Hamas/Gaza War Musings #38: Bibi, VICTORY NOW!

What I want is very simple. 

I want a Prime Minister who clearly rules as Prime Minister of an independent sovereign country, who is not afraid to win a war, destroy our enemies. Stop the fokokt "morality" business. It endangers us and strengthens the enemy. This sicko policy has been followed for over twenty years, if not longer. I'm disgusted. Too many of our soldiers have been killed because of it, and now the country is in total danger. Bibi is a disaster, totally.

You know that I'm no youngster. I may forget why I walked into a room or names that I've known forever, but there are things I know and remember really well. One of them is that a young neighbor, who had been a friend of one of my sons, was killed in a badly planned army action, because the government was protecting the enemy. Yes, that faux fokokt morality Bibi is so proud of. I wrote this over twenty years ago “Aish Zarah—A Strange Fire” If you search this blog, you'll find many posts about Avihu Keinan, הי"ד. I suggest you do it. 

For me, this war is deja vu on steroids. 

And to all those who claim that nobody could be better than Bibi... Duh?!? Have you noticed that Israel was attacked over a year ago, and it took not minutes, not even a few hours, but much longer for the IDF to come to the rescue of our embattled citizens? This was under Bibi's watch/rule. Bibi Netanyahu is the longest serving Prime Minister. Yes, simple math. So who's responsible? BIBI!

This WAR isn't the first under Bib's rule. Honestly, I lost track. All those attacks over the years must be considered wars, even though Bibi insisted on giving them different names. And then he never fought to win, destroy the enemy. He just "mowed" them to "silence" as if they had accidentally misfired onto Israel's cities.

I don't understand how Israelis who consider themselves on the "Right" keep lying to themselves. The Left who have taken over the streets since they can't win elections are a different story... not for now.

Likud voters have been conned. 

I'm not a political party loyalist. I'm a CPA's daughter and look for the bottom line. What's the policy? What have they done, accomplished. I look at the facts. That's why I consider Netanyahu totally unsuccessful and dangerous. I heard him promise to be a "centrist" in 2008. Read this, because it explains it all. Centrists aren't leaders, and we need a true brave leader NOW!

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #29 How Will History Judge Bibi?

Recent weeks, I've found myself writing a short, but not sweet, gnite message on Facebook after taking out my hearing aids, taking off my "dog tag" necklace and eyeglasses before going to bed. It's illustrated with a photo showing whatever I'm reading, plus those accessories. I don't really plan what I'm going to write. It just flows... Letting my thoughts out is a good way to relax before trying to fall asleep.

I used to blog daily, before Facebook, and in my early days on Facebook. Nowadays I spend much more time on Facebook. It's hard to know how many people actually read my blog posts, while it's easier to get reactions on Facebook.

These gnite messages have been well received, so I'll be copying/sharing some here. I welcome your reactions, comments.

It's hard to believe that in less than 24 hours we'll be celebrating, observing our Holy Shabbat. And totally horrifying is the fact that it'll soon be a full year that we're at war.

Maybe I didn't use the right verb in the previous sentence. That's because the State of Israel isn't actually fighting the war. It has been in a strange dangerous paralysis for most of the past 11 months.

To win, be truly victorious, we must fight. No mercy to the enemy.

I haven't seen that at all.

If Gd forbid there isn't a change soon, some day in the future, military historians will explain that Bibi's adoption of an unprecedented woke "morality" of warning the enemy before bombing, feeding the enemy etc prevented Israel from achieving the victory they could have easily won.

Some of my favorite "buttons" from the past

I don't like it when people think they can label me or presume they know my opinions. I'm not that easy to label. I don't take orders from anyone. I make my own decisions. And sometimes my opinions are like no one else's. 

Here's something I wrote recently on facebook.

I have never been loyal to a particular political party in any country. I look only at policies, even more than leaders.

Over the decades I've seen too many politicians and political parties desert principles.

I'm a purist. I don't trust anyone. If something stinks, then it goes... that includes politicians and political parties.

Speeches and oratory aren't policies and facts on the ground. Promises are promises...

I know that not everyone understands this. Too many people say that they only, or have always vote for a particular party; they're loyal to it. They make their decisions, decide their opinions according to party leaders. They trust their party and its leaders. I'm not like that. Sorry.

