Nothing was learned from the Yom Kippur War!

Outrageous, is the least of it. For those who are young or may have forgotten. Before Yom Kippur 1973, Our "Information/Security Services" saw worrying movement on the Egyptian and Syrian fronts, but the politicians in charge of "interpreting" the information decided that it went against their "theories," so nothing was done. And the Arab attacks killed many soldiers and endangered the existence of the State of Israel. Miraculously we defeated the enemy. American supplies were intentionally held up by orders of Nixon and Kissenger.

I'll let this short article speak for itself!

Report: Data on Hizbullah Was Kept from Northern Command
11:40 Nov 03, '06 / 12 Cheshvan 5767

(IsraelNN.com) Sensitive intelligence information on the location of Hizbullah bunkers was kept from the Northern Command prior to the war, according to an Israeli newspaper. The authors of the Ha'aretz article did not attribute their information to a particular source.

They claimed that intelligence personnel said the information could be made available only in time of war. Lack of details of terrorist positions prevented the Northern Command from being able to make routine preparations and some of the information also was withheld during the war.

Israel needs to point out to Russia that they have their own terrorists.
The US should start arming Kurdish rebels in Syria and Iran yesterday. Let Syria get a taste of its own medecine.
