The Dangers of Rebuilding Gaza

Reuters has an article up claiming that to rebuild Gaza it will cost $7.8 billion.

(Reuters) - Rebuilding Gaza will cost $7.8 billion, the Palestinian Authority said on Thursday, in the most comprehensive assessment yet of damage from a seven-week war with Israel during which whole neighborhoods and vital infrastructure were flattened.

I just think of the tons and tons and tons of cement Israel had so blithely allowed into Gaza these past few years, which the Gazan had used to construct advanced, sophisticated tunnels from all the way into Jewish communities. These tunnels have been used for kidnapping and terror attacks. This has been going on for years. Gilad Schalit was taken away by tunnel, which is why he couldn't be found.

During the "war," loony Leftists on Israeli TV fantasized about a "Marshall Plan" for Gaza that we would offer, so the Gazans would be as grateful to Israel as the West Germans were to the USA after World War Two.

Of course, nobody bothered to remind them what happened to the potentially money-making "Gush Katif" style hot-houses that had been bought for them after Disengagement to enable them to establish a high-tech agriculture industry. The Gazans, even those who for years had worked for Jewish farmers and knew perfectly well how to farm in the same advanced, money-making way couldn't be bothered to establish businesses. The main Gazan business is terrorism.

Accuracy and truth aren't high in the aims of the press and NGO's that report about Gaza. Due to the photography techniques I've been learning as part of 52Frames, I have no doubt that the Reuters picture in this post was doctored, just like the changes I made to the following photo:

The descriptions of the damage are also highly exaggerated:

"The attack on Gaza this time had no precedent, Gaza has been hit with a catastrophe and it needs immediate help because many things can't wait long," Mohammed Shtayyeh, a Palestinian economist and a senior member of the West Bank's dominant Fatah* party, told reporters in Ramallah.

Besides the American atomic bombs on Japan, the Germans damaged London more seriously and the allies certainly destroyed a lot more of Nazi Europe during WWII than Israel did to Gaza.

But facts aren't necessary for those reporting on Israel and her enemies.

In all honesty, and what I'm going to say is definitely not "pc," politically correct, as far as I'm concerned, Gaza should remain as unlivable as possible. UNRWA should be closed down. Let people escape to any country other than Israel. The United Nations, Europe, the NGOs etc. must stop supporting them. There never was a country called Gaza. Their "independence" and self-governing is a new modern and terribly dangerous phenomenon.

Without the massive foreign funding Gaza will lose its punch. That must be the aim. Rebuilding Gaza will just increase terrorism and be the wrong lesson to ISIS.

The "Rachel Corrie" Terrorist Peers

Rachel Corrie's family and friends have done a great job portraying her as a peaceful innocent killed by an immoral violent IDF, but the truth is that Corrie came to Israel to support Arab terrorists whose aim is to murder innocent people like myself, my family, neighbors and friends. She may not have converted to Islam and done military/terrorist training, but if she hadn't accidentally been killed for getting in the way of Israeli soldiers policing a riot, who knows...

Last Friday, my husband and I got a real kick out of a BBC report about the upgrading of the danger alert in Britain for a possible/probable Arab terror attack in England. It's not like we are in favor of attacking the British G-d forbid, but we thought their terror of Arab terrorism very humorous. It is especially ironic that the British can so easily see the dangers when it comes to their own country, but are completely blind to the dangers to the State of Israel. Sarah Honig also finds it interesting that the British are waking up:

The heart of any feeling human being must go out to the shaken Brits.  They have duly earned our most compassionate commiseration. Out of the blue they were suddenly confronted, most unpleasantly, with the information that American journalist James Foley had been beheaded by a born and bred Londoner. Ouch!

British politicians and security forces, just like the Americans and others, are ideologically blinded to the connection of ISIS to Hamas and, even like too many Israeli movers and shakers, Hamas to Fatah.

