I guess that the recent weather has depressed me a bit. Each news headline, government pronouncement seems more ominous than its predecessor. And each of our governments manages to find more ways to endanger us.
Listed here are some Israeli leaders. Please rank (by commenting or blog about it) the ones you consider the top three most dangerous to Israeli security, independence and continued existence. You can add anyone you think I've left out. I'm interested in your reasons, too. Thank you

- Israeli President Shimon Peres
- Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman
- Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon
- Defense Minister Ehud Barak

It is not one in particular. Everything in the toilet needs to be flushed. Pardon the analogy.
It would be harder to find even one reliable and strong politician.
The system puts all of these people in a contextual mindset that is so different from the people - with imagined realities and ignores results - that it's no individual person, it's the whole self-reinforcing self-defending system.
B"H
Although Shy Guy and Akiva make good points, I will have to say that Shimon Peres is the most dangerous one on the list.
Clearly Netanyahu has caved, assuming he had any interests in the country besides himself.
However, Shimon Peres is an significant Eruv Rav figure. He is the one really running the gov't from behind the scenes, and has been doing so for quite some time.
Furthermore, am I the only one who noticed that he has overstepped his "mostly ceremonial" role more many times?
I would say it's a tie between Peres & Ehud Barak. While the damage done by Peres is mostly in the past, Ehud Barak as DM scares the hell out of me. This pompous opportunist is a serial blunderer & I often wonder if he is not a CIA agent (LOL).
But as Shy Guy says, everything in the toilet needs to be flushed - no need to apologize for the analogy, it's accurate when describing politicians.
ya'aqov and "a," I agree.
Peres is the most frightening, because he seems so "eternal." very Dorian Gray
Akiva, that's a good point. Do you agree with shy, but you're using nicer language?
This is a little like: Which would you rather kill you? Ebola, Leprosy or the Plague?
Sorry for being so strident, but we should pray they immediately do Teshuva before they do irreparable damage to our country!!!Look what our former war hero Ariel Sharon did!!!!!(They teach his battle techniques at West Point I once read.)
MORAL people find it very hard to be in politics. I wouldn't be surprised if former Knesset member Elon (Rav Mordechai Elon's brother) got his cancer from all the aggravation he suffered in politics.
Another case in point is Rav Yitchak Peretz. I studied in his classroom at the Michlala in Bayit Vegan. He is a not only a talmid chacham, but a MARVELOUS speaker on Torah topics. He had a very short political life before returning to being the Rav of Ra'anana. (He was "bashed" by the media when he claimed that 45% percent of Russian olim were goyim. Little did we know then how much higher were the true numbers.)
It's so sad that people like Ruby Rivlin (a descendent of the Vilna Gaon by the way,) are so rare on our political horizon. ***sigh***
AMEN! Netivotgirl, you put it just perfectly!
Danny Ayalon with his born-again wife is up there, but Michael Oren, who is apparently already bought and paid for by the NWO is certainly a candidate. Ambassadors to the US like Rabin have a way of coming back as PM.
Goyish, oy gevalt, there are new candidates popping up every minute.