When I started demonstrating for Soviet Jewry, demanding that the leaders of the USSR release Soviet Jews from their prison-like country. One of the signs we held up showed the number of synagogues that had been in various cities that became part of the Soviet Union in 1917. Those numbers were compared with the number of synagogues in the same cities in 1965. Yes, there were far fewer. The message was very clear. Communism doesn't allow people religious freedom in addition to not allowing them to leave the country. 

"Enlightened" sic Americans were still enthralled with the idea of communism and socialism. Not me. I didn't go to the same demonstrations my peers attended "religiously." You could say that I chose a "different religion." My determined observance of Torah Laws certainly separated me from fellow Jewish students. Then I discovered Zionism, the mitzvah, religious requirement, to live in our Holy Land. That's why I live here in the holy city of Shiloh, the same place written about in the Bible, where the Ancient Tabernacle had stood for almost four hundred 400 years. 

I go straight to the source and I abhor double-talk, which is a reason I don't trust Prime Minister Binyamin Bibi Netanyahu. I've been listening to him and observing his policies for many years. He has been conning the Israeli public and people all over the world pretending to be a strong Right patriot, but his policies are something else entirely. So are his speeches. The important thing is to listen to the end. I caught onto that many, many years ago. 

Netanyahu's recent Congress speech was the same pattern/structure as what I heard in August, 2008. He hypnotizes people in the first part of his speeches, and then when most people are no longer listening to the details he tells the truth. By then most people aren't paying attention to the details; he has captured them. When I heard Bibi at the First International Jewish Bloggers Convention he announced that he'd return to office as Prime Minister as a "centrist." I heard him clearly, but it doesn't seem like others had paid attention.

The first three quarters 3/4 or so of Netanyahu's Congress address was wonderful. Yes, of course, Binyamin Netanyahu is certainly one of the world's greatest orators. He's responsible for his speeches, not hired writers. You can see it clearly when it's off the cuff. His knowledge of world and Jewish history qualifies him to teach in universities like his father had. But that doesn't mean that his policies, especially military/security are what the State of Israel needs.

Soon after Netanyahu voiced the slogan #neveragainisNOW which is one even I use on X, Instagram and Facebook, he took a different turn. He pledged that Israelis wouldn't return to live in Gaza, and from there it went downhill. That was a slap in the face to our brave soldiers who had fought so hard to destroy the terrorists and return to Gush Katif. It's so obvious to many of us that there can never be true peace if we're just policing Gaza and not living there.

After that Bibi sounded like 1960's druggy Leftist when he said that he "envisioned" peaceful Gazans ruling themselves. Duh? There's nothing pragmatic, realistic, intelligent about that...

If that wasn't enough, Netanyahu began bragging about Israel having "the most moral army" ever. Honestly, I don't think it's moral to endanger your own soldiers to protect the enemy. Over twenty years ago, local Shiloh soldier Avihu Keinan, HaY"D was killed in such an army action. Instead of destroying a building, which was believed to be in enemy hands, Avihu was sent in the inspect it, and then he was killed. His father organized various marches and demonstrations against the policy, and I attended and wrote about them. I remember Moshe Keinan asking "Why is Ahmad's life more important than my son's?" That's why I get very upset every time the Prime Minister and other government officials claim this policy is so wonderful, worth bragging about. It's so obvious that the Hamas terrorists will never surrender when we feed them and provide medicines. 

I call it suicidal. I'm a realist. And remember that terrorists don't wear uniforms. Photos publicized by the terrorists of October 7th, show clearly that CIVILIANS of ALL AGES were the rapists, murderers and arsonists. So why are we protecting Gazans as if they hadn't been involved? There's that famous recording of a phone call between a young Gazan terrorist and his parents bragging about murdering ten Israelis. His parents praised him.

Why is Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu bragging to the world about protecting, feeding and and sending medical care to terrorists?

Think about it...

Hamas/Gaza War Musings #26: Indisputable Victory, Gd Willing

 

The other day I took the bus to Shaar Binyamin, a large shopping area just north of Jerusalem, or describe it as on the way to Jerusalem for a large part of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. While wandering around the Rami Levi Discount Supermarket, which has grown since I worked in its Yafiz clothing store, I noticed these classic Israeli blue and white hats. I was excited to see on them a new perfectly timely slogan:

Many of us probably think that such a policy would be obvious, no need to shout it out. But unfortunately since Likud's Binyamin Bibi Netanyahu had begun serving as prime minister a couple of decades ago, such a thing hasn't happened. Yes, I know that he talks the talk, but he doesn't walk the walk.

