Closed Comments to "Palestine: Fictional Country/People"

I'm really rather open and maybe too liberal (with a small "l")  about the comments I allow on my blog posts. It's very rare for me to delete a comment, other than the duplicates which periodically sneak in. And blogger, which "hosts" my blogs automatically "holds comments for moderation" on posts over a  certain age. That's because spammers inadvertently target them by blindly searching posts with the "keywords."

But this morning, an anonymous commenter wasted my time with such a total piece of garbage on "Palestine: Fictional Country/People" that I closed comments there!

He/she/it kept spewing forth with lists of ancient and totally extinct peoples/nations, which even in an active imagination and fantasy cannot be connected to what was recently (late twentieth century) invented and named, "Palestinian," sic.

The final, the very last straw for me was his/her claiming that Jesus was a Palestinian sic. Oh, come on; even mainstream Christian theology claims that he was Jewish. Their basic premise is that he "updated" Judaism, and that's why they call their bible "The New Testament," a term I don't use. That's because it gives legitimacy to that claim. I call it the "Christian Bible," because that is what it is. And we all know that using Wikipedia as "expert witness" is futile, because it isn't all that accurate. Anyone can submit their version of history, fact etc.

And there's a good chance that I'll have to close comments here, too, if that person continues the fiction/agenda here.

To make things clear. There is only one People/Nation/Religion like the Jewish People/Nation/Religion. We have a God, a History, Land, Book recognized as a Holy book even by other religions. We are a People, a Nation. We have a culture, and even though we had been exiled from our Land, we continued to observe the Commandments and Holidays and said the same prayers all over the world. And our Holidays and Prayers concentrated on the Land we never fully deserted. Even at the worst of the exile, there have always been Jews here in the HolyLand.

And unlike any other ancient people, today we are still alive and function and thrive and speak, read and write the same language we did thousands of years ago. We Jews are unique and holy! Other ancient cultures/peoples are just history.

עם ישראל חי!
Am Yisrael Chai!
The People of Israel--
The Jewish People Live and Thrive!!

God's word is not fiction, nor are his covenant people.

I don't understand why COMMUNISTS of all people keep trying to "prove" the existence of a Palestinian nation. If they were serious, they would ditch the whole "Palestinians are the TRUE CANAANITES" mantra repeated again and again by pan-Arabists and, instead, would celebrate the fact that the "Palestinians" are an "invented people" (which they most certainly are) because being such doesn't tie them down to the mythology of an idyllic past and gives them space to invent a new, radical culture which would further communist/socialist principles.

I am leaving the term socialist out of this equation because there are Zionist socialists who would not agree with this position. I am talking about Marxist-Leninist Communists and those who follow similar principles and tactics even after the fall of Soviet Russia. Communists are by their nature deceitful, basing their game plan on the ends justifying the means and making use of useful idiots. Communists have their own Bizarro-world messianic vision which leaves no space for that of anyone else. Therefore they are at war with Judaism in any form including secular Zionism. They are taking a rotweiler position that will give the big lie to historical evidence of the Jewish connection to Eretz Yisrael in order to force people into the anti-Jewish narrative. The useful idiots follow the flow because they identify on the gut level with the brainwashing slogan that progressive and left is good, nationalist and right is bad. So they just hype it with a gigantic noise amplifier to prevent people from thinking. Communists don't want people to think because that might interrupt the flow of propaganda and brainwashing. You are expecting the discourse to be rational. It ain't.

A yasher koach to you Batya. Your words were beautiful and said it all.

To the commenter who couldn't understand why the communists are in favor of the fictional people and their fictional history (everything). It's not only communists but every other ism (nazism included) who know the truth but are behind this gigantic LIE - and that's because of their hatred of the Jews and our whole belief system, Torah, and even, of course, G-D. That is the reason for using these falsehoods; it's all about destroying the Jew and what he stands for.

I agree. But not every "ism" is frontally opposed to the Torah. It may fit 5%, 20% or 90%, but never 100%. On a nice, sunny day when there are no major conflicts going on and we have worse enemies, you might want to make common cause with liberals or Zionist socialists or evangelical Christians. Politics works with alliances. You don't gratuitously insult people who might be against you on a given issue but might be with you tomorrow. Not even fellow Torah Jews agree with you 100%. But we can safely say that totalitarian ideologies such as Communism, Nazism, Wahhabi Islamism, which are sworn to destroy us and we have to work on opposing them with the most effective means possible.

