A Cartoon About The Gazan Arabs That Says it All, Plus Voices From Southern Israel

The news casts claim a "ceasefire," but my friends in the south keep updating us on facebook about more potentially deadly missiles landing near them, launched to kill by the Gazan Arab terrorists.
Listen:
"Siren and boom boom"
"‎5 or 6 loud booms"
"I'm really starting to feel like we're under siege. The sirens and BOOOOMS are unending. And having the best army in the world doing nothing meanwhile too end this is quite frustrating."
".... I'm so sick of hearing 'nobody injured; just property damage...' My 17 year old niece in Be'er Sheva is so stressed that she's barely functioning. When the sirens ring, she freezes. It's never been this bad since Cast Lead; Over 130 rockets since Friday night and non-stop sirens and BOOOOOOOOOOM!"
"We just had a grad missile land here in -. Nobody injured but scary as HE** 'cuz it sounded close by...... What cease fire?"

Shalom!
The Arabs actually don't have a word for ceasefire. I can't remember how it's translated into Arabic, but the word means something like "temporary break in fighting for the purpose of restocking weapons", so the cartoon is very close to being etymologically accurate.

I'm glad you quoted me. My Dad is in ICU in the States so I'm not in a state to post at present. I am just so durned angry!! We've the best army in the world waiting near Kibbutz Sa'ad, dying to go in there and clear out those bas**rds and our brave gov't won't let them!! This thing has got to stop, and now sooner rather than later!!!!

Thanks for quoting me Batya; I'm not up to posting since my Dad is in ICU right now. What's frustrating is that we have the best army in the world massed near Sa'ad, just waiting to go in and get those bas**rds, but our brave p.m. won't give them the go ahead! This has got to end, and sooner rather than later!!!! Netivotgirl

Thank you Shy. It's a good word to know, unfortunately.
