Sad news for a proud family

Israeli talk shows have a new topic, Avrum Burg. Burg, the son of the late Yosef Burg, MK and Government Minister, representing the National Religious Party, has gone further away from his father's ideals.

Young Burg was seen by many as a man of great potential. A strong Leftist who wore the tiniest of kipot on his head, many thought that he may be Prime Minister.

Then something snapped. He dropped out of politics, lost weight and then left the country. He is now a French citizen. His views have gone more to the Left and further from mainstream Judaism.
