Chazal, our sages, say that there are shivim pannim l'Torah, seventy aspects/opinions on the Torah. Yid with Lid has presented, not quite seventy, but a very impressive holiday round up of jblog posts about Israel's 61st Anniversary of Independence.
I'll add a few more, because one can never celebrate too much. And if you want to join the party, add yours in the comments and blog about it, too.
Now for a short list of blogs to check out, which I don't think I saw by the "Lid:"
Risa, Westbank Mama, How to Be Israeli, Leora, RivkA, Mrs. S., Benji, Baila, Ya'aqov, my me-ander and my husband.

Thanks for including me!
Sorry I wasn't able to celebrate with everyone at Rena's. We went to Mizpe Ramon.
My pleasure. We'll have to get together another time. Actually, H and I stayed in Neve Ne'eman. That's why we're not in the pictures.
Thank you, Batya!
Thank you, Batya! As I couldn't be in Israel for 61, all I did was link to those who are (for Yom HaZikaron).
I took about 50 pictures of the little kids in blue and white (maybe with neighbors and parents about 700 people were there?) marching around the block in Edison yesterday. I suppose you would like me to post some of those?
Baila, Leora, a post like this is a fun way to celebrate!
Thanks for the link!
Mrs. S, I'm getting ready for an HH in a couple of weeks...
B"H
Thanks for the link.
Not a lot of computer access these days....
