Elul and the Truth About this War, Guest Post by Netivot Girl

It is Elul. For religious Jews this is a time for contemplation and trying to better ourselves. I made Aliya in 1977 and have never regretted that decision. Friends from abroad ask me if I feel safe. Well, given the rampant anti-Semitism against Jews the world over, I can honestly say yes. However, there are so many things that trouble me. I am incredibly disappointed that many of our politicians and IDF heads have refused to take upon themselves responsibility for the massacre of October 7th. It galls me that our Chief of Staff Herzl Ha'Levi not only has refused to do so; he is continuing to promote his buddies to important IDF posts.

It is unforgivable that the UN and many nations have labeled us with words that FB won't allow me to post!! Where were their voices when many hundreds of our women were gang-raped? The 'Me Too Movement' is for every woman who is not Israeli or Jewish? The barbarians who raped our women had their friends photograph them on their phones. The same with the burning of babies in their cribs; where was the outcry? The perpetrators of these barbaric actions used their phones to document their actions. Yes, the war goes on. But it could have ended months ago had Hamas fighters laid down their arms and returned our hostages. I believe that the hypocrisy of the world is sickening. The UN has yet to denounce Hamas' horrific behavior. The Red Cross never went to investigate the conditions of our hostages, very few of whom are still alive IMHO. Has the world lost its moral compass? I believe it has indeed. Colonel Richard Kemp was a commander of British troops in Afghanistan; he has repeatedly commented that our IDF (Israel Defense Forces) is the most moral army in the world. Sadly, we have lost far too many of our IDF personnel because of that. Our troops have dropped leaflets and even phoned Gazans recommending that they leave any area that will be bombed in the near future. Unlike the USA, we do NOT carpet bomb. If Israel is conducting genocide, then how is it that the number of Gazans has greatly risen during the past few years????

Many thousands of my fellow Israelis have been living in hotels for many months as Hezbollah continues to destroy homes, farmland and other buildings up north. Where is the outcry? We are America's most important ally in the Middle East. Many Muslim Arabs are policemen and even sit in our Knesset. We are NOT an apartheid state; you can see women wearing veils in nearby Beer Sheva; I see them all the time. Moreover many Arabs sit as judges in our courts. Samer Haj Yehia was named the chairman of the board of directors of Bank Leumi, one of Israel's largest banks in 2019. Unlike every single Arab country in our area, gays are allowed to be open about their sexual orientation. In fact, the Speaker of our Knesset is gay; married and has a few children. (He is among the very few Likud politicians for whom I still hold respect.) Douglas Murray is an author of many bestselling books. HE has been in Gaza numerous times during the years. A British gay non-Jew, he remains one of Israel's staunchest defenders. He 'gets it;' he knows what's going on. He visited the site where volunteers spent MONTHS using DNA and other information to discover the identity of the thousands of bodies that were left to rot.

So, if you are Jewish, please be a proud Jew. Stand up against the numerous anti-Israel protests. And most importantly, check the facts before you attack us verbally or otherwise. May He above have mercy on us in our tiny country. I write this as a resident of Netivot which has been rocketed by Hamas since Israel pulled out all of its citizens from Gaza in 2005. We left millions of dollars worth of agricultural equipment which could have aided Gaza's Muslim population turn that strip of land into a modern-day Singapore. Instead, those idiots burned all of that equipment down! Gaza WAS a free entity from 2005 until the October 7th massacre of 2023. Do I expect anyone to change their opinions because of this post? No I do not; anti-Zionism is the newest nomenclature for anti-Semitism. You are either with us or against us. To my fellow Israelis I say, "Stand tough and be unified." To other people I say, when we said the words, "Never Again" we sure as he*l meant them!! Stay safe and please feel free to share this post.

Guest Post: The Intentional Silence re: Crimes Against Jewish Women by Hamas, October, 2023

Subject: The intentional silence of UN Women Geneva regarding the crimes against humanity perpetrated against Jewish women: brutal rapes, torture, kidnapping and murder that happened on Oct 7 2023, and thereafter in Israel and Gaza.

