The world has been watching Libyian Muammar Gadhafi's exploits for over forty years. As I remember, he wasn't taken very seriously way back when, but he has been in power longer than anyone besides Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain.
Will he really be captured? Nobody seems to know at present.
If that happens, would he be rejected, as Meir Lansky was? Granted, it's a disservice to Lansky to compare them.
Current events are better than the "Perils of Pauline" or Who Shot JR Ewing?

"The humorist in me wonders if he'll suddenly show up at some Nefesh B'Nefesh office and demand refuge in Israel as a Jew."
I imagine that would depend on how many left of left wings Jews are in Israel.
LOL. This post made me smile:) For some reason I thought of an episode of The Simpsons--Homer for some reason runs into rev. Lovejoy's church shouting, "Sancturary! Sanctuary!"
Lovejoy: "Oh, why did I teach him that word?"
Isn't this an insult to Homer?
Keli, this has nothing to do with the Left. Actually, I had been thinking of Haiti's "Baby Doc" who took "his" money and stayed exiled in comfort. No, not in Israel of course.
