Not for Olmert. Friday doesn't seem like his favorite day. For weeks, it's the day he meets with the police, not as their boss, the Prime Minister, but as a suspect.
And this Friday, Olmert's supposed to resume his interrogation by the police. Now if he resigned--quit--he could be interrogated on other days.

And he's not the "Hang in there, Shabbos is coming!" kind of guy either. (That was on a bumper sticker I saw posted in a shop window in NYC years ago. It featured a cartoon guy with a big schnoz hanging wearily over the sign saying "Hand in there etc.)
When is his resignation supposed to take effect? I forgot - not that it matters.

Hadassa, as you probably know, I don't believe the resignation thing until I see it and know he's gone. He's a fake, like his cancer, which doesn't need treatment.
