Ramadan Terror

Anyone who still falls for the line that "Islam Is a Religion of Peace" has to be totally nuts. Now we're in the last week of Ramadan, and then the Eid al-Fitr festival. So, unfortunately the chances are that Arab/muslim terror attacks will increase:

It happens every year. And just to be pragmatic, since more and more countries and communities have sizable and comfortable/confident muslim populations, the chances are that violence and terror during this season will spread, too.

Remember that the season of Ramadan gradually changes each year, because their calendar is totally lunar, based on twelve months. The Muslim Calendar is unlike the internationally accepted Christian Calendar, which includes an extra day every four years and has months mostly of 30-31 days not related to the moon, or the Jewish Calendar that has a very accurate formula for adding months to keep its lunar calendar rooted to the Land's solar seasons.

Every year for Ramadan, the Israeli Government eases permits to allow Muslims to enter Jerusalem and pray on the Temple Mount, and every year the terror increases.

The Arabs Have Returned!

We were all wondering how long it would take, but as the local Muslim Arabs began preparing for their Ramadan Holiday, when they buy lots of nice clothes for their children and themselves and feast all night, after a long day of fasting, the prices, quality and selection in Rami Levy and Yafiz, Sha'ar Binyamin became too attractive to ignore.

The fears of revenge terror by Jews and the "confiscations" by the PA Police have kept many away for the past few years. That is except for this season, since according to reports by our loyal Arab customers, Arab women with fluent English from years living abroad, there is no comparison between what they can buy here in Jewish shops and what is sold even in Ramallah, the largest Arab city in the area.

In Rami Levy and Yafiz, Sha'ar Binyamin we experience the peaceful coexistence that the Leftists and Liberals claim to strive for. We work and shop together. But for some very fokokt reason, the Leftists and Liberals do everything in their power to sabotage it.

To make things very clear, I do not work in Yafiz, Sha'ar Binyamin for any ideological, idyllic agenda. Actually, when I was offered the job in the store, all I could think of was making a salary, even a small one, since we desperately needed more monthly income. Adjusting to work with Arabs was a lot easier than I could have predicted. When they come to us to shop they respect the fact that we Jews own the stores. They are strict with their children and keep them in line when shopping, which not all Jews are willing to do. I'm a pragmatist, and have no doubt that if the ideologues would just butt out, life would be a lot more peaceful.

Take off the Gloves and Destroy the Arab Muslim Terrorists!

One of the wounded is very seriously injured. Please pray for them all especially Malachi Moshe ben Sarah Nechama. The others are Chananya ben Shula, Shai ben Nili, and Yair ben Shoshana


That's how the muslims celebrate Ramadan. After fasting all day and feasting at nightfall they go out to kill innocent Jews.

I'm incredulous about the Jerusalem Post headline.

What could the attack have been other than a terrorist one? We will never be free of terrorism until we recognize it as such.

• All Arab terrorists, whether "successful" or not must be executed promptly and not treated as ordinary criminals. 
• They should not have any civil rights. 
• They shouldn't have a chance to live or give defense. 
• They shouldn't be cared for in jails.
• And they should not be exchanged/released no matter what!
• There is no excuse nor justification for terrorism!!!

Why The Sudden Increase in Terror Attacks? Islam's Ramadan, Of Course!

On Friday, before Shabbat we were watching the world news on television, and all they talked about was the sudden sic inexplicable sic outbreak of terrorism and violence by muslims all over the world. With straight faces, the commentators insisted there was nothing to tie the beheading in France with the terror attack in Tunisia with the massacre in Syria and the mosque bombed in Kuwait. Either they were really stupid or great actors.

State Department: No Evidence Three Attacks Were Related

In my mind the reason was so obvious, because there's more tension here in Israel, too. It's Ramadan! 

Everybody knows that during Ramadan Arab Muslim terror attacks increase, just like there's more rain on cloudy days than on sunny ones. It goes hand in hand.

Ramadan, which floats around the annual seasons, due to the peculiar rootless calendar Muslims follow, requires fasting during the day and then feasting at night. 

Before getting into the theology that many use to explain and justify terror attacks, I'd like to say that physiologically, the long fasting followed by feasting, especially when it happens late spring early summer, does cause emotional instability and impulse control problems. But you don't find followers of other religions attacking others when they fast and feast.

Have you heard any Muslim religious leaders condemning the violence and terror? I just went through a whole bunch of the biggest of the news sites to look and found zilch aka nothing! Where's that gentle Islam United States President Obama keeps talking about?

To state the truth simply, I must say that the world is in danger. I hate to sound like a scaremonger, but there are sizable amounts of Arab muslims in countries all over the world who are not trying to integrate and assimilate into their new societies. They have an agenda, and it's neither peaceful nor humanitarian. France has already experienced a few attacks, and anyone who thinks they aren't all connected is lying to him/herself.

