Tuesday Night Live for Christians
Reports are coming in that Ari Abramowitz’s and Jeremy Gimpel’s Tuesday Night Live in Texas resembled a Baptist church revival with some token Jews in attendance. I often download the Arutz Sheva podcasts and noticed the ads for Tuesday Night Live in Texas. It's ironic that Jeremy Gimpel is doing this since on Tovia Singer's show a few months ago he described in detail how "disgusting" it was to be in the US and surrounded by goyim.
So why in the world is a newly ordained Orthodox rabbi doing a show in Texas?
I think of only two reasons:
1. They're being duped, or are flattered by all of the xtian attention and fatal-attraction like "love."
2. Arutz Sheva is starving for money and these mega churches are throwing it at all things Israeli.
If they want to be lights unto the nations, they should be explicit about Judaism and teach the Shema and what the word echad really means. One is one. Not a compound trinity one.
Let that be a litmus test. If they're welcomed back to these church conferences fine. If not, then it exposes these missionaries for what they are.
To clarify about my remark re xtian fatal attraction like love for Israel--recall that group that sent Bibi a barrage of roses. not a symbolic singe rose or a dozen but hundreds.
That's something an obsessed lover/stalker would do.

Sorry, but it's time to face the facts. Your self-righteous Rabbinical Judaism is man-made and un-Biblical, kids; the Messianics are the true Remnant of Israel. When you reject Moshiach, you reject Hashem. Boo, Hoo, you're no Jew!

Moshiach is not the central figure of Judaism, Hashem is; and like it or not echad is the word used in the Shema, not that other Hebrew word which I can't recall which means unity.
It's tragic. Millions of Jews died with that word of Hashem's absolute oneness on their lips. All done to worship Hashem but to light the nations of that truth.
And now young rabbis are avoiding that truth to the nations.
I found it interesting that Ari Abramawitz tried to egg Rabbi Gold into saying it was okay to teach Torah to gentiles.
If the gentiles are devout and committed noachides I say yes. Xtians? No.
Because they reject Hashem's true nature and His soul. I heard from a rabbi that when Moshe asked Hashem His name Hashem didn't use ani but anochi( sp sp). The letters of the word supposedly form an acronym meaning my soul is in this Torah.
It doesn't seem appropriate to share Hashem's soul with people who reject His Torah ie. His soul.
(Don't take it as authoritative, I am just trying to recall what a rabbi said. I might have gotten it wrong).

The court was secular, however I've read that the judges serving on the case in question were religious. Elyakim Rubenstein is definitely a "kippa seruga". In other words, don't get too excited about the situation in the secular courts in Israel.

We're not getting overly excited, but there was this glimmer of hope and - if reports are accurate - it was a beautiful and profoud decision making process.
Arutz Sheva has posted the Tuesday Night Live in Texas. I'm sure JI will analyze it and hopefully post it here.
I haven't watched it yet.
Jewish Israel heard that the content of TNL show was good pro-Israel hasbara.
The particular problem that Jewish Israel made mention of is with regards to the sponsorship of the TNL show.
But the post also put an emphasis on Ari and Jeremy's tour and whether or not it's appropriate and wise for Torah observant Jews (and in this case up and coming rabbis)to speak at church and messianic christian venues.
