Hakarat HaTov, Something Good from Appease aka Peace Now

Even Appease aka Peace Now has its good points.  It invests lots of money and time photographing the holy Land of Israel and documenting our observance of the all encompassing mitzvah, G-d given commandment to settle the Land,  ישוב הארץ yishuv ha'Aretz.

It's said that:
  • "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
  •  “Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it”
  • "The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart”
It's very sad that so many Jews don't appreciate the centrality and holiness of our precious Land to Judaism and the legitimacy of the State of Israel.  By denying this Appease aka Peace Now is systematically chipping away at the security of our state.  They are dangerously misguided.

Unfortunately, no matter what I write, the chance that members and supporters of Appease aka Peace Now will read is almost nil.  And the chance that they will be influenced isn't much higher.

The Jewish People have a long and well-documented history as a People and Nation in this part of the world.  No other people ever existed here as an independent country.  The Land was waiting desolate and almost totally empty until the Zionist movement brought Jews to settle the Land.  Yes, settle the Land.  There was no state, green line or any border restricting Jews, just the British Mandate.

Please don't forget that Jews stayed in the Land of Israel from the destruction of the Holy Temple and to this very day.  There were always Jewish People here in many of the cities, but it took the Zionists to remind them that we are a nation, and a nation needs its own state.

G-d willing, I and the many others who think and write like I do will succeed in turning the tide and convincing Appease aka Peace Now that they are mistaken and we are right, yes, Right is correct.

I'm a Christian and believe as you do. I wish more Jews would be in agreement. Through sweat, blood, and tears the Holy Land is by right and by God of the Jews.
