העליה לחומש של מועצת יש"ע התקבל אצל הרבה בספקנות, לאור הכישלון שלהם בהתנגדות לגירוש מגוש קטיף וההתרפסות לשלטונות (לדוגמה: ההסתייגות מהקריאה לסרוב פקודה והשבח לאלוף נווה). זה ברור שהעליה המאושרת הנוכחית התאפשרה בזכות האלפים שעלו בעבר תחת איומים של מעצר ומכות משטרתיות.
הממשלה החליטה לעלות את קרנה של מועצת ישע על חשבון 'קוממיות' ו-'חומש תחילה', במזימה עתיקת ימים של הפרד ומשול.
לכן, אנחנו לא צריכים ליפול במלכודת ולהתחלק למחנות.
כאשר מועצת ישע עושה משהוא חיובי, צריך לתת להם גיבוי, כאשר הם עושים משהוא שלילי צריך לגנות אותם בכל תוקף. אנחנו לא נקבל את מנהיגותם בשום פנים ואופן, אבל אנחנו לא נתחלק לשני מחנות עם החרמות הדדיות לא ניתן מחלוקות רעיוניות לדרדר להחרמות אישיות, אנחנו לא מפלגת העבודה!

Divide and Rule
The Yesha Council-initiated expedition to Homesh has rightly been greeted with scepticism, in view of the Councils blatant mismanagement of the opposition to the Gush Katif expulsion and its desire to pander to the government (e.g. in its dissociation from the call for soldiers to refuse orders, in its praise to Gen Yair Nave). It is obvious that this government-approved expedition was only made possible by the thousands who went up previously under the threat of arrest and police violence.
The government is promoting the Yesha Council at the expense of Komemeiut and Homesh First as a classic divide-and-rule strategy.
Therefore, we must not fall into the trap of dividing ourselves into camps.
We must encourage the Yesha Council when they do something positive, strongly condemn them when they do something negative. We must not consider them as leaders in any way, but we must not divide ourselves into mutually boycotted sealed camps we must not let an ideological divide degenerate into a boycott of personalities, we are not the Labour Party!
