Anything To Be Elected

The American public is being treated to a variety of articles revealing the shady side of campaign fund-raising. Who is actually footing the bill, and that's really "bills" in the plural. Running for office requires big, very big money.
It's not just in the United States where these kinds of things happen. Israeli politicians, too, have all sorts of staff and advisers controlling the hyper-ambitious politicians, writing their speeches, collecting funds and instructing them on what to say, etc.
Baleful Bundlers (August 10, 2008)
Family’s Donations to McCain Raise Questions (August 7, 2008) Big Donors, Too, Have Seats at Obama Fund-Raising Table (August 6, 2008)
Yes, these articles, just prove what I've been saying for a long time. They're all the same.

PS I still want to know who wrote Bush's Knesset speech? I'm pretty sure that Elie Wiesel was on the "committee." He was in the delegation to Israel with him, and he "does speeches."