Bibi is our longest serving prime minister, and his multiple terms have seen us suffer through more wars than any other. But he doesn't like the word "war." He has this creative "name team" that makes up other terms/words euphemisms for wars. He loves calling them "operations," trying to give the long suffering Israeli population the idea that we're not at war. You can also use the word "skirmish." Anything but war, because if it's a war, we have to really win it, meaning that the enemy should surrender. 

The routine has been that our cities and towns are bombed by dangerous rockets shot by Gazan terrorists. Miraculously few Israelis are killed. Bibi thanks the Iron Dome, an Israeli invention that we foolishly gave the Americans the rights to produce some necessary parts instead of making sure it's 100% made in Israel. That's why America has us hanging...

Israel's response is to waste our weapons. We faux morally warn the enemy to leave their buildings, so innocents shouldn't be harmed. Now, do you really think that only innocents--as if there are any truly innocent Gazans-- leave the buildings? We bomb empty buildings bragging that we're a "moral army." Our soldiers also carefully enter building to look for "civilians" rather than just destroying them. Many IDF soldiers are killed in the process. The truth is that we're the laughing stocks of the world. Our enemies consider us totally nuts, and they're right.

Instead of fighting until the enemy surrenders, we bomb empty buildings as if bombing empty buildings will make them surrender, Bibi tells us that "we showed them; now they know not to tempt us to fight." That may have been convincing the first time, but we've had too many reruns. 

It's more accurate to call these short wars "target practice for the terrorists."

I don't understand why Netanyahu hasn't been kicked out of office already. Why do people still trust and vote for him? As I keep reminding everyone, I wasn't alone when I heard him say he'd rule as a "centrist." Read Impressive, August, 2008.

This is basically a quick continuation of my previous War Musing, War Musings #13 We're All Hostages of Hamas, Dangerous Faux Morality & Pressures.

First I'd like to remind everyone that not a single solitary country, besides Israel follows the "war morality" that protects its enemies at the expense/endangerment of its soldiers and civilians. Honestly, I don't mind our being unique or first in some things, but being the one and only in this category is stupidly suicidal, not moral. The Nazis and Japanese would have won World War Two if the Allies had followed such rules.

Considering that Hamas attacked when Israeli society had been severely weakened by dissention, internal problems, makes it most similar the the Biblical Amalek. Amalek attacked the rear, the weak, like the terrorist Hamas. 

Israel's weakest border is/was the southern one with small communities populated by "peaceniks" who were so trusting of their Gazan neighbors that many didn't even have armed local self-defense staff. Many residents trusted their friends on the other side of the border. Afterwards, these friends were recognized in the security films of the surprise attack...

Biblical King Saul, the first Jewish king was ordered by Gd to kill of a Amalek, men, women and children, plus to destroy all of their animals. Saul lost the kingship, because he didn't obey those orders.

Earlier in the biblical narrative we hear Abraham debating with Gd about the destruction of two evil cities. Abraham, like many modern Israelis, worried about the "innocent civilians" who'd be harmed. Gd challenged Abraham to find a number of innocents, my version here, so they could be saved. In the end, not even a minimum amount of innocents were found, and the cities were destroyed. The only survivors were Abraham's relative Lot, plus Lot's wife and two daughters. When the wife looked back, she, too, was killed by Gd.

Belgium Joins The Antisemitic Hypocrites

Over ten years ago, I wrote a post here about the blatant hypocrisy of countries that ban shechita, the Jewish method of slaughtering animals. Yes, the same countries generally ban Islam's hallal slaughter, too. These countries claim that our ritual method of using a super sharp knife to cut a very specific part of the neck by highly trained slaughterers is immoral and cruelty to animals.

You don't have to be one of those traumatized as a child by the iconic Disney cartoon/movie Bambi, find that reason peculiar to say the least. Bambi's mother was killed by a hunter. Hunting is the killing and wounding of animals, frequently leaving them in horrendous pain, not the instant death of properly done shechita.  The research I did twelve years ago showed that  every single country that bans shechita permits hunting.



