Hillel Fendel, who wrote the article, is not that young. There are plenty of relatively establishment "soft-right" Bibi-ish or Yesha Council type things in A7, without mentioning embarrassing names. Purity of terminology is not going to be adhered to as a corporate standard at A7. If you look at various religious Zionist media, such as the newspapers (Besheva, Makor Rishon merged with Hatzofe) and the Shabbat parsha sheets, you see an interesting mix. With the exception of the Kahane sheets, all of the other sheets have supporters of the hilltop youth in parallel with the Yesha Council rabbis both writing in the same publications. Nobody is excluding the people who were responsible for throwing the game to the expulsionists three years ago. That is more annoying than calling Peres "mainstream". The New York Times and the Washington Post and CBS and NBC are called "mainstream media" (MSM). Peres fits right in. I don't mind that. What I do mind is how we all grab up the pieces of paper with an article by a rabbi like this in one corner and a rabbi like that in the other corner. What's the point? It legitimizes the illegitimate. Shall I do a full-blown blog entry on this? I'm becoming an amateur media analyst these days.
Sure, goyish, blog a post about it. You're certainly more intelligent and knowledgable than those guys getting paid for their norishkeit.

Frankly, we should form some sort of society for us mouse-click media analysts. Maybe I never did my homework in high school for critical thinking classes, but it seems to have given me the tools to see through it all now. Oy, sometimes I wish I was naive like most people who actually trust the media.
I used to love the weekly A7 media show.
As for Hillel, I don't know him, but I think that the vast majority of his work is fine, there are the odd slipups I suppose. I assume there is a lot of stress to get the articles out and it's evident occasionally with redundant articles in the daily report.