Dear ladies of the UN Women’s European and Asian Organization and sister organizations,

I am contacting your organization at the Geneva email address as I could find no other address for you. If you would please forward this letter to your sister organizations, it would kindly be appreciated

The purpose of this letter is to ask why the EU Women European and Asian Organization, and sister organizations, remained radio silent for nearly two months after the October 7th massacre? Your embarrassingly late response was made on December 2, 2023.

Your international organization represents all women, and underage girls, regardless of race and creed; you are their megaphone for crimes they suffer now, and suffered.

Your deafening silence, in my humble opinion, is open -in -your -face antisemitism/Jew hatred. I’m not at all surprised, since the UN has been most unfair in their many resolutions against Israel over the decades

I ask you now, where was your collective voice and outrage that day, and the immediate days to follow? Not a word. No indignation? No concern whatsoever for your fellow sisters? I question your motivations It was, in my humble opinion, not a bureaucratic error. No, it was intentional. Crimes against women and young girls: the human trafficking, raping, murder, child pornography, sex slavery, child endangerment (selling children for sex) and kidnappings are called crimes against humanity, as defined by the UN.

Your organization analyzes and makes recommendations to assist female victims of sex crimes, such as those listed above. You have, for decades, addressed these horrific crimes. I must ask why not for Jewish women?

I recently went on your website and found dozens upon dozens of articles and in depth studies pertaining to atrocities suffered by women of all ages from various countries around the world. What I found most interesting , when pursuing one of your websites, was an extensive and detailed study about the effects of the war on Gazan women. There was a substantial collection of colorful photos, all documenting the carnage in northern Gaza. I then searched through many of recent online publications on the UN Women websites. What I discovered was upsetting-that there is not one study or in depth report on the events of Oct 7th, and thereafter

That these online reports are published monthly gives me pause. The butchery and barbarism that occurred was no where to be found. I must have read 15 articles and websites. I was saddened and at the same time angered to learn that basically the lives of these women just don’t matter in your organization’s opinion. That Jewish women, who had been raped, mutilated, and some brutally murdered, some beheaded, in some cases burned, not addressed at all by your org. Is disturbing and insulting to those women. And to all of us.

Your agency receives hundreds of millions of dollars from the US. Over the past decade, billions have been donated. And it’s my tax dollars paying your salaries

The hostages are still in Gaza. What are your people doing about it? I see you doing zilch. There are still 14 women presently held by Hamas. Negotiations to release them thus far have been fruitless. Where are your demands to have them released? Again, all is quiet on the home front

Only when you were publicly embarrassed, and basically called out on the carpet by the hostage families, PM Netanyahu and President Biden, distinguished Jewish leaders, and hundred of Christian and Jewish communities, did you finally respond. And the statement given was generic and lackluster.

Some of the hostages are now home with loved ones. But there are grave concerns that some women may have been impregnated. Imagine, if you will, having to make a “Sophie’s Choice” decision, whether to keep the baby or abort? Can you imagine the psychological damages these women now suffer, and the nightmarish memories they will carry for the rest of their lives. What if it had been your daughters, or family members? Imagine.

I read that your organization has plans to conduct investigations of the women that were held in captivity. That you even question the testimonies of these survivors is disgusting and reprehensible. There have already been several investigations by Israeli and US agencies and journalists. Question: do you doubt their stories.

As you know, there are hundreds of videos, made by Hamas that were published in the media. One particular Arab “Telegram” channel published the more graphic and grotesque imagery. One was of a woman’s severed breast being tossed about like a ping pong ball. There were photos of women’s bodies with mutilated sex organs. These Hamas monsters were heard laughing in their videos.

The most widely publicized video clip is of a young woman being shoved into a white van, the back of her pants bloodied. One can only imagine what was done to her. Later, it was discovered she was beheaded.

I remember, and still see on television, a scene with a beautiful, terrorized young woman, being carried off on a motorcycle to Gaza. I also remember an elderly woman , known as grandma, kidnapped, and riding towards Gaza in a jeep. I’m sure many of you saw these images too. They were reported on all major media ( BBC, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, Newsmax, New York Times , Guardian, US News and World Report, the Wall Street Journal, Jerusalem Post —international edition, and countless other news outlets. And still, you believe it necessary to conduct a separate investigation? Shame on you.