So, just to make sure I'm not mistaken, it was very easy to check if Belgium permits hunting, the epitome of cruelty to animals. Yes, of course hunting is legal in Belgium. Click the following links:

That proves it. The new law forbidding shechita in Belgium has nothing to do with morality and animal protection. It's just to make life more difficult for Jews.

Does The State of Israel Have The Guts?

To be a real "light unto all nations," a very nebulous subjective phrase, we the Jewish People and today's reborn State of Israel must be willing to do things other countries many not dare and even things that some Jews don't think are truly Jewish.

That's because so-called "Jewish Morality," sic, has been hijacked by concepts and ideologies far removed from Judaism and claim them as Jewish.

Liberalism and Democracy are not Jewish Values. They are modern western and European.

Judaism forbids us to "turn the other cheek," ignore attacks on us. The common practice here not to respond to rocket attacks on Israel if they didn't kill nor maim and caused no real "damage" cannot be defended according to Torah Judaism.

Making Torah Commandments more "modern," or PC-politically correct, was strongly condemned in the Bible. The Priest Aaron's sons were immediately executed by Gd for worshipping with a "strange fire."  And the first Jewish King, Saul, lost his kingship when he refrained from executing the Amalek king and killing all the cattle. Gd did not accept his excuse that the people wanted him to keep them alive for a big festive ceremony. There's no textual proof that the people made such a demand, and Gd's instructions weren't negotiable.

For the State of Israel to be a truly moral country, a "light unto all nations," according to Jewish Tradition we must separate from the ideology of the international Left, Gd willing.

This post is my reaction to the pain of the families who are still waiting for the Israeli Government to take effective steps to bring back their children's bodies from our immoral enemies.

LIKUD VS BEREAVED FAMILIES: A LOSE-LOSE SITUATION

“Palestinians,” sic, Their Elections and International Hypocrisy

The other evening I was thrilled to hear the phrase about Mahmoud Abbas and his government, “going into its eleventh year of its four year term” on the French English language television news station. That’s usually something you can only hear from people of my “political persuasion.”

The so-called Palestinians seem to be coated with top grade Teflon, since none of the usual expectations, morality, democratic or human rights norms are ever demanded or even expected from them. They function according to rather fokokt and patently immoral behavior, which is accepted by all those who criticize Israel for basic minimal self-defense.

Israeli soldiers are condemned for inspecting trucks, cars and passengers for knives, weapons and explosives, along with the more mundane uncertified agricultural produce, while at the same time Israelis are told they should expect to be attacked or even murdered if they dare to enter certain Arab neighborhoods. Yes, we victims are condemned, not those who attack us.

And yes, while Israel is the only truly western-style democracy with free elections in the Middle East, we, not the totalitarian corrupt Arabs aka Palestinians sic, are the international pariah, constantly condemned for so-called “human rights violations,” and our government rulers are threatened with arrest when traveling abroad.

That’s why I really don’t care what all those international do-gooders say and demand. They do not deserve my respect at all. They’re just a bunch of high-talking anti-Semites, though of course they deny it with their distorted faux morality.

Not All Refugees Deserve Our Help!

Extreme Left PM wannabe Isaac Buji Herzog has come up with another of his idiotic, dangerous headline grabbing proposals:

Israel must welcome Syrian refugees: Labour's Herzog
"Our people has experienced first-hand the silence of the world and cannot be indifferent in the face of the murder and massacre raging in Syria," Herzog posted on his Facebook page. Speaking at a panel discussion in Tel Aviv, he called on the government "to act toward receiving refugees from the war in Syria, in addition to the humanitarian efforts it is already making." (Yahoo News)

Duh?

Herzog can't actually believe that those Syrian refugees, who although they want to get away from their own awful government can be law abiding Israelis? Are the Arabs here in Israel peaceful, law-abiding and taxpaying etc?

Just because those Syrians may not get along with Syrian Dictator Bashar al-Assad does not put them in the category of the Jews who fled Hitler's Europe and other Jewish refugees over the millennia. There is also no connection to the Vietnamese refugees Menachem Begin invited to live in Israel when he was Prime Minister.

