Jewish Building in The Land of Israel
I live in Shiloh, in the Land of Israel, Eretz Yisrael, the Land G-d ordered us to go to, לך לך Lech Lecha and conquer and settle. For the last sixty-three years there has been an officially recognized state in portions of that Land. Modern secular borders don't concern me all that much. They are temporary. They can expand, contract whatever. The holiness of ארץ ישראל Eretz Yisrael, The Land of Israel stays the same, no matter what government is in charge, roads, sewers, water, electricity etc.

Delighted to see the building progress but can you tell me what the position is on land ownership. Do Jews have the right to take occupied land by force or is it necessary to pay for all such land. And what is the position on unoccupied land?
We have been contemplating Aliyah for some time and actually drove through Shiloh and other Shomron communities. We have taken 2 pilot trips thus far and are continuing to research. Are there any new homes available that are currently being built? Thanks.

All the best to you. But that's no reason to keep territories occupied that were dedicated to the set-up of an arab state by the UN in 1947, with Israel's approval...
@ gruen if the arabs are not prepared to establish a peaceful state, how can Israel withdraw? If they did and the arabs used this land as a platform for further attacks, what would you recommend? Also, assuming the arabs get their stuff together to form a peaceful state, surely they would be peace-loving enough to accept a Jewish minority as citizens?
aparachik, nothing was taken by force. As you can see, the land is empty and has been for thousands of years.
a, yes, there are two private projects building terraced apartments and there are also new Amana houses. Our school is great, too.
Keli, yes, Shiloh is special.
gruen, the Arabs rejected it. So it has no legal standing now.