What was freaking out the Brits talking was the fact that many Arab terrorists, like those who cheerfully beheaded Foley, are from good, ordinary middle-class British backgrounds, similar to Rachel Corrie in the states. These terrorists are upgraded versions of the international Left wing groupies who are active in all those faux human rights groups NGOs that come to Israel to support the Arab terrorists, yes like Rachel Corrie.

Connect the dots, please. All of these Muslim Arab terror organizations are connected, and they are the ones who have been terrorizing Israeli civilians and fighting the IDF for decades. They control the PLO, which is the cleaned up diplomatic public relations version that gets sent to international bodies such as the United Nations. Their ultimate aim is to take over the world. Just read their literature and listen to them in Arabic. As the British are starting to realize, they are a serious threat to England in terms of security and basic values.

Traditional Christian Europe isn't reproducing. Maternity wards show the truth about Europe's future. According to Mordechai Kedar:

"If they wanted to integrate within the society, as European leaders had hoped, this wouldn't be an issue," said Keidar. "But since they want to keep their identities and change Europe, it is obviously a big issue. Every year more Muslims than non-Muslims are born in France.

There is no easy cure. Statistics and modern western values show that it's getting worse.

By the year 2050, in a mere 37 years, Britain will be a majority Muslim nation.
This projection is based on reasonably good data. Between 2004 and 2008, the Muslim population of the UK grew at an annual rate of 6.7 percent, making Muslims 4 percent of the population in 2008. Extrapolating from those figures would mean that the Muslim population in 2020 would be 8 percent, 15 percent in 2030, 28 percent in 2040 and finally, in 2050, the Muslim population of the UK would exceed 50 percent of the total population.
Contrast those Muslim birth rates with the non-replacement birth rates of native Europeans, the so called deathbed demography of Europe. For a society to remain the same size, the average female has to have 2.1 children (total fertility rate). For some time now, all European countries, including Britain, have been well below that rate. The exception is Muslim Albania. For native Europeans, it seems, the consumer culture has replaced having children as life’s main goal. (the Commentator)

This is causing great changes in European and also American culture. It is becoming easier and more common for even those not born as Muslims to identify with Islam's political and religious aims. Tomorrow's Rachel Corrie won't be shy about brandishing weapons and bombs, and she most probably will hide her jeans under a long coat and her hair will be hidden by a black scarf.

The Only American Guarantee I Would Accept!

Let them "put their money where their mouth is" as the saying goes.

By the way where is Kerry right now?

I would love to see the American Government place American families of American Consulate and Embassy staff in ordinary, non-fortified apartments in Ashkelon, Netivot, Sederot etc and then tell us how easy it is to trust Hamas and negotiate for peace.

That's it. We all know that those Hamas rockets from Gaza would seem a lot more dangerous if they were aimed at official Americans, not just the expats  and ordinary Israelis who do live there, in the "affected areas." The American Government should send the staff from Hertzliya to vacation on the pastoral border kibbutzim which have the tunnel exits for some R&R. They should be joined by the families of the heads of the NGO's which support "Palestinian rights" and "humanitarian needs."

No doubt they wouldn't agree to come, because...

.... you can't trust the Hamas's word when it comes to peace.

Caroline Glick's article this week is about Arab integration in Israeli society vs the NGO's, something the Left claims isn't happening.

A poll of Arab youth carried out in late 2007 made clear how widespread this integrationist impulse has become. Seventy-five percent of Arab youth aged 16 to 22 supported voluntary national service.

A study completed this week by Im Tirtzu exposes the vast array of NGOs generously funded by the supposedly pro-Israel New Israel Fund as well as by foreign governments which are running a campaign to oppose Cpl. Joseph and her comrades - Arabs and Jews alike. Since 1999, these groups have been conducting a campaign to undermine Arab integration into Israeli society specifically and to demoralize and reduce the social standing of those who serve in the IDF, national service and IDF reserves generally. The campaign is being carried out on a dual track of discouraging Israeli Arabs from serving in the IDF or national service, and of opposing government benefits to IDF veterans, reservists and those who undertook national service by claiming that these benefits unjustly discriminate against Israeli Arabs.
