Real Estate belongs to G-d.
In fact if you look it up in a real estate book
it will tell you that all the land,
everything above it and everything below it,
belongs to G-d. Because G-d created the world.
And you can look that up in any official real estate book.
Can you imagine all the dirt dumped into the ocean, all the
gasoline, all the tires, and all the junk dumped into the ocean?
All that pollution. And G-d purifies it. It is a miracle.
So there are things beyond our abilities.

While I agree that God created the Earth and ultimately holds sovereignty over it, I believe it was created for us to live on with animals over which to have dominion and plants and other resources for us to eat and use. God gave it to us, at least to use. In allowing our free will, the result has been the advancement of intellect and also exploration and discovery and inventions that have resulted in wonderful things for mankind along with horrible things for mankind, as we are imperfect beings with impure hearts/spirits (if you distinguish between the two, as some don't). I also believe that He knows all that happens before it happens and has always known the course humanity would take and what the ultimate result will be. I have been taught that the end result will be the end of this world as we know it, that it will not be a pretty end, and that the center point of the quite final resolution will be in the Middle East. So, bottom line, while God may "own" all real estate, we are the agents of its use and transfer unless/until He decides to intervene in more concrete ways than He has done to date.
Dear Julie,
Thank you for your outstanding comment. The thoughts which you manifested were really refreshing. I would like to hear from you again.
Sylvia, you are right - this is not only in the real estate books, but it is Rashi's commentary on the first pesukim of the Torah. why did G-d begin the Torah with the story of creation and not with the first mitzvot? to show that the world belongs to G-d, to give to whomever He chooses. and, although He does "purify" it to some extent, He expects us to improve the world and not let it deteriorate.
Julie, you are also right, except that the "end of days" will not be a bad time, but after the struggle, the Moshiach will show the whole world how to live in accordance with the Torah.
