Anti-Semitism vs Anti-Zionism

Soccer Dad has an interesting post discussing Anti-Semitism vs Anti-Zionism. IMHO, it's all the same. Anti-Zionism is the opposition to Jewish Nationalism, based on the hatred of Jews. And even though technically, Arabs are Semites, anti-Semitism has nothing to do with hatred of Arabs.

Here's great presentation about the issue.

Batya,
I definitely agree that anti-Zionism is antisemitism. What I was trying to say, but not as clearly as I would have liked was that just as Wilhelm Marr invented the term antisemitism to show how "enlightened" he was, the folks who are now anti-Zionists use the term to boast their own progressivism. Admittedly, the analogy isn't perfect. Marr was proud of the fact that he hated Jews; anti-Zionists today deny that they hate Jews, even though there is no other way to interpret their actions.

BTW, recently you've written some very nice things about me (in re) Haveil Havalim and I haven't properly acknowledged them.
Thank you. And sorry I've been remiss.