It is very relieving that majority of Israeli leaders accept the idea of "Two states". Two state of Palestine and Israel can be regarded as the revival of two "old Judah kingdom" and the "old Israel kingdom" in the past. There's no Tanachic dictum that strictly determines Jews have to have only one state. Today's Palestinians mostly are Jewish by race as DNA research proved, they were Jews who converted to Islam. It is ironic Israelis still expected the mass return of Jews in diaspora (in America, Europe, even Africa, India and Iran) but they don't see or realise the presence of Millions of Jewish Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

Suppose that Palestinians "destroy" Israel (as the far right Israelis feared of), still the so-called "Palestine State" itself is so Jewish by race. Do Israelis realise the reason why certain Jewish-descended Palestinians voluntarily fled to pave the way for the coming of Israeli migrants in the year '48?
It is the duty of Jews to "educate" Palestinians that they were the same in the blood.

John S. said "What advantage then has the Jew? Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God."

The ancestors of today's Palestinians were the same those who received the Tanach. Their DNA proves it. The blood can't lie.
DNA and genetic studies
One DNA study by Nebel found substantial genetic overlap among Israeli and Palestinian Arabs and Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews. A small but statistically significant difference was found in the Y-chromosomal haplogroup distributions of Sephardic Jews and Palestinians, but no significant differences were found between Ashkenazi Jews and Palestinians nor between the two Jewish communities, However, a highly distinct cluster was found in Palestinian haplotypes. 32% of the 143 Arab Y-chromosomes studied belonged to this "I&P Arab clade", which contained only one non-Arab chromosome, that of a Sephardic Jew. This could possibly be attributed to the geographical isolation of the Jews or to the immigration of Arab tribes in the first millennium.[123]
Nebel proposed that "part, or perhaps the majority" of Muslim Palestinians descend from "local inhabitants, mainly Christians and Jews, who had converted after the Islamic conquest in the seventh century AD".[110]

30/5/16 20:42 Anonymous, Do you know why the Pan Arab movement didn't have any zeal to help, care, educate, finance, even weaponize or support Palestinians so seriously? Because they know better how Palestinians are Jewish in the past, they are even the "blood brothers of Jews" in the race. For Arabs, Palestinians are the impure Jewish-tainted Arabs. For the Arab purists (far rights Arabs) Palestinians are the 2nd class people.

Anonymous 30/5/16 22:21, Those Jewish-descended Palestinians choose the One God of the Tanach thru Islam rather than the idolatry of Christianity. By Faith, they don't hate the One God of Jews and the whole Monotheistic belief system of the Torah. It is permissible for Jews to worship in mosques. Maimonides was once a Moslem.

Am greatly disappointed to read some of the above comments from Anon re the Jews and l'havdil, the so-called palestinians and the two-state idea. What is wrong with these Jews who apparently do not know true history (Torah history) but instead the garbage spewed from so many of our enemies, both within and without our people. Firstly, there is no such people as the palestinians, who are ARABS that came from neighboring countries. Secondly, they have a murderous tendency which is an immediate indicator of not having Jewish roots. Even those who might have Jewish roots are no longer Jewish. The Torah tells us that when someone is exce;ptionally cruel (as within the nations & erev rav), you know that they are not true Jews. The third point is that our Torah definitely does only tell us of one 'Israel', Eretz Yisrael, which was given by H' to His children, Yisrael! The only reason that there were two separating 'Israels' was because of the sin of the breakup of the Kingdom of David/Solomon, which was caused by the descendant of Yosef, Yeravan ben Nvat. Their kings were all totally evil and this is what caused their exile of the ten tribes and all our tzarot from thereon.

There is only one Israel, Eretz Yisrael, which belongs to the true Jews, the Bnai Yisrael!

Israelis should educate Palestinians to love their Jewish roots. They hate Jews because they don't know of their Jewish ancestry. They won't go anywhere. They have been in Palestine and Israel because God willed them so.

Anonymous 31/5/16 18:55, who eliminated who in the years 45-48? Israelis feared of a possibility of their state getting destroyed, but the poor Jewish-descended Palestinians already have got their state destroyed by the existence of Israel since 1948. Yet now those Jewish-descended Palestinians agree to accept Two State Solution with their "Blood Bothers" the Israelis.

