Earthquake Then Hurricane, Is There A Message?

Life in New York, and the rest of the East Coast this August hasn't been dull.  First an earthquake and now that awful hurricane, Aunt Irene is churning things up.

I understand that various spiritual leaders are blaming the legal approval of "gay marriage," but according to the Bible only Eretz Yisrael, The Land of Israel, the Land Promised to the Jewish People is subject to punishment in that way.

Our rain and other "natural" events are controlled by G-d as reward and punishment.  As in the joke, "G-d's a local call here."

Wherever you are, there is still the issue of This World and the Next, reward and punishment.  Next week we begin the month of Elul, the time for  Teshuva, Repentance.  If you're stuck home waiting out the storm, it may be a good idea to get a headstart.

Stay safe wherever you are...

No, there is no message. Earthquakes, storms and similar events occur throughout history; since before there were ever humans on this earth, and they will continue for long after.
