Listen Carefully--the Terrorists Don't Lie

We're the real pragmatists, rooted in reality.
Hamas proclaims victory threatens to destroy Israel after Sharon's retreat from Gaza

Hamas:
We'll target schools

Foreign Minister, Mahmud Al-Zahar:
Hamas will not hesitate to kidnap Israeli soldiers "to exchange for [Palestinian] prisoners, should the opportunity arise."

That's what our enemies are saying, and considering what they've done so far the world had better take them seriously. Even if the Israeli "elite" refuses to. Those who keep saying that those of us who believe that Israel must forever hold onto all of Judea and Samaria are "unrealistic" and claim that they are pragmatic are totally wrong.

Before I go any further, let's check out what "pragmatic" really mean:

You can't be pragmatic if you ignore what you enemy is saying and doing.

The International Left, including Israelis anforeignersrs, like former UPresidenttn Carter are filled with delusions. I just spent a very frustrating time trying to google some proof that Arabs want peace with the State of Israel. There's nothing. I got to the Peace Now site to try to understand their definition of the "peace" they're striving for and it's never explained. The closest is The Geneva Accords. The Arabs, your simple man in the street, won't accept it. There's nothing pragmatic there, nothing real.

Ask the citizens of Sderot and Ashkelon, the farmers of the Negev how safe they feel since Disengagement. Are the Arabs satisfied, willing to live in peace? Even left-wing papers are starting to publish op-ed's that admit to the reality that "ain im me l'daber," there's nobody to negotiate with.

Hoping, thinking, presuming are not pragmatic.
