No Vision!

Instead of offering an inspiring vision to give us confidence and faith, the "national religious rabbis" are looking for some "fine line," a compromise between Torah and the government. They're trying to lead us on a tightrope to hell, I'm sorry and disappointed.

It's like Judah the Maccabee trying to make a deal with the Greeks.

I was somewhat upset with Rav Sadan's booklet mantra last week, and then this booklet came out continuing the shame. It's sad to note that these rabbis (whoever initiate the booklet and wrote the first draft, as well as the others who got sucked in) decided to speak for all national-zionists.

What was their motivation? Why the surrender to secular zionism? Why the beginning to prepare us to leave the entire Judean and Samarian areas? Don't they know that this is leading us to disaster? Why the rush to repeat the sin of the golden calf AND the sin of the spies?!

I think that it's 'us'. Not you and me personally, but all the lovers of Israel, all the real 'zionists' who crave for the true return from four points to zion. I think that for the tikun of the meraglim incident to be complete, the people (ha'am) must rectify the damage we did three thousand years ago when we rejected the land of Israel.

Does somebody have an interest in promoting rabbis with "appeasing" attitudes? We should make an effort to promote the views of R Ginzburg, R Dudkevich, the members of the Sanhedrin (R Adin Steinzaltz) and R Shapira.

Josh, Yoni,
Yes, all of us, like "the little red hen" who did it herself. We can't wait for "others."
