Dumb Question Re: Elor Azaria Case

nydailynews.com
Besides all of the issues that everyone, including yours truly, have written about numerous times, there's something that keeps bothering me.
IncidentSite of the shooting, several months before the incident
On 24 March 2016, two Palestinian assailants stabbed an Israeli soldier and moderately wounded him in Tel Rumeida neighborhood of Hebron. Both assailants were shot and seriously wounded by Israeli soldiers.[3] One of the assailants soon died. His companion, Abed al Fatah al-Sharif, lying incapacitated on the road, was shot in the head and killed by Elor Azaria, an IDF medic serving in Shimshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade.[4][5] A video published by B'tselem, showing an IDF soldier approaching the supine al-Sharif and shooting him in the head from less than two metres,[6] went viral on Israeli social media, sparking controversy.[7] Wikipedia
How/Why was B'tselem there on the spot?

Yes, it's another of my dumb questions.

I can think of only one reasonable, rational answer to the question of:
How could that photographer been ready at the draw to photograph everything so quickly if he hadn't been involved in the planning and staging of the attack?
We all know that many Arab terrorist attacks in Israel are documented and "egged on" by the media and NGOs. Could this have been the case then, too? And if so, why hasn't this possible involvement been properly investigated by Israeli authorities?

As I'd written in my earlier posts about the attack, I find it worse than suspicious that B'tselem immediately shared silenced videos which were meant to distort the reality of the scene and make Elor  Azaria look much more violent and guilty than he was.

International Leftist Interference in Israeli Affairs

You certainly know what they say about paranoids having enemies...

In the USA there's talk of possible Russian (shades of the USSR) interference in recent elections. Of course, it all depends on whether you're a follower of the NY Times or FOX News. But here in Israel, it's very much documented fact that numerous countries and international bodies from the United Nations and European Union on down have been supporting anti-Israel and extreme Leftist Israeli NGOs for a very long time.

All the facts and numbers can be found on the NGO Monitor site, hat tip for the reminder, Ruthie Blum on Algemeiner.
NGO Monitor President Prof. Gerald Steinberg said, “The unique and disproportionate funding that a small group of Israeli NGOs get from European governments is used to influence Israeli politics and society. Over the past four years alone, 34 Israeli NGOs have received nearly a quarter of a billion shekels. Our new database brings this essential information directly to journalists, the public and decision-makers, increasing transparency in a clear, comprehensive and user-friendly way.”

In all honesty it is nice to be able to prove it, but I'd really like a way to stop it. No other self respecting country would put up with such sabotage. Yes, sabotage and espionage, too. These pro-Arab radical Leftists have succeeded in limiting the normal acceptable actions and procedures of the security forces, because their agents and cameras seem to be every place.

And frequently their cameras are so close to and focused on an Arab terror attack against innocent Jews it doesn't take much imagination and logic to assume that maybe those NGOs had actually initiated and directed the attack... I still think that was the original background to the Elor Azaria case, and it should have been very thoroughly investigated. Why was that cameraman there? You don't have to be a university math professor to add 1 + 1 = 2.

How's your math?

Was Elor Azaria Setup?

Although the legal/moral/political/philosophical debate about when and if to shoot Arab terrorists is a very old one, even predating our move to Shiloh in 1981, the sacrifice to 21st Century Political Correctness of Elor Azaria has modernized the controversy.

Elor Azariya, Arutz 7
The well-planned public outcry from the Left was spurred on by the convenient/coincidental or had it been pre-planned video of the scene by the extreme Left anti-occupation sic of B’Tselem.
The left-wing foreign-funded NGO B’Tselem, which holds its own government responsible for terrorism against Israelis — on the grounds that Palestinian violence is an expression of justified frustration at their plight as an “occupied” people — was on the scene filming the event. (Ruthie Blum, Algemeiner)
Considering the very simple arithmetic of 1 +1 = 2, I just can't ignore that crucial detail. Why wasn't B’Tselem prosecuted for complicity in that terror attack?
Consider that one of my "dumb questions."
And if B’Tselem had staged and planned it, then the suspicious heavy unseasonable clothes, which are supposed to be one of the signs of a suspected terrorist, were also part of the planned scene/act/terror attack. This entire case, situation travesty of justice and morality can be traced back to B’Tselem, no doubt at all. And the IDF and government leaders were the patsies the fools who fell for it. We all know that the so-called justice system here in Israel is so far to the Left, that they didn't need the distorted silent video to convince them.

Yes, Elor Azaria was thrown under the bus and made to pay for a crime he didn't commit.

