Obama Has Taken Off the Mask

U. S. President Barack Hussein Obama is becoming more and more a Haman figure.  When Haman first mentions to King Achashverosh the need to get rid of a certain nameless ethnic group, he isn't too specific about his plans.  That's fine with Achashverosh who believed in delegating authority.  It was only after his beloved Queen Esther revealed that she's of the nation that Haman got permission to destroy that Achashverosh began to understand the mess he had gotten himself into.

This morning when I wrote a post saying that the United States isn't really a friend/ally of Israel, I had no idea that while I was busy at work, sans computer/internet, that Obama would spill the beans, take off his mask and declare that he expected Israel to withdraw from all of the Land we liberated in the 1967 Six Days War, a war that began because of Arab aggresssion, verbal and military.

Obama's urging that a Palestinian state be based on 1967 borders — before the Six Day War in which Israel occupied East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza — was a significant shift in the U.S. approach and seemed certain to anger Israel. (article)

Egypt, Jordan and Syria all made it clear that their war goal/aim was to destroy the State of Israel and push all the Israelis into the sea.

According to all international law, historic precedent a country that survives a war of aggression against it and finds itself in possession of land of its enemy that land goes to the victor!  Therefore, we should never have given the Sinai to Egypt.  Egypt lost all rights to it when it massed its tanks on it to conquer Israel.

Jordan gave up all rights to Judea and Samaria when it attacked Israel.  There had never been a Palestinian State.  There is no Palestinian history that predates the fiction people spout today.

Syria gave up all rights to the Golan Heights when it attacked Israel and lost it in the war.

It's about time that Israeli politicians act like rsponsible leaders and do what's best for the State of Israel and not try to curry favor with those who don't care if we survive or not.

Have a Peaceful and Blessed Shabbat

Israel should go back to the 1967 just like the US should go back to its borders before Mexican American war! We should give our lands right back to Mexico. Ugh that means I would be living in Mexico now. :(

There's no comparisan. Isael is part of a process that has been going on via the Jewish presence and histoy of thousands of years here.
Most Americans, except the Indians, are descended from invaders and foreigners over the past few hundred years. Their aim a new world not a primal homeland.

Actually I am going to disagree, In 1846 we had the Mexican American War - and that is what I am referring too. The entire focus on 1967 borders is because of the results of the war...Ok if this is why Obama is going to rationalize this. Then, the US should give up the territory we won during our war with Mexico in 1846-1848. This means the US loses Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada and parts of other states. In this way it is a valid comparison. One I dont like EITHER country making. But this is the Road Obama wants to go down shove it down his throat.

"They provoked Me with a non-god, angered Me with their vanities; so I shall provoke them with a non-people, with a vile nation I shall anger them."

Parshas Haazinu: 32:21

Commentary: Mida kneged mida, G-d will let them be defeated and subjugated by nations that have no cultural or moral worth, nations that exist solely to exact retribution against Israel.

Sound familiar?

Robert, that still gets people into equating us with Americans. We're the true American Indians who are being herded in reservations.

Moriah, thanks for the reference.

Achashverosh, not Hamman. I said this from the start. Heck, he's even married to an arrogant Vashti!

Amalek is based in Hevron, Ramallah, Shechem Jenin and Azza. There's a major mitzvah we have neglected to do for decades.

The bossy wife is Haman's! I've been studying Megillat Ester this year.

Batya,

Of course I am comparing Americans to Israeli. The point was to turn his argument on his head and show that uh...this sword he is using cuts both ways.

But, the indian issue is a red hearing..it was the fact that we declared war on a soverign nation, bulled the hell out of that nation and took as much land as we wanted out of that nation. Mexico. Not the Indians.

I loathe with the heat of a thousand suns what Obama has done. And at least the mask is totally off now.

cash, still don't understand

Robert, sarcasm and "turn his argument on his head" doesn't work. sorry

jdl, I'm listening to it right now. Preachers can be right about some things. We shouldn't think otherwise.
