First a couple of days ago, there was news that Likud MK Ayoob Kara expected a ministerial post. Kara has been considered "Right wing."
A supporter of Moshe Feiglin's Jewish Leadership faction in the Likud, Kara strongly opposed the Disengagement and refused to defect to Kadima in then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's wake. He was not re-elected to the Knesset in 2006, when the Likud won only 12 seats, but he is once again entering the Knesset on the Likud list Tuesday.
Now he claims to have been a secret envoy of Bibi Netanyahu in negotiations with the Syrians. (Hat tip IMRA)
But at the same time, Dore Gold claims that Bibi isn't focusing on Syria.
What surprises will Bibi spring on us?

After you fix your link to the Ha'Aretz article, read the accurate up to date details in the Jerusalem Post and breathe a sigh of relief - at least as far as Kara goes. I'm not referring to Netanyahu.
Thanks, Shy, I also fixed the IMRA link. Somehow blogger added stuff.