Fallout from the Azaria trial was that there were IDF soldiers who fled yesterday's fatal Arab terror attack afraid to shoot the terrorist...

High Court Endangers Israeli Security

A supporter of Israeli soldier Elor Azaria, who is charged with manslaughter by the Israeli military, wears a shirt depicting Azaria with the words in Hebrew "Bringing the light back to Elor" during a protest outside the military court in Tel Aviv on the verdict day for the soldier, Tel Aviv, Israel. (photo credit:REUTERS) Jerusalem Post
A few months ago, the very talented movie-maker Tzvi Fishman produced a short movie which explains/predicts what court verdicts like the Elor Azariya one will make more common, Gd forbid.

I have said/blogged repeatedly that any Arab terrorist caught in the act should be immediately executed. There is no reason to waste our precious money, taxpayers money, on supporting/bed and board for Arab terrorists and then wasting even more money on trials and then housing them in prison for years. They attempted to murder or actually succeeded in murdering, maiming, terrorizing, and that is a crime that should end in immediate execution.

And we all know how many guilty murdering terrorists have been let free in exchange for hapless Israelis, civilians and soldiers, such as the Gilad Shalit story.

This controversy isn't new, not at all. I've been living in Shiloh for over thirty-five years, and from the very first days here, neighbors have discussed the issue. Do we act and shoot, or do we wait until... Yes, frequently innocent, well-meaning law abiding Jews wait until it's too late. And they end up dead. So, the common response is:
"I'd rather see you in jail than in a grave."

Brilliant Short Film Explaining True Situation in Israel

Tzvi Fishman, long time film-maker, originally from the states, has written, directed and produced the most brilliant and clear description of the situation here in Israel and the dangers of trusting foreign advice. It's best that you first watch the movie instead of my trying to explain it.

הכל בסדר, אמא, Imma, Hakol Beseder, Mom, Everything's Fine

Unfortunately, this is a very true scenario.

Israel's insecurity and growing unwillingness to trust its own instincts in terms of defense is a growing danger.

This is seen in the daily news, such as the disgraceful and dangerous media and legal trial against the young soldier Elor Azaria. And also the fact that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu buckled totally and agreed to sign the most damaging so-called aid sic package with the United States. Basically, this new aid package not only gives the United States full production control over necessary military defense equipment, but it endangers the economic viability of Israel's military industries. The only beneficiary of this "package" is the United States of America.

Please share this film far and wide to give people the chance to know the truth.

Did Elor Azariya Shoot Terrorist Post-Mortem?

Elor Azariya in court Flash90
No doubt that this whole story would make great mesmerizing  suspense movie.
In legal twist, expert says terrorist shot in Hebron was already dead
Former chief pathologist says he believes terrorist shot in Hebron in March had expired before Elor Azaria shot him • Findings contradict official autopsy results, as well as Azaria's version of the event • Testimony could see manslaughter charge revised. (Israel Hayom)

For the past couple of months, the Israeli public has been following the accusations and now trial of Elor Azariya, who when seeing movement of an already shot/injured Arab terrorist dressed in heavy clothing despite the heat, shot him.

A Leftist Arab (terrorists) sympathizer group photographed the scene and publicized it without sound. By muting the sound, viewers can't hear the shouts cautioning that the injured terrorist maybe boobytrapped, with hidden explosives. Their con worked, and public figures, including the then Minister of Defense, quickly condemned the young soldier.

We all know that one of the signs of a possible terrorist is wearing a coat or jacket in the summer, since outerwear can easily hide bombs strapped to the body. Many Arab terrorists have been caught before managing to activate deadly explosives, because they had been suspected due of their inappropriately heavy jacket.

Unfortunately for Elor Azariya, the Israeli media and Leftist politicians decided to use him to up their standing with the international Left. They have this dangerously fokokt ideology that terrorists are ordinary criminals, who should be given human and legal rights.

And now, out of left field, comes Dr. Yehuda Hiss, whose opinion puts an unexpected surprise on the table. The terrorist's  movements may have been just muscle twitches that sometimes happen at death. The original shots at the terrorist at the time he was apprehended caused his death, not Elor Azariya's bullets.

Does it really make a difference? Honestly, this whole trial and witch hunt is a moral travesty of justice. Soldiers in the field, like Elor Azariya and even citizens who find themselves in the midst of terror attacks, should not be held to civilian theoretical standards. And as far as I'm concerned, all Arab terrorists should be executed on the spot and never given civilian criminal trials.

This trial must be stopped and Elor Azariya set free, his record purged.
