Beyond Putting Out Fires

I just read Yitz's post and wanted to comment. Then I realized that it deserved a post in its own right.

The problem is that we (who dare to think of such things!) are looking at cutting off the free electricity and all sorts of other things as temporary sanctions to be ended when they give us back our boys. This is wrong. They deserve NOTHING from us. Either we annex ALL of Judea, Samaria and Gaza and there is no more foreign governmental entity in our midst or we do not. Hevron = Gaza, riddled with nightmare tunnels that we formerly knew nothing about. If they want electricity, water, other services, they have to PAY for them just as we Israeli citizens do. If they can't, their problem. We owe them NOTHING. If I want to give charity, I give it to people who are deserving, and in ways which will help them and be good for the general social outcome. This is neither. Nor does anyone ask me when the government does it.

We can't go on letting the "Palestinians" keep up the terror infrastructure, with the support of US, EU, UN, various NGOs. This emphatically includes the schools which teach its ideology. Israeli schools, for Jews and non-Jews, should be the only ones in Eretz Yisrael. Either they teach the Torah to Jews or they teach the Seven Noahide Laws to non-Jews. Teaching murder and lawlessness is a capital offense according to the Torah. Even for a secular Jew, what about that don't they get? It is a sick ostrich-type, head in the sand, mentality to think otherwise. We take back all of the land, we go from reluctant conquerors to proud liberators. We liberate not just the land, not just our people. We liberate the mixed Arab-Jewish multitude who call themselves Palestinians from the brutality from which they suffer much more than we do. All of the intifadas claimed many more Arab victims than Jewish.

We must teach Arabic in our schools. We must train Israeli teachers to teach a civics course, if necessary with a tank parked outside the school, or perhaps under dormitory conditions like those for children of abusive families. No more kids with extracurricular activities of stoning or making molotov cocktails. We cannot both take responsibility and not take responsibility for the people called "Palestinians". Either they are us or they are just another Arab country.

The truth is that they are both in our midst, economically part of us and also closely related to us. According to the research of Tsvi Misinai, over 80% of "Palestinians" have Jewish ancestry, proven by historical research or DNA. A not inconsiderable group are actually halachically Jewish. With proper education they can be brought back. You don't want them? Too bad. There are rabbis who want to convert all sorts of totally non-Jewish Russians just because they live here after getting here by fraudulent means in order to counterbalance the "dangerous" religious birthrate. What about those Jews who are anusim among the Arabs, whose mothers or grandmothers were taken or lured into Arab villages and bore children who are considered Muslims by the Arabs? Are they chopped liver? Why must they be swallowed up into the bowels of terror schools? An Arab gets sick or wounded and we have so much mercy on him? What about these women and kids, prisoners in an abusive society? Clean out the rat's nest once and for all, for us and for them. Liberate the land, liberate the people.

But why do you speak that way about the Russian Olim? The vast majority of them are either Jewish and should be recognized as such, or have Jewish ancestry, making them זרע קודש who should be converted ASAP - according to all serious halachic authorities. Please do not speak לשון הרע against our brothers and sisters from Russia, who live here, serve in the army, pay taxes, celebrate the chagim with us, etc., etc.

Shimon -

They are Jewish from the paternal line. Judaism's matrilineal rule is a rabbinical invention. The Hebrew Bible speaks of identity passed down through the father. This is the belief of Karaite Judaism as well Islam.

It all depends on how you interpret the law and the interpretation - not the law itself - can be changed by a future Sanhedrin.

sorry, but have to disagree on a few points here. Firstly, commenter Shimon is wrong about the Russians; about more than half who arrived are not Jewish halachacly, as they might have one grandparent or relative who descend (patrineally) who is Jewish. They were brought in on purpose. That's a whole other story for another time. Also, the survey of 80% of Arabs living in Israel (pal.) being of Jewish descent cannot possibly be true. Abother propaganda lie. There could be 20%, but not 80%. The Arabs who were living in the Land of Israel were Arabs who came from surrounding Arab countries and even from Muslim Europe (Bosnia, etc.). The plague of the last few decades of rampant intermarriage is a relatively new tzorah, and that's because of NO Jewish education in the public schools for seculars to learn what being a Jew is and that means not intermarrying! Our sin, just as great as the sin of the Spies and the Golden Calf, was by not adhering to the Torah Laws of expelling the inhabitants when the state was created. But, it wasn't created by believing Jews, but those who wanted a 'new' Jew (mock Jews); therefore, all our problems.

It is made clear in Tanach that intermarriage is forbidden.

Deuteronomy 7:3:

neither shalt thou make marriages with them: thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
4 For he will turn away thy son from following Me, that they may serve other gods; so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and He will destroy thee quickly.
5 But thus shall ye deal with them: ye shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and hew down their Asherim, and burn their graven images with fire.
6 For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be His own treasure, out of all peoples that are upon the face of the earth.

Also read Ezra chapter 9 & 10 and the second half of the Haftarah of Beha'aloschca. The sin, the filthy garments of Joshua was that he did not try to stop his sons from marrying foreign women.

The last paragraph is a little much. Until Jews in Israel and everywhere will understand that when it comes to the Land of Israel, there is only ONE guide, the Torah, and everything else will only backfire. There aren't many who are mixed (arab/jewish)in the Land; Jews do not butcher innocents as is the way of the so-called palestinians. We pray that orgs. such as Yad L'Achim and others will be able to succeed in curbing this plague of stupid girls running aways with our enemies; but what we really need is emigration of the Arab peoples to their native homes (at least 22 coutries).