Muslims Attack vs Jewish Feasting and Prayers-- Celebrating Holidays

It's no great surprise that there has been a sharp increase in the amount of Arab terror attacks here in Israel. It's Ramadan, the annual on the Muslim calendar and every eleven and a half months (approximately) on most other ones. Officially, Islam requires fasting during daytime and then feasting at night. But the Arabs around here have added another custom, terror attacks.

Please don't think that this happens exclusively in Israel and can be blamed on the settlements, the easy excuse people all over the world like to give for Arab violence. It also happens in Arab countries like Iraq.

A string of deadly attacks have claimed dozens of lives across Iraq. The violence came as Iraq began celebrating the holy Muslim month of Ramadan. (DW-News, 2013)

And yes, it does happen here in Israel, too.

Locked Out of Har HaBayit, The Temple Mount, Just Because I'm a Jew!

Today was supposed to be a great day in my life. It was supposed to be my first time ever ascending Har HaBayit, The Temple Mount, the very holiest spot in the world for Jews!

I had been planning on going for years, but somehow never quite did. Last week when my neighbor Rachel Sela sent out an email that she'd be going the following Monday, yes that's today, I realized that I could make it, so I gave her a call to sign up. Rachel leads groups every few weeks. She said that it's rare for her groups to be forbidden entrance. My husband kept saying that they wouldn't let us in until the Muslim post-Ramadan holiday if over in another week plus. But I just felt like I had to go. It seemed so right during this difficult war we're in. I wanted to be closer to where the Beit HaMikdash, our Holy Temple had stood. Not even my beloved Shiloh Hakeduma, where the Ancient Mishkan Tabernacle had stood satisfied my craving for holiness. I wanted to take that next step.

Rachel and I had discussed the issue of entering Har HaBayit before. We both feel that since G-d gave it to us during the 1967 Six Days War, it's ungrateful, even sacrilegious, for us to ignore it. We the State of Israel should have totally taken over it then facilitating Jewish Prayer and access. Rabbi Shlomo Goren, ZaTz"L, who was the IDF Chief Rabbi at the time tried to institute Jewish study and prayer on Har HaBayit, but he was stymied by the government.

Here we are, almost a half a century since that great miraculous victory, and instead of embracing it and thanking G-d we gave it to the antisemitic, anti-Israel Muslims who profane the Holiest spot in the world twenty-four hours of the day, seven days a week, twelve months a year. And we wonder why G-d loses His Patience with us. And we dare to ask why He hasn't sent us the Moshiach, the Messiah. The truth is that the Moshiach was here in late Iyyar, early June, 1967, and He was locked out of the Temple Mount, Har HaBayit.

The Israeli Rabbinate declared it "too holy" for Jews but perfectly permissible to non-Jews.

There was a time when anyone appearing obviously Jewish was totally banned from entering Har HaBayit, but in recent years, Jews willing to accept the insulting, racist, antisemitic restrictions may enter. The main restriction is no prayers. Yes, you heard me right. A Jew who seems to be praying will be quickly and violently whisked away from the site of our Holy Temples.

This morning the three women who were with me didn't even get that close. We found the gate locked. There wasn't even a guard to speak to or argue with.

Finally Rachel did find a soldier and even called his superior, but they held fast to the ruling that until the Muslims finish their holiday season, Jews are banned from Har HaBayit, The Temple Mount.

Davka now, when our country is fighting for its survival, and our sons have been called to the front-line, we want to pray on the front-line of G-d's Land, and that is Har HaBayit.

We expect at least a minimum of freedom of religion in the only Jewish country in the world. We should have had been allowed in. This morning's experience will, G-d willing, bli neder, be expanded on in future blog posts, so please stay tuned.

Israeli-Jewish Sovereignty in Jerusalem?

It's no secret that there are Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem where Israeli Jewish Policemen fear to tread.  Here are some disturbing pictures and an article from Algemeiner about an Arab attack on Jews near the Old City of Jerusalem.

A frenzied Arab mob smashed car windshields with rocks and pieces of wood, as Jews drove by Jerusalem’s Damascus (Shechem) Gate Tuesday night, with several of the perpetrators arrested by Jerusalem Police, Israel’s Channel 7 reported on Thursday, citing video recorded by the assailants and uploaded to the internet.
The video, posted on the “Free Qudss” accounts on YouTube and Facebook, begins with the statement: “Destroying the settlers cars and arrests.” The narrator claims the recording was made on Tuesday evening.

At least here the police attempted to protect the Jews.



This happened not far from the Jerusalem Lightrail.

The Muslim world is now in the midst of Ramadan, the month in which they fast during the day and feast and party all night.
