"...U.S. diplomatic delegation which came to inspect..."(Reuters) - Jewish settlers threw stones at the cars of a U.S. diplomatic delegation which came to inspect vandalism to nearby Palestinian-owned trees in the occupied West Bank on Friday, Israeli police said....Not only did the Americans have the nerve to "inspect" what is going on here, disregarding our government, but they came with armed guards who brandished their weapons at the worried Adei Ad residents. They are lucky they weren't shot! They could have been shot for such a thing. Arabs and international anti-Israel anarchists have attacked Adei Ad in the past.
the delegation arrived at Adei Ad in U.S. diplomatic cars without first having coordinated the visit with Israeli authorities. (emphasis mine)
I have no doubt that if an Israeli consular delegation went armed, like the Americans, on an inspection tour in the Untied States the Israeli Ambassador would be sent home packing, and the American one would leave Israel and there would be so many complaints about Israeli "chutzpah."
I hope that instead of our usual wimpy apologies this time our Israeli Government demands that the Americans apologize to us!! Send the American officials home!!!

I am getting more and more embarrassed at being an American citizen as time goes by. It seems that Obama and Kerry's chutzpa (and stupidity) have filtered down to the lower levels including the consular staff you wrote about. Too bad indeed that they weren't shot for showing up without letting the IDF know their plans ahead of time!
Yes, Netivotgirl, trespassers with guns!
People are asleep. Isn't it obvious, the SOI has sold out and seems to no longer be sovereign. Everything happening points to it. Why would anyone believe anything other than the obvious? It's time for Moshiach.
They should be sent home. One sick American like Obama is more than enough.
Wai, wai, wait a minute! They came into ISrael with GUNS?! Really? How in the world did they get past security? Legally allowed to bring weaponry into Israel? They don't ask for gov't permission to go onto property/Israeli soil- they just quite literally hopped on a plane and then showed up at this destination?! No, seriously?!
a, yes, bad news but not news
Miriam, amen
Leah, the consulate people hire Israeli guards
Everyday I daven for Moshiach. I think I need to intensify my tefillos...