Anonymous 31/5/16 18:55, The Torah tells us to be honest, when Jews from Europe came to destroy Palestinians, expel, confiscate their houses, land, farms, those Jews were exceptionally cruel (as within the nations & erev rav), so you know that they are not true chosen people.
The Tanach (Jeremiah 31:31) definitely does tell us of two 'houses', Judah and Israel, which will be given the Renewed Covenant by God. Only Jerusalem shall be one.

Anonymous 31/5/16 18:55, What we know of "Judah kingdom" is in fact the Palestine and Arabian from the mother side. Palestinians live in Israel and Palestine because of marriage.
Notable Palestinian figures in Judean people:
.Shuah the Canaanite (wife of Judah),
.Rahab the Canaanite (grandmother of David),
.Maachah the Geshurite (wife of David, and the mother of many good Judah kings),
.Cypros the Nabatean (the wife of Antipater, and the mother of Herodian dynasty). Mostly Herodian dynasty were good toward Jews.

Furthermore, there were Jund Filastin.
Jund Filastin was once the most fertile region. Historians confirmed "In the 9th century, during Abbasid rule, Jund Filastin was the most fertile of Syria's districts, and contained at least twenty mosques,..Nebel research proposed that "part, or perhaps the majority" of Muslim Palestinians descend from "local inhabitants, mainly Christians and Jews, who had converted after the Islamic conquest in the seventh century AD"."

I think Anon 31/5/16 20:11 needs to be honest. No Jew came to Israel to destroy anybody, but to escape the Holocaust! If Arabs and their land were destroyed, it was because they struck first. This commenter needs to learn the other side of the story at the very least.

Please see hirhome.com for the real history of the fakestinians along with their agenda of finishing where Hitler left off. Prof Gil-White is a brilliant Catholic scholar who has been a guest on Israel National News radio. I have forwarded his information to even king Bibi, but politics as usual vs truth. What can we do.

Anonymous said...

Blogger CDG, please don't deceive yourself, you just put the cart before the horse. Jews create the state in 48 whereas Hitler was already defeated in 45. Holocaust has been stopped and become the past in 1945-1948. No, Jews no more need to escape the Holocaust after Nazis were destroyed because there was Holocaust anymore. That is the reason why Arabs accuse Jews of stealing their land. You just invented the myth of Holocaust in '48. Now, can you judge where the honesty is in your bias?

To Anonymous's: There are NO SUCH PEOPLE as the Palestinians. They are Arabs who come from neighboring countries. They have ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION to the Land of Israel. The Land of Israel was, is and will forever (eternally) be the Jewish Homeland given by the Creator to the Jewish people as an eternal inheritance!!!

The Palestinians are in no way related to the Jewish people, no more than all humanity is related to one another from Adam and Noach! If there are some because of intermarriage or whatever, they also are no longer Jewish, unless there are recent captives of Jewish girls where, hopefully, they can all be rescued by wonderful organizations such as Yad L'Achim.

These outrageous posts by these anti-semitic anonymous commenters should not be posted on such a great Jewish blog.

Shiloh, are you dreaming? only the state with the military capability of Nazis can do Holocaust, and that state is Israel.
Jews use the old fearmongering propaganda of the possibility of Holocaust for almost 70 years by actually doing the everyday Holocaust on the poor Palestinians who are genetically the descendants of Jews.

With the military defense Israel has right now, it is impossible for Jews to experience another Holocaust from the Palestinian stone-throwers. If there is the state that tries to continue what Hitler did, it is Israel.

Comments here are worse than in the other post!
The establishment of the State of Israel took centuries to be exact if not milenium. From the time of the exile there had always been Jews dreaming of reestablishing a state/kingdom independent of foreign rule. We are the same Jews as descended from those here all those millennia ago. Modern Zionism began in the 19th century, slowly making a Jewish state a reality. It created a momentum that couldn't be stopped even though the nomadic Arabs living here and foreign countries, especially Britain tried hard.

And so did anti-semitism, long before there was a name for it besides judenhass/sinath l'yehudim. Before Hitler there was Khmelnytsky (yimach sh'mam) (he managed to kill 1/3 of all European Jews even then,), and all the rest of them. In every generation someone rises up to kill us all and G-d saves us from their hand - usually. Zionism was always in our heart, the way we mean it, Batya, not the G-dless kind; but our enemies never, never wanted to see us recover.
