"Livni Urges PM to Freeze Judea and Samaria," So Let's Freeze Livni

I wish it was possible to freeze Tsippi Livni.  She has done this country enough damage.  If only we could take her and Ehud Barak and their fellow travelers....

This is our Land.  Jewish History predates all the countries, cultures and ideologies which are trying to order us around.

The very worst is that our own government, here in the State of Israel has lost its way and tries to please and placate our enemies.

Notice that sometimes I write "Land of Israel" and sometimes "State of Israel."  That's because they are not the same.  The State of Israel, even with Judea and Samaria does not include all of what really is the Land of Israel.

We have a long historic and spiritual right to the Land of Israel.  It is central to the Jewish Religion and the Jewish People.  Without recognizing these rights it's impossible to defend Jews in Tel Aviv.  I don't understand how the Israeli Lala Left is blind to the fact that their philosophy actually takes away their rights to their Israeli homes wherever they are.

They're not totally blind. They're myopic. They have a hard time seeing beyond Gush Dan. And they'll have an even harder time admitting that they've been wrong, whenever that happens...

Self-centered for sure, but how can they rationalize their rights to TA if they deny ours to Jewish Historical Land?

They are not blind at all. They know exactly what they're doing.

They need to destroy national Religious Zionism.

To succeed, they need to destroy Yesha.

It has never been about TA. It always been about power to them.

That's true. During the British Mandate they were allowed to control who would receive entrance visas and they kept out the two "R's" the religious and the Revisionists.

and of course, not all of the state of israel is part of the land of israel, and should be given up.
at least that is what your logic seems to dictate.

a, the borders of the land of Israel aren't static, they can grow. According to Rishon L'Tzion Rav Nissim, ZaTz"L, any land liberated by our Jewish Army (IDF) is included the holiness of the Land of Israel. This was his response to a question asked in NY during his visit some time between 1968 and our aliyah in 1970.

Batya,
The reason why Yehuda and Shomron have kedusha is because it's the Land of the Torah. Beit el is where Yaakov lived. Shilo is the place of the Mishkan. Chevron is the city of the Avos which Avraham bought for 400 shekel. Plus so many other things.

The world doesn't have to acknowledge this. The Arabs who were migrant workers or the ones who squatted on the land from the times of the Ottomans don't have rights to this land .

Until 1929 there were always Jews in Gaza, a large Jewish community.

Absolutely right NormanF. I was thinking of the myopic idiots that vote for the evil politicians.
Gaza was once an alternative aliya l'regel site for Jews who were prevented from reaching Jerusalem. Haggai Huberman has done quite a bit of research on the Jews of Gaza. His books and articles are a valuable resource to anyone wanting to know the true history of Jews in the Gaza region.

Hadassa, the downside of democracy is that idiots have the same voice/vote we do.
