There is no such place. What a disgrace to the memories of the victims, innocent French Jews who were shopping in a kosher store before the holy Sabbath.
It's a credit to the families of the dead victims of Arab Muslim terror that they came to Jerusalem to bury their loved ones in our Holy Land. They wouldn't defile them in French soil.

We are all one people, and an attack, an Arab Muslim terrorist attack on a kosher store is also an attack on Israel. The fact that it has been widely reported that the French Government tried to keep Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu away from the anti-terror march just shows how complicit the French Government is.

There is only one Jerusalem, and it is the Eternal Capital of the Jewish Nation-People

CNN is the voice of Anti-Semites. Let them rot in hell. Oh. By the way, there IS no 'West Jerusalem' as you rightly know! Well done Batya!
Yes, thanks, but davka they had the funeral on. I guess it was good for ratings.
West Jerusalem is the part within the pre-1967 borders. If the part beyond is East Jerusalem, this must be West Jerusalem.
The New York Times uses it occasionally:

East Jerusalem is more common.
Example:

Palestinians are seeking to form a state in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, lands Israel captured in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.
For weeks, the Police Department had been on heightened alert for terror attacks after a bloody rampage left four dead last month in West Jerusalem.
The two quotes wound up together. The West Jerusalem quote is from December 10. The last time was December 17.
East Jerusalem has a number of instances in January. The one here is the most recent, from January 13.
Sammy, I find such a "name" offensive.
CNN is going to distinguish between pre-1967 and post-1967 Israel. They wanted to indicate to everybody that the cemetery was in Israel proper. (and thus it was a kosher place in their eyes?)
They weren't going to leave people wondering.
Sammy, they would have had a field day if the families had agreed to the offer of Har Hazaytim (Mt of Olives.) At least the families were smart and practical.
I wonder if there had been thought of Mt Herzl...
West Jerusalem according to CNN is merely illegally occupied East Gaza.
Anything's possible, nu?
