"White Privilege" The Big Antisemitic Lie

I get terribly offended by the relatively new term "white privilege." Honestly, it's antisemitic. 

That nasty term hides/denies how most Jewish immigrants struggled in their early decades in America.

The vast majority of Jews who moved to the United Stated in the previous two centuries were fleeing poverty. The wealthy didn't come, only the poor. 

The "WASPS" didn't want them and quickly passed a quota law to keep Jews out. FDR wouldn't even fill the quota when those fleeing the Nazis tried to legally enter the United States. And if you check your history, Harry Truman didn't improve things after World War Two. Holocaust survivors had a very difficult time getting visas to live in America.

Sabbat observing Jews were discriminated against and needed new jobs weekly, or made do as independent peddlers. 

It didn't help that the Great Depression was making it hard on many. The last to be hired and first to be fired were Jews. 

Many Jews went to work as young as possible to help their families. Even those who graduated high school as academics ended up working, since they couldn't even afford the "free" universities. 

Those using the term "White Privilege" are inventing a false history, a lie. I find the term very offensive.

Halloween: What Type of Holiday is it Really?

I grew up in a very simple time and lovely, innocent ideal neighborhood. Bell Park Gardens, Bayside, NY, like many all over the USA, was built by some government authority for army veterans. The American decision to join the war, World War Two, was the impetus, medicine, that greatly improved the economy and ended the Great Depression.

Army veterans came home and needed housing for their new and growing families, so the government built some neighborhoods, private homes, two and four-family houses, garden apartment developments and some apartment houses.

Bell Park Gardens was a utopia from my memories and those of others who grew up there in the 1950's.  That's why I could never relate to the awful stories I hear about Halloween. Most of our neighbors, probably 95%, were Jewish, so there certainly was no Christian aspects. We all dressed up in some sort of costume. In some homes it was homemade, since nobody was rich in my neighborhood. Then we would go around from house to house with a bag that would get full of simple candies from neighbors. We'd say:

"Trick or Treat?"

It was all "treats" and no "tricks."

Jews, in those days, didn't put up Christmas Trees, but we never thought that there was a Christian or dangerous element in Halloween. I'm happy to be here in Israel where I can just remember that more innocent time and not deal with the terrors of today's United States of America.

Democrat Party Not for Jews!

American Jewry is more makpid, strictly observant, when it comes to supporting the Democrats than it is for observing the Gd given mitzvot, commandments.

The percentage of American Jews who desist from eating the forbidden chametz on Passover is much lower than those who vote Democrat.

For the longest time, I've been saying that this must change, and I don't mean to keep mitzvot and vote Democrat. I've been saying that the Democratic Party has not been good for Jews, nor is it truly good for the State of Israel.

The long-time Jewish worship of the Democratic Party is based on the false premise, that U. S. President F.D. Roosevelt was pro-Jewish and saved the world by defeating the Nazis. He is also credited with ending the Great Depression, and that is another untruth.

• FDR was pushed into having the USA enter World War Two when American military was attacked and to save Britain and Europe. At no time was it a military, or diplomatic aim to stop the Nazi Holocaust of Jews. 
• It was the economic needs of the American military that drastically improved the American economy, thereby bringing on the economic recovery and end of the Great Depression.

Grass-root Republicans are much more pro-Israel than their equivalent Democrats. As many Israeli fundraisers know, the strongest pro-Israel Americans are the Evangelical Christians who vote Republican. Their pro-religion policies make being Jewish much easier, while the strongly secular Democrats are not comfortable with any religion.
