So, Nu, Danny Ayalon Accepts the 2 State Solution

So, Nu, Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, the same guy who told the delegates at the OU Convention in Jerusalem that they don't have to rush to make aliyah to Israel. Now, he says that Bibi has to accept all previous promises/commitments as his own including a new Arab terror state.

That's bad news, because Obama and crew won't take "later" for an answer.

It seems like Bibi Netanyahu is using different ministers for different messages, while he stays quietly diplomatic. Foreign Minister Lieberman says one thing and Ayalon, his deputy, says something else.

Those tricks won't work.

The preasure is going to be immense. Folks, hang on for the ride.

Yep, and Israel, unfortunately, is acting like margarine in a heat wave.

See Israel Matzav's take on Ayalon and hope this his bottom line assessment is true.

Hashem Ya'azreinu.

Shy, I'm not as confident as you guys are. It's more like the:

man to woman: "Would you sleep with me for a million dollars?"

woman to man: "A million? OK"

man to woman: "Would you sleep with me for $2"

woman to man: "What? Don't be rediculous! What do you think I am?"

man to woman: "What you are has already been confirmed. Now we're haggling over the price."

what it comes down to is buying time. It seems like all Israeli governments of the recent past, even the left-wingers, don't really want to implement anything like Oslo, but they think that 'taking the initiative' they can drag their feet.
So far it has worked for over 15 years. The PA Arabs have proven beyond a doubt they can't govern themselves, and during this time, we've managed to A) kill the smart ones (actually the stupid young ones who took up arms against us) and B) allow many PA Arabs to leave to the west.
PA Arab birthrates are decreasing while Jewish ones are not. We think that Kadima and Labour want to get rid of land, but they really don't. So they pretend to toe the world line.

How about this one. "Thwarting Iran's nuclear program is conditional on progress in peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, according to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel."

And with Rahm, he knows our games we play, and he is using blackmail.

With Carls take, I take it with a big grain of salt.

We better wake up.

josh, I agree more with shiloh on this.

Believe me, I have no confidence in Ayalon or any of the others in power at present.

There is what to like in the Churchill analogy.

shy, glad we agree.