After the Lebanese war, Israel also accepted allies from South Lebanon whose lives would be in danger if they had stayed there. If you understand spoken Hebrew, here's the plea of a young Israeli-Lebanese woman from that community.

She totally opposes Buji's proposal. When it was posted on my facebook page, there were many comments bringing up further problems in Israel with his ridiculous idea. And don't forget that Mahmoud Abbas is also claiming to be in favor of it, although he has the most to lose, because they will support Hamas over Fatah any day.

And to show Buji's unabided hypocrisy and illogic, his Leftist Labor party is always claiming that poverty in Israel is climbing, so why welcome more non-Jewish anti-Israel refugees? We haven't solved so many of our own socio-economic problems? Israel is at present full of illegals who are taking over the poorer neighborhoods in the large cities pushing out and terrorizing Jewish residents. The crime rates in those areas are climbing.

True Jewish Morality demands that we first take care of our own and we aren't doing it. Are we?

The Faux Morality aka Total Hypocrisy of Those Who Oppose Jewish Life in Judea, Samaria and Jordan Valley

It never ceases to shock me when I hear of Jews, especially, who "will not cross the Green Line" sic, because they, in principle" oppose Jewish Life in any of the Land Israel liberated in the 1967 Six Days War.

I haven't heard of any who won't take the highway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, which crosses the "line." And I don't know how many actually are careful to avoid Jerusalem neighborhoods like French Hill, Ramat Eshkol, Ramot and Giloh which all have residents who follow Leftist ideology. And I'm not sure that there are many who also boycott Jerusalem's Old City.

But when it comes to communities like my very own hometown of Shiloh, they act on their "moral principles" which in actuality promote apartheid, pure and simple.

I've never been able to understand how promoting the segregation of Jews, forbidding Jews to live in certain places can be considered moral. During my recent visit to the states, I spoke at the Chabad of Jericho-Syosset, Long Island, and opened my talk by telling them how thrilling it was for me to speak there, because over the years when defending my right to live in Shiloh, I've frequently used the fact that since it's acceptable for Jewish to live in Jericho*, Long Island, why shouldn't Jews be able to live in the original Shiloh, Land of Israel.

These very same people who want to keep Judea, Samaria, Jordan Valley etc judenrein, which was the Nazi plan for Europe and then the world, are outraged when for security reasons Arabs are inspected or kept out of certain places. There are thriving Arab villages near us, but in Arab countries like Jordan, we are not welcome to live.

I find this principle of not wanting Jews to live in our historic homeland (or any place in the world,) inexplicable and totally immoral! It's out and out antisemitism cloaked in faux moral poppycock!

*Today, there is no Jewish community in the original Jericho, which is southeast of Shiloh. During Biblical times, after the Exodus from Egypt and forty years in the wilderness Joshua brought the Jewish People into the Holy-land via Jericho. 

Jewish Morality and the "Two State Solution"

Honestly, I think that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's greatest and most tragic mistake is his declared support for the so-called "Two State Solution." By doing so he has opened a deep cavernous pit of a Pandora's Box which endangers the continued existance of the State of Israel and takes what was once the policy of the Extreme Left and puts it Center-Right.

Now, our enemies have an easy tool to use against us with the official approval of the Likud Prime Minister. Obama: 'Difficult path’ toward Palestinian statehood. United States President Barack Hussein Obama is no friend of Israel but he's a passionate supporter of the Arab terrorists who are slated to administer such a country if it G-d forbid comes into being.

This week I was interviewed for an educational program (I will reveal more when the program is released to the public) about how such a scenario would impact on my life in Shiloh. The person in charge wanted his audience to hear from a woman and told me to try to give a personal, rather than political slant.

The institute putting this program together stresses what they consider "Jewish Morality," so I began by questioning the definition of Jewish Morality. Simply put, I disagree completely with their interpretation. Like too many Jews and Jewish organizations, this one embraces the idea that Jewish Morality means caring more for strangers/non-Jews than ourselves. They claim that this is a Jewish precept, and they strongly fanatically identify with what they see as "Palestinian nationalism" sic which they consider their responsibility to bring to fruition.

They unquestioningly support the "Two State Solution" and consider it sacrilegious to do otherwise. So my aim was to try to poke major holes in their basic belief.

