's no way one can "make peace" when one of the so-called partners promotes destruction, terrorism and death.
Peace evolves and must come from both sides. It can't be imposed, no matter how creative or logical the conditions may sound. It's just make-believe.
Early on in US President Trump's political career, he stated that he wouldn't interfere and create a "peace plan." It was up to the two sides to do it. Too bad he let the State Department and his advisors convince him to change that policy.
Pretending that the Arab terrorists are "Peace partners," sic is a lot more dangerous than thinking that a small spandex girdle can safely slim someone down.
Remember that Hamas Gaza and PLO's Mahmoud Abbas still praise and support Arab terrorists. Their schools teach killing Jews and Israelis as an ideal. There won't be peace until that not only stops, but terrorism is outlawed. It will take a long time for that to happen, decades for sure.
Instead of agreeing to cooperate with another dangerous and useless at best peace plan, the State of Israel should just unabashedly do everything to destroy Arab terrorism, while at the same time building our wonderful country in all of the Land we control. All the Land should be annexed completely. Jewish Rights to build and live in all locations should be promoted too. Arab terrorism against Jews shouldn't be rewarded. That is the only way to promote true peace. Our Arab enemies must accept us, and they will when they see that we're not moving.
Gd willing we will stop the Peace Farce and do what's best for the State of Israel and the Jewish People.