I am a former member of an internationally recognized womens rights organization, NOW, who still unnervingly remain silent. I became a member way back when, in the early seventies. I have now cancelled my membership, and I will be sending them a similar letter. I will also pursue other notable women like Oprah, Michelle Obama, Barbara Streisand and well known so called women’s rights activists and influencers who have yet to speak out. You would think any decent woman with a heart would have something to say. Right?

I believe it is incumbent upon your organization, in order to redeem your now sullied reputation, to announce publicly your unequivocal support for Israel and their war to totally destroy Hamas and their terror machine. That means no end to the war until the job is finished. That means no ceasefires.

I will make a suggestion: from now on going forward, you will include in your many online journals and reports, the stories of the Jewish women who were brutally victimized, and include the many well established facts on the ground that have been compiled, as to what actually happened Oct. 7th and thereafter.

I do believe, in my heart of hearts, that you will simply laugh at, or ignore this letter. Nevertheless, as a proud Jewish woman and ardent Zionist, I feel it is my obligation and duty to speak up. I will not remain silent in the face of what happened to these women. Silence by the UN is disgraceful. It’s gross dishonesty and is moral bankruptcy.

Shame on the UN.

Even after the Pittsburgh Synagogue Massacre, Jews are still not granted Victim Status according to the rules of Political Correctness.

I strongly suspect that Jews will NEVER be granted Victim Status according to the rules of Political Correctness, regardless of how much they suffer.

According to the rules of Political Correctness, Black Lives Matter, but Jewish lives do not matter, and I strongly suspect that they never will matter.

Muslims and African Americans have both been granted Victim Status by the Leftist Political Correctness people, even though both of those groups include high percentages of people who hate Jews.

A related problem, which has become so completely normalized that most people do not even consider it to be a problem, is that Muslims and African Americans both get a free pass for their anti-Jewish-hatred, and not just a regular free pass, but an unlimited free pass. Louis Farrakhan and his Nation Of Islam organization have used that unlimited free pass to constantly propagandize against Jews, which has resulted in many millions of people believing that Jews are [or were] responsible for slavery, which is false.

Since the year 2000, thousands of Jews have fled from Europe, because of rapidly increasing anti-Semitism, including beatings and even killings. Thousands more Jews are seriously considering fleeing Europe, for the same reasons. This might not sound like a large number of people, but when you consider how few Jews live in Europe, it is a significant percentage of European Jews.

Even with thousands of Jews fleeing from Europe, because of anti-Jewish violence, the so-called Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) still have not granted Victim Status to Jews.

Even with Europeans Jews under attack from both European right-wing Nationalists and Muslim immigrants, the Social Justice Warriors and Leftists consider Jews to be unworthy of Victim Status.

In the 1990s, a Moroccan Jew told me that fled from France because he could not cope with the anti-Semitism there at that time, which was much-less-severe than the anti-Semitism that exists there now. That Moroccan Jew was one of the biggest and strongest Jews I ever met, and he was also a Black Belt – yet even he was unable to cope with the anti-Semitism in France in the 1990s, which has become much worse since then.

“An incredible 90 percent of British Jews believe that the Labour Party is ‎anti-Semitic, and 40 percent are considering leaving the United Kingdom ‎because of the spike in anti-Semitism.”

BOTTOM LINE: Even with 40% of British Jews considering leaving the United Kingdom ‎because of anti-Semitism, Jews still do not receive Victim Status.

In year 2016, the FBI reported that 54% of religion-motivated Hate Crimes were anti-Jewish, even though less than 2% of Americans were Jews,

BOTTOM LINE: Even with Jews being victimized by Hate Crimes far beyond their percentage of the total American population, Jews still do not receive Victim Status.

If the Political Correctness people and Social Justice Warriors really believed in Social Justice, then they would grant Victim Status to Jews, because Jews are the most-persecuted people in World History. To deny that Jews are worthy of Victim Status indicates that the Political Correctness people and SJWs have a problem with Jews.