Jewish Morality

I reminded them of the Talmudic Law which tells us that if we are in the desert with another person and have just one bottle of water which could save only one person, and both of us would die if we shared it, our instructions are very simple. The water is to be drunk only by us. We are commanded to save our life, yes, even at the expense of another person's death. This and this only is Jewish Morality! We are not to endanger our life for the life of any other!!! 

That means that it is against Jewish Law to "sacrifice for peace!"

All who recommend "sacrifices for peace" contradict Jewish Morality!

Another example to try to explain this is the story of King Solomon's Wisdom and the Two Mothers:

Two women gave birth at the same time. One had a live baby and the other's died. They fought over the live baby, each claiming that it was theirs. King Solomon suggested compromise. He would take the living baby and divide it in half, giving each woman half a baby. One woman accepted the compromise and the other refused, because she said that dividing the baby would kill it.
King Solomon then decreed that the second woman was the true mother, because she cared for the living baby and knew that dividing it would cause death.

The Land of Israel is a living being, and dividing it would destroy its present society. I have no doubt that G-d would not save the State of Israel if we do something so suicidal. Jewish History is full of cycles of destruction and exile. It would just happen again, and Redemption and the Messiah would be delayed.

The Jewish Morality in giving our enemies a state in our historic Biblical Homeland is as Jewish as Pinocchio's "Honest John" is honest.

Can We in Israel Count on The United States, United Nations and International "Justice?"

OK, I admit that I just wrote a lousy, too long title, but it accurately summarizes what we need to think about.

Yes, the council will discuss Syria next week, but that was scheduled months ago. And yes, High Commissioner Pillay mentioned Syria, yet she avoided any condemnation of its murderous regime.
Madam President, why is this monstrous crime being treated here with such apathy, banality and triteness? Where is this council’s moral outrage? Where is its sense of urgency?
Can a human rights body that ignores this atrocity be deemed credible, effective, or in any way relevant?
The United Nations, which constantly demands accountability, must ask itself:
Why were the killers of Damascus time and again promoted by this organization to key positions, awarded a legitimacy they never deserved?
When Assad murdered 20,000 in 1982, why was Syria sitting here, as an elected member of the Human Rights Commission, and then reelected? What message did that send?
And even after the current massacres began, why was Syria elected in 2011 to UNESCO’s human rights committee? Why is Assad still there, despite our repeated appeals?
Finally, why is it, that of the 10 Agenda Items for this session, only one specific country is listed, and it’s Israel — whose hospitals, as we speak, are quietly treating dozens of Syria’s injured victims?
Let us state the truth: if the UN allocated just one-hundredth of the moral outrage it uses against the only democracy in the Middle East, murderous dictators like Assad might have been shamed, isolated and weakened, instead of elevated, celebrated and strengthened as champions of human rights.

We, especially in Israel, and certainly it would do a lot for world peace if the entire world would just use some logic.  We can't trust other nations nor international organizations.  Israel must only trust G-d and, yes, go it alone.  The international concept of "morality" is farce.

We've Been Marching About This For Years!

Nu? So the Jerusalem Post editorial staff thinks they've "discovered America?"

Today they published a very convoluted editorial about how the Israeli High Court makes its decisions about military issues according to its concept of "morality." The editorial has its good points, which they tried to dull to a very PC finish.

For many of us, it's painfully old news.

Four and a half years ago, our neighbor, Avihu Keinan, was killed in an army action, planned to do minimal harm to enemy civilians at the risk of endangering our soldiers.

Avihu's parents obviously knew the risk of normal military action, but when they discovered that their son had been killed because the army had endangered him to protect the enemy, that was too much. His father Moshe declared a march to the Israeli President to protest the absurd, dangerous, perverse morality ruling our military.

That Succot, just two and a half weeks after Avihu's death, Moshe led us on a march from Shiloh to Jerusalem and then camped out by the President's Residence until the end of the Holiday. Since then it has become a Shiloh tradition to march to Jerusalem.

Many Israeli soldiers, civilians, police and border police have been killed by terrorists, because there's something dangerously "confused" in the Israeli concept of what's "moral." The lawmakers, the Knesset have invested too much power in the courts, especially since Israeli high court judges think their job is to judge according to their personal opinion, rather than law.
