Mrs. GR on a holy mission to Florida
Yisrael Medad and yours truly are getting along without our respective "ezer kenegdo" (what's the proper Hebrew plural for that?) -- namely our wives. Janet is involved in getting her 80-plus parents prepared to make aliya on the planned December Nefesh B'Nefesh flight. This is a daunting task, and we will be happy to have the prayers of the readers with us. As goyisherebbetzin was in flight, I was visiting the AACI office getting counseled and receiving piles of booklets. I signed the in-laws up as members of AACI -- Assn. of Americans & Canadians in Israel. We will soon be examining shipping, housing, medical care and more. We will ask for divine aid in dealing with a couple who are pretty feisty but good-hearted. May we be up to the challenge!

GR: My wife's parents, now aged 92 and 86, made Aliya a mere two years ago. They are in a very good Beit Avot in Petach Tikva, skillfully chosen by my brother-in-law [their son] who just "happens" to be a geriatric doctor. We wish you the best of success in this move!!!
I wish mine would!
