Olmert: All appointments made as minister were legal
It's all double-speak. It has gotten to the point when we doubt that any truth can come from a politician. Lying well seems to be a qualification, bare minimum requirements. Will anyone ever know what really went on with MK Esterina Tartman? In the end she'll say that some clerk wrote that she had a Masters Degree, and because of the brain damage she had suffered, it's hard for her to read intensively for details. That's why she trusted that everything was accurate.
It doesn't matter how many "expose`s" are publicized about Olmert's corruption, he'll just keep denying it, with a big, well-practiced, sincere smile, since You're never fully dressed without a smile. - Martin Charnin
Finally, remember this:
“The most guileful amongst the reporters are those who appear friendly and smile and seem to be supportive. They are the ones who will seek to gut you on every occasion.”
Edward Koch
