Women to the Rescue

Yesterday I gave the Dvar Torah, short sermon at our Women's Rosh Chodesh Prayers at Tel Shiloh.  In short:

The two worst events/themes of the Book of Shoftim Judges is the story of Pilegesh HaGiva causing civil war and the repitition that "There was no king..."  And what were the tikkunim corrections, cures?
The Jewish people reunited by Benjamin men choosing from the women who danced in Shiloh on TU b'Av and Chana raising Shmuel to annoint the first kings.  Both connect women to Shiloh!

Yael Ziegler, at last night's Siyyum at Matan said the the tikkun for Judges came from Ruth, great-grandmother of David and from Chana.

Yes, women to the rescue of the Jewish People!
